Kai Nalu, was auf Hawaiianisch "Ocean Wave" bedeutet, ist ein wunderschönes Haus direkt am Strand von Waimea, zwischen dem Fluss und dem historischen Waimea Pier. Auf der sonnigen Westseite von Kauai gelegen, bietet dieses geräumige und schön eingerichtete, klimatisierte Haus den perfekten Rahmen für Ihren Urlaub im Paradies.

Genießen Sie einen spektakulären Blick auf das Meer (verbessert durch einen herrlichen Blick auf Ni'ihau - die verbotene Insel) und beobachten Sie jeden Abend den Sonnenuntergang von einem fast endlosen Holzkohlensandstrand aus. Kajak von Ihrem Hinterhof aus und genießen Sie die jährliche Wanderung der riesigen Buckelwale (von Ende November bis April).

Machen Sie einen Spaziergang entlang des Strandes in Ruhe, und wenn Sie hier grünes Funkeln im Sand sehen, handelt es sich um Mineralkristalle, die Olivin genannt werden. Edelstein-Olivin ist als Peridot bekannt, der Geburtsstein für August.

My wife and I stayed at Kai Nalu with two of our adult sons and daughter-in-laws. It was very accommodating for our ohana gathering. We had 3 rental vehicles between us. There was plenty of parking for all. The kitchen and front room were big enough and well-equipped for family style cooking and meals. The washer and dryer were great and in use every day. Each couple had their own bathroom which was a huge plus. The location is excellent. Most mornings we gathered as a family on the backyard beach to watch the Kauai sunrise. Hearing the waves crashing on the beach morning and night added a touch of perfection to our vacation. Shopping, food and shave ice were all a short walk away. The neighbors on either side were very kind and friendly. For Kauai standards, this is a very large, roomy home. We didnt even have to use the 4th bedroom and bathroom. We were very pleased with our choice. If you're staying in Waimea, this is an excellent choice for family/large group accommodations. If i had to choose between the Waimea Plantation Cottages and Kai Nalu, I'd choose Kai Nalu every time! Mahalo!!!

This VRBO was everything we hoped for and more! The location was unbeatable—right on the beach, with stunning ocean views and just a short walk to restaurants and shops. The place itself was even better than the photos. Super clean and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Great location on chill part of the island

Outdoor dining area is great. The beach is not crowded at all. The house is spacious and offers a lot of privacy for each bedroom. The kitchen has all the utensils and pot/pans you need. But you will have to buy everything to cook with including oil, sugar, flour, and any baking stuff (baking soda etc).

Beautiful Waimea

This house was perfect for us. We had plenty of room and our host thought of everything to make the stay a pleasant one. Many items were provided for us and we had all the tools needed to cook, grill, enjoy the beach, and just hang out on the back yard. Stores in the town were an easy walk away. Loved our visit.

Off the beaten path

House was great, neighbors were awesome. It’s not in your typical tourist zone and there is a shortage of good restaurants in the area. We stopped at Costco on our way in and picked up groceries, we cooked at the house several nights, the kitchen is well equipped and we fed 8 adults no problem. Only complaint the ice chest had no lid otherwise everything was as advertised.

The wonderful Kai Nalu House

This is a beautiful well kept property. 7 in our party and no complaints from anyone. Nice beach for walking, jogging, but you cannot swim there and even wading is difficult due to slope of the sand. Waema the town is only 3 blocks from the house with gasoline, 2 stores and various little shops and eateries. 1 bank and 1 credit union. Enjoyed our stay. Would stay again.

Perfect location for a large family

This house was perfect for our large group of adult family members. There is plenty of room for everyone and a bathroom for each bedroom. The kitchen was great and had fabulous knives for food preparation. The only down side was that the air conditioning quit working. Fortunately there were several fans available to move the air around and keep it cool. I would book this house again.

House is great. Location is good if you want a less touristy area. Beach is not useable. High surf area with churning water 24/7. Can’t get in it at all. Also no shaded area to enjoy it. Would have liked more transparency in the beach description for this VRBO. May have impacted my choice. Home was great!

Each couple had their own room & bathroom and there was extra space for the little. The beach is steps away and so relaxing to just sit and watch. There were some minor things in the house that needed attention, and we left a list for the management company hoping that they’ll follow through fixing-they’d been very helpful with questions and assistance since we made our reservation.
