Useful notes:

Parking - You will need to buy a parking pass for $30. This will be good for the length of your stay. You can bring a boat, jet skis, etc., but you’ll have to buy a pass for them. Passes are available at the office located in building A. If you arrive after the office closes, you can go by the following morning. Covered parking is for owners only.

Coffee - Both Keurig and a regular coffee pot. This was a big deal for us since we wanted to have coffee in the condo in the morning and needed to know the coffeemaker type.

Groceries – There are many grocery stores close by including Rouses, Publix, Piggly Wiggly and Walmart.

Restaurants – Too many to list!

Fishing – Gulf Shores has great fishing. We have caught Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, Mangrove Snapper and Sheepshead from the lagoon dock. There is a lighted fish cleaning station. Surf fishing offers Pompano and just about everything else you can catch in the Gulf. Gulf State Park Pier is @20 minutes away. King and Spanish Mackerel, Redfish and occasionally Sailfish have been caught there. There are also many guided trips that won’t disappoint.

Shopping – The Shark and Octopus store have been around forever and have all the souvenirs you’d ever want. You can’t seem to go a block without hitting a Surf Style for everything else beach related. There’s an outlet store in Foley (a cute town) and you can get just about anything you’d want locally. A quick drive to Fairhope and Daphne offers shopping in cute towns.

Entertainment – There’s something for everybody, from The Hangout and Flora-Bama to quieter places with music. Go carts, water parks, mini golf – you name it! Plenty of adult and kid friendly venues! TV- There are televisions in the living and both bedrooms. The televisions are Roku streaming enabled and set to guest mode. No cable. We cut the cord years ago and this works for us.
