Dieses voll ausgestattete Kutschenhaus befindet sich im Herzen von Savannahs historischem Viertel an der eleganten und begehrten Jones Street. Zahlreiche Geschäfte und gastronomische Einrichtungen wie Public, SoHo South und Six Pence Pub sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Der schöne Forsyth Park und mehrere Veranstaltungsorte sind ebenfalls zu Fuß erreichbar.

Wenn Sie keine Lust zum Laufen haben oder nur ein kleines Stück weiter zur River Street fahren müssen, können Sie mit einem Pedicab schnell und bequem zu Ihrem Ziel fahren.

Dieses Kutschenhaus war ein beliebter Aufenthaltsort von Joe Odom, einem Savannah-Prominenten, der Paul Hipp in dem Film "Mitternacht im Garten von Gut und Böse" spielte. Dieser malerische Ort hat einen üppigen, privaten Innenhof, der oft von den beiden Basset Hounds des Besitzers, Bo und Carlie, besucht und bewohnt wird. Sie lieben Gesellschaft, aber wenn Sie in der Stimmung für Privatsphäre sind, können Sie sie bitten, zu Hause zu bleiben.

Perfect location!!

Nicely appointed rental in a perfect location on beautiful Jones St. Lovely courtyard is perfect if traveling with your dog. No car is necessary… all of the historic district is perfect for walking. Right around the corner from Forsythe Park. We will definitely be returning to this amazingly historic city!

Amazing Location & Great Place for Dogs

The property is in an amazing location within the historic district. Everything is very walkable. The courtyard was an added bonus for our dogs. We really enjoyed the stay.

Tucked away but great location

We enjoyed our stay at the carriage house. The space was the right size for us (2 adults and our dog). The entrance was a tad tricky to find since we came in at night and weren’t really familiar with the location, but was easy to get into. We enjoyed the courtyard, and the owners dogs were sweet and friendly with our small pup. Good location for things we wanted to do and had what we needed.

The Epitome of Southern Class and Charm

Two bonuses…hidden peaceful courtyard , the epitome of southern charm, a short walk from historic places people visit from around the world. But so incredibly dog friendly. My dog Merlin was nervous from 20 hours of driving and motels but the dogs Pheobe and Leon became his friends and they played happily in the courtyard.

Live like a local

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This centrally-located carriage house is perfect for exploring all that downtown Savannah has to offer. Parks, shops, museums, and restaurants are steps away in any direction. And you'll find practical conveniences like Kroger, CVS, and a gym all a short walk away. Clean and cozy, with high ceilings that make it live large. I stayed for almost two months, and couldn't be happier.

Wonderful!

I have stayed here a couple of times and just love it! The carriage house is comfortable, quiet, well appointed and very private and is located perfectly to make it easy to get all around the historic district. This pet friendly property is one of my favorites in Savannah!

Lovely carriage house in a prime location

Location is incredible and we felt right at home at the carriage house. It is small but comfortable and the perfect size for our 3 day trip. We loved the visits from the doggies. The bed was a Full size so too small for my husband and I to share. He slept on the sofa and I slept in the bed. An upgraded mattress would go a long way to add to a near perfect stay. There is a bed in the loft but it wasn't an option for our middle aged knees! We will definitely stay again when we return to this lovely city.

Great carriage house

This is our second stay at this property. First time we stayed in the first floor apartment and this time in the carriage house. The location is perfect (Jones street is a stunner). The carriage house everything we needed and it was wonderful because we brought our dog. I would highly recommend this stay! Thanks again

Charming and Great Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a charming and great location. Only 15/20 minutes from River Street and the market. Close enough to walk to but far enough away from all the noise. The shared courtyard is very relaxing and beautiful. The neighbors dogs (Pheobe and Leon) are well behaved and love attention, sometimes they came to visit us on the porch. The pull out couch and full size beds were comfortable but the twin size bed is in a loft type area, not for younger kids. The shower water was hot and had good water pressure, the AC unit kept us comfortable. Only complaint I have was the floor is very rough like a burlap mat and If you have problems with stairs, this may be a bit difficult for you. Access directions from alley, that are given right before you arrive, are easy to find and should be shared (minus codes) for any shuttle services. Smoke free, which i appreciated. I Would highly recommend and I hope to stay at again.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’m a dog lover, but the smell of urine and feces were a bit much. 3 bags of feces stayed next to the courtyard door the entire time we were there.The carpet in the room reminded me of walking on wicker. The shower wasn’t the greatest. The written directions for the property weren’t exactly right.

Sweet Scape

Location, location, location, this property is perfectly located in the historic district, parking on the street was very easy and we were able to walk everywhere when we didn't feel like driving. Leon & Phoebe are very friendly and are ready to greet you when you arrive. Communicating with management was not difficult and they even gave us recommendations, instructions for access thru the garage were clear. The shared courtyard was beautiful, but a bit smelly.

We left after one sleepless night

Pretty as the pictures. But really poor sleeping conditions. Small bed attached to the wall. Also, main house has two big dogs with their door always open to sirvey/protect the backyard, our entry area. I would recommend the space only to small people without their own dog.

Wanted to Love this Place

The photos of the property are accurate - this condo is small but absolutely adorable. It's location couldn't be better - its on a safe, quiet, & gorgeous street. That being said, for all of the "if you do this, you will be fined" threat emails, we arrived to have dog-diarrhea all over the front porch. It was incredibly hard to walk in without stepping in it, we had to lift our dog so she didn't get it all over her feet. Even though the owner cleaned it up within an hour, it smelled like diarrhea for the rest of our stay - so we couldn't be outside on the rocking chair or courtyard. This location bills itself as dog friendly, but there are far more dog friendly locations in this very dog friendly city.

Loved our stay!

The carriage house was a dream to stay in. The space was adequate for 2 people and was comfortable. The courtyard was beautiful and it was a joy to wake up to every morning. It’s a perfect walking distance to everything! Would recommend to anyone visiting Savannah for the first time.
