While the cabin its self was nice. The experience was marred by cleanliness issues and bug. I understand the cabin is in the wood and we expect bug but not as much as we would like. There were worm looks like and lady bug and other bugs as I was told they are not dangerous which I fully understand but it’s still not okay for the children and our little puppy. The bug where around the whole house essentially on the bed where the children were going to sleep. It’s not safe for them specially if the bug go in their ears or something while they sleep. I stayed in plenty of cabinets before, but this was not it was dirty was not clean fully. The carpet was dirty. The kitchen was also dirty and dusty. We texted the host was taking for ever to respond, I understand it was Christmas, but it was also not OK for us to stay in the house with bugs especially on the beds where we try to sleep. We try to ask for a refund but we only stayed for one night (book for two nights) the other one we couldn’t be we were scared to sleep because of the bug. We couldn’t even get a refund because we already stayed for a night we could of at least get half of our money back but no we had to spend extra money to book another house to stayed in. This is not okay !!
