I chose to host my apartment on Avenue Mohammed VI because it truly captures the spirit of Tangier: a beautiful mix of sea, culture, and energy. This lively street is one of the most famous in the city, running right along the coast. From here, you can enjoy easy access to the corniche, the seaside promenade, where walking by the water is one of the greatest simple pleasures.
The neighborhood is full of life — cafés with terraces, local and international restaurants, modern shops and malls — yet it remains very clean, safe, and welcoming. Right around the corner, you’ll find the Ibn Batouta Mall, a high-end shopping center where you can browse global and local brands. 
Culturally, this area is a crossroads. The Lalla Abla Mosque, also known as the Port Mosque, is close by and adds a peaceful spiritual touch to the neighborhood.  Also not far is the Mohammed V Mosque, with its striking minaret that dominates the city skyline. 
If you love exploring, walking along the corniche is one of the top activities: sea breeze, beautiful views, and a relaxed atmosphere. For more adventure, you can rent a bike, go horseback riding, or even ride an ATV along the coast — all quite accessible from here.
For quiet moments, there are many cozy cafés nearby where you can sit, enjoy a drink, and watch the daily life unfold. And for shopping or just browsing, the mall is just a short stroll away.
