Wonderful relaxing vacation

We had a wonderful stay. We have rented other condos in the same building and this has been our favourite yet. John is extremely accommodating and helpful. Took all the stress out of our trip. The location is perfect, the view is stunning, and the condo is clean and fresh. We would definitely book this condo again. Overall, we had a fantastic stay.

The condo has a beautiful view and is very comfortable. We slept like babies in the beds. The resort is very family friendly and well-maintained. The property is located with many conveniences within walking distance. It certainly met all expectations!

Perfect Vacation Stay

We stayed in this lovely condo the first week of October and it was everything and more than we expected. It was my groups first time to the area and it was nothing short of amazing. The room had everything we needed from the fridge to the stove top to the beach chairs, it was perfect. Waking up in the morning and have breakfast an coffee on the balcony was lovely, we even got to see some dolphins one morning! We all decided we will definitely be making a return and be sure to stay here again!!

Amazing view

The property has an amazing view of the ocean and pool area in the property. Because of issues unrelated to the property our stay was short and as we were off site the time we visited we cannot really be helpful about the community facilities as we did not use them. The property owners were terrific.

Beautiful condo!

We had a wonderful stay at John's condo in Puerto Vallarta. This was our sixth time traveling there. Usually we stay in all inclusive resorts, but due to the pandemic we decided to try a condo. This place has the most stunning view of the Banderas Bay. John has decorated it beautifully! We walked to the Malécon almost every day. So many restaurants to choose from and so many great meals and experiences. Be sure to try the Argentinian steakhouse across the street, we ate there twice. We will definitely stay there again!

Book it and don't look back

I'm not certain I can add much to the praises sung by prior reviewers, but they are all spot-on. This place is awesome. And John, the owner, is even better. A great condo with a spectacular patio view. It's on the beach with a casual little beach bar with good food steps away, and is a quick (and inexpensive) cab ride from El Centro or Zona Romantico. While we didn't take advantage of the all-inclusive option, it's nice to have. Thanks, John, for a great stay.

Incredible Views

We had an incredible stay at John’s place. It was exactly as pictured - exceeded our expectations in fact. Everything you could need is included. Proximity to the beach and pool was great, there are shops in the resort for any essentials you may have forgot. John was super helpful and quickly responded to any questions we had. We had a hiccup with some billing with the resort admin (at no fault of John’s) - but John was great, and assisted us to sort everything out. I would highly recommend this place!

Awesome Ocean View!

Very nice property! Response from Property Manager is excellent! The only downside of this property relates to the very limited access to pool side lounge chairs. Of course, this is no fault of this property. It is necessay to claim a pool lounger early in the morning or you won't get one. The owners do provide three beach chairs and an umbrella for the beach. The Food Park across the street is a nice spot to grab a variety of good food. Highly recommend to stay at this Unit!

Wonderful

What an amazing time we had for our three week honeymoon. With the exception of the hurricane, lol, everything was fantastic. Great communication with John. Fantastic location, no issues with the resort. We even got to see turtle hatchlings get released on the beach. What an experience. Would 100% stay there again. A note for newcomers, you can have Walmart deliver your groceries to you. We packed some Ichiban noodles in our suitcase so that we had something to nibble on when we arrived. The fully equipped kitchen was very helpful for cooking meals in. Thank you John.

Great condo, bad resort

Great place with awesome views if you plan on staying inside. If you or your kids like to use the pool, especially in the evening then stay somewhere else. Pool closes at 7pm, no floats allowed especially if you’re Caucasian, security is selective on who has to follow their rules. And only Vrbo guest, not hotel guests, are required to wear a bracelet and thus treated as sub par guests everywhere on the property. Unfortunately the resort ruined my experience of a great condo on the inside.

Great experience, Great condo, Great view, Great value

Just returned from our second month long stay in Johns condo. These reviews are accurate, this condo is very comfortable, well equipped, conveniently located, with perhaps the best view in all of Puerto Vallarta. The associated resort, facilities and beach were perfect for our needs. John is extremely helpful and fully engaged to insure your satisfaction and above all extremely trustworthy and comfortable to deal with. It's true there are far more expensive options available, but if your looking for comfort, nice surroundings, nice resort with above average amendies and beach, all for a great value, then this is the perfect match. This was our second stay and there will be a third in the future..........THANKS John Bob and Sylvia Bowers

No surprises, just as advertised

Just spent a month in John's Condo. Everything was as advertised, beautiful view, nicely decorated, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds at a great value. John is a very good host and sincere when he states he is engaged and available for his guests. Location of resort is very convenient with nice beach, tropical landscaped grounds, large pool, close to major shopping and easy access to good public transportation. Resort staff very friendly and helpful, at times can feel a bit crowded ( probably true of all similar resorts in high season or busy weekends). This was our first extended trip to PV and we really enjoyed everything PV has to offer and felt safe everywhere we went. For any future trips, this would be our first choice, Both the condo and John are the "real deal".

Wonderful View. Nicely Appointed Condo!

John was a great host. The view is incredible. The condo is nicely appointed. It was nice to have an ice cooler to take to the beach. However, the constant sound of the commercial a/c units from below robbed us from actually ever hearing the ocean’s waves. The beds were not just firm, but hard. And, possibly because it’s an older property, we’d notice a musty smell each time when we’d first arrive back at the condo. Upon returning home, all clothes, whether worn or not, needed to be washded to remove the musty smell.

Another outstanding visit

Just returned from our fourth extended stay at John’s wonderful condo. “YES” we love visiting Puerto Vallarta and staying in this condo. As most reviewers have pointed out, the view of Banderas Bay is second to none and the condo is well appointed and very comfortable. We are not “all inclusive “ type travelers and enjoy the fully equipped kitchen and the ability to make our own meals or jump on convenient local transportation and enjoy old town with its friendly Mexican charm and unlimited dining choices. The resort has nice amenities and one of the areas nicer beaches. Overall the condo comfortably satisfies all our needs and is a great value. John is a wonderful host and honestly cares about his guests experiences. He is easy to work with and always available to help if something requires attention. His involvement helps make our stays enjoyable and influences our desire to return to Puerto Vallarta and his exceptional condo.

Awesome Condo, Beautiful View

We would highly recommended this condo to anyone visiting PV! The location is fantastic for finding good food within walking distance, grocery stores, fun shopping, and coffee. We chose to do the all inclusive food package on our last day and regretted not using that amenity more - I would recommend trying it if you are going to early on in your stay to decide if you would rather use that for food. We loved the pool, the people who work here are amazing, and the beach couldn’t get any closer! The view from this condo is like none other we have ever seen - book it! November is a fantastic time of the year to come to PV, not crowded, we felt perfectly safe as 3 girls wandering around the street, and John has a great PV guide to guide your stay!!! Breathtaking view and Top Notch Service!!

We have never stayed in a place with such a breathtaking view. The place was perfect for our family. John has all the supplies you need to cook for a family. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we felt taken care of by John. He answered any questions immediately and found solutions for anything we asked for or needed. The home is exactly how it is pictured, there were no surprises at all. John had many suggestions on where to shop and eat and he was 100% correct every time. You will not go wrong with this place especially for the price. John even met us Christmas morning to help us with the All inclusive day pass, who does that??? Thank you John for all of your help and honesty it was so comforting to have you there from the moment we started to discuss plans of our stay until the last day. Tami and Mike

Just the way we pictured it

Wonderful stay, stunning views. Pictures do not do this place justice. We were here for a wedding on the property. A definite upgrade over the other guests rooms. Don’t bother with purchasing the “all inclusive” packages. They’re not worth it. Our friends said the food was awful. Walmart is a mile away and an easy walk (can back) for groceries. Grab some great grub from the Food Park (Food Truck) across the street and bring it back or eat at one of three wonderful, moderately priced Restaurants across the street. Our favourite was La Dolce. Bring or buy a collapsible cooler to keep your beer cold for around the pool or on the beach. Or grab a litre of Mageritas or Mojitos for $125 pesos We will definitely be staying here again when we return to PV.

Thanksgiving trip

My husband, 5 year old son and I enjoyed our stay at Las Glorias. The place was a great size for us 3 and the view is just gorgeous. We wouldn’t recommend the all inclusive at the hotel, just wasn’t worth the $$. I was surprised, in a good way, how many amazing places there were to walk to. We went to Soriana (grocery store) for food and drinks, went to the food truck park 3 times, and out in the neighborhood and the Romantic Zine with some of John’s great recommendations. Beware of the lagoon/river thing in front of the property that leads to the open ocean. Current is so strong and my son and I really struggled to get out of the water once the current pulled us into the ocean. We followed a ton of John’s advice - went to atms to get pesos, some places took credit cards with no issue, and used cabs to get around town. Would be back but minus the kid next time!

Million dollar view in a comfortable and well maintained condo.

We just returned from eight nights in 1242. We were amazed by the view which is even better than the photos. We watched the beach action every morning and saw whales several times during our stay. The condo is clean and well maintained. We cooked breakfast every morning as well as our catch from a fishing trip. It was great to have a kitchen and everything we needed to cook a few meals. The beach is clean and not too crowded during the busy holiday. We enjoyed long beach walks daily. The location is near a grocery store Soriano which had everything we needed There are some great restaurants in PV. I highly recommend hopping the bus and eating there as often as possible! Our favorite restaurant was Melissa's. We had our best meal there. It is reasonable and the family is wonderful. The other best find is the food truck park across the street. The bar has amazing and huge margaritas. The tacos and burritos from the vendors are delicious. John was very helpful with local information and helped us to arrange a day trip to Yelapa which was a highlight for us. We will definitely return to this property!

Absolutely Perfect!

My two kids (18 & 25) and I spent an incredible week in John's condo earlier this month. This was our first trip to Puerto Vallarta...and we fell in love. John's place was exactly as the pictures, descriptions and reviews all state... And then some! He has thought of everything you need to make your visit as comfortable as it can be. The resort is gorgeous, the people so friendly and helpful. We did the all inclusive one day and recommend it for just a lazy day at the resort. We loved exploring the nearby restaurants and especially taxiing down to the Malecon to get fabulous food, shopping, breathtaking scenery, and a real feel for the people of this city. We really tried to take it all in..and John's beautiful place was so relaxing and perfect to come "home" to. The view is something that I will never forget... Stunning any time of day! Parasailers, skydivers, fishermen, dolphins, fireworks ... And the pictures don't begin to do it justice. You won't regret staying in this homey, comfy, perfect home! Thank you for everything John, and we hope to come back someday!
