The house was great but it was advertised as having a heated pool and hot tub. We did not find out that neither was in working condo until we arrived at the house. After explaining to the host that we were never told this information and it should have been indicated in the house listing, the host told me he would add that information which he did by the next morning. Although we really enjoyed the house, we would have never chosen it if we had known that the pool and hot tub were not available especially since the house is so far from everything-15 minutes to the nearest gas station. There was also conflicting information-was told there was a key pad to get in but no key pad anywhere, the host gave us WiFi information but the information in the house was different. Supplies were at a minimum-no ice which I had to purchase-I also had to purchase more dish soap and trash bags. None of these are a huge deal but would expect to have enough of these. Should have known this would be sketchy as no reviews were available. Not sure if we will use Vrbo again especially since our first reservation was randomly canceled on us 6 days before our trip! We did get a refund but the reason was listed for the cancellation was a minimum age requirement-this had nothing to do with us! We were told the landlord cancelled the contract and the utilities were being turned off. I emailed Vrbo about this but never heard back. Just not happy with our whole experience with Vrbo.
