Scheune mit Charme Stil Ferienhaus auf einem 20-Morgen-Bauernhof der Familie in Nord-Zentral-Florida, westlich von Gainesville.

Das Ferienhaus ist auf unserem Bauernhof der Familie und hat eine schöne Aussicht auf rollenden Weiden. Es ist ein 1 Schlafzimmer / 1 Bad Hütte, 6 Schlafplätze - 8. Es verfügt über ein Doppelbett und einem Doppelbett im Schlafzimmer und ein Full-Size-Schlafsofa im Alkoven. Es verfügt über eine voll ausgestattete Küche, ein Wohn- / Esszimmer und 1 Badezimmer mit einer separaten Doppel Waschbecken. Es gibt einen kleinen Speicherboden im Schlafzimmer. Das Haus hat auch Wireless Internet, lokale t. v., ein DVD-Player und DVDs sowie eine Waschmaschine und Trockner. Es hat einen eingezäunten Garten mit eigenem Eingang. Bettwäsche und Kochgeschirr sind vorhanden.

Wir befinden uns zwischen Newberry, FL und Trenton, Florida, 22 Meilen westlich von Gainesville, FL. Es ist ein ruhiger, bequemer Platz, bei einem Besuch der University of Florida zu bleiben. Wir sind nur 5 Meilen westlich von der Easton Newberry Bogenschießen Center und Canterbury Equestrian Showplace. Wir sind nah an der Nature Coast State Trail (Radfahren, Wandern, Reiten), und es gibt viele Quellen in der Umgebung. Wir sind 48 Meilen von Cedar Key, 53 Meilen von Ocala, 99 Meilen von St. Augustine / Crescent Beach, 128 Meilen von Disney World und 20 Meilen direkt westlich von I-75.

Das Ferienhaus befindet sich auf einem Bauernhof. Wir haben drei Pferde, eine kleine Herde von Miniatur-Zebus und eine Schar Hühner (beide Hühner und Hähne). Wir haben auch ein paar Land Hunde und Katzen. Es ist ein großartiger Ort für etwas Ruhe und Entspannung weg zu bekommen und zu sitzen und beobachten Sie die Sterne in der Nacht!

Very quaint, quiet, clean cottage. The theme was a country vibe. View of cows right out the front door. Had our own driveway and section of the farm. Its so nice and dark you can see all the stars at night. Bring a flashlight! Also not a complaint because I am from florida be careful of the sandspurs if you have dogs. Just fyi. Would definitely stay here again.

The place was quaint and peaceful on a farm. It could use some updates/repairs but is commensurate with the price. The owners live next door but I never met or spoke with them. Lots of unpaved roads in the area, so no clean cars.

This is our second time staying here for one of my daughters softball tournament. If you enjoy a place that is private, has a farm style atmosphere, this is a great place to stay. It is quaint and has all the amenities you would need to be comfortable. And the price is what makes us coming back. Budget friendly! Will stay here again when we are in the Newberry area. Hosts were great!

Away from the hustle and bustle

We had a peaceful stay here in the country. The cottage was perfect. We were pleasantly surprised by the bonus loft! We really enjoyed feeding the chickens and saying hello to the cows. The location is not too far from grocery stores. The cottage is close to the owners home. But this wasn’t an issue. We’d like to stay again sometime!

Peace & Quiet To The Max!!

If you want peace & quiet & time to get away from the mad rush of life, this is the place. You can sit around all day & watch the cows & chickens & never hear a peep. Owners are right next door, but they don't say boo and you barely see them. Place had everything you need - well equipped kitchen & bathroom. It is a bit old, but has lots of character. Out in the farm lands of Florida - was a wonderful change from the busy shore areas. Would have liked more than just local channels on TV (limited), but bring your laptop & phone. Would love to return! Just what we needed.

Great Stay for Quick Weekend

I was in town with family. This rental was located in a nice, quiet area with a great view of the farm. There was plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows. We would highly recommend staying here when in Gainesville or nearby!

Love this place!

This is my second year staying at the cottage for 2 weeks at a stretch. We love it! My grandson (4 year old) loves the farm and the experience of being out in the country. It is the perfect place if you are traveling with pets too. My elderly Beagle had no trouble going in and out as there are no steps. The host is super easy to contact and replies ASAP. The beds are very comfortable. I asked my grandson what was his favorite thing about the cottage and he said everything! My thoughts exactly.

Perfect Place To Get Away

My family was in the area for my son's graduation from UF. It's about 30 minutes away from campus and we were happy to get away from the traffic! The best part was waking up early on the morning of graduation and sitting on the front porch to drink in the calm and serenity before the busy day.

Beautiful farm with nice cottage!

Great location! All necessary paper products and towels & linens were provided for a comfortable stay. Our Labrador pup was right at home sleeping over night on the pet covered sofa in the alcove & running in the fenced in yard. The cattle and chickens were fun to watch as well as the awesome sunrises!

Lovely little cottage!

Stayed at this lovely cottage for two nights while visiting my son at UF. The location is secure and quiet, and an easy, pleasant drive from Gainesville. The cottage was clean and well appointed. We didn't cook, however, the kitchen was stocked with ample supplies. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Relaxing Stay

After a week of touring round Georgia and Alabama it was good to have a rest at the barn. Although the property is 'rustic' it does have some lovely views and we did see a lot of different birds including woodpecker, cardinals, blue jay etc. We enjoyed visits to many of the state parks in the area and also visits to High Springs and Williston for some antique shopping. Newberry is a very pretty town too, just down the road. One tip, take a hairdryer if you need one as I couldn't find one at the property, glad I had my own with me.

Relaxing, family farm, cattle fun to watch.

Nice stay, nicely stocked kitchen, close to my sister in Gainesville. Only wish we we would have had more water pressure in the shower. Enjoyed visit from the 2 cats.

Second visit

We stayed here in 2014 when taking our mother to visit the area where she was born (1926) and grew up. We returned this week, with extended family. The cottage and grounds were exactly as we remembered them, with the addition of a drawing hanging on the wall, that my daughter had left for the owners, in 2014. What a surprise and joy to see!
