Escape to this apartment in picturesque Wengen. Beautifully renovated ground floor ski-in, ski-out apartment. Modern & super cosy with underfloor heating. Private entrance, queen bed (160cm x 200cm), dining table & chairs, bathroom, and a shower. The kitchenette is equipped with a small refrigerator, two-burner stove, pots, pans, dishes, Nespresso coffee machine, coffee pods, tea, and a kettle. Located in the same chalet as our Rustic Modern Studio and a short 8 minute walk from the Wengen train station. The studio is bookable for max. 2 people.

The space:
The Sunny Bijou Studio is perfect for one or two people. It is NOT suitable for 2 adults and 1 child. Modestly sized, but very well equipped with a small kitchen, dining area, queen sized bed (160cm x 200cm), and a bathroom with with the toilet and shower in separate rooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'll need, including coffee, tea, and all the cooking essentials.

The Wengen studio offers easy access to all the local attractions; an approximate 6 - 8 minute walk from the village center and right next to the ski slopes. Ski-in / ski-out in the winter, with the slopes less than 50 meters from your front door, or hike-in / hike-out, with the most beautiful “Wanderwege” (hiking trails) Switzerland has to offer.

We'll be around and you will have our mobile number if you need to reach us. We are happy to share tips on where to go, what to do, and the best ways to get around Wengen and Switzerland.

Wengen is a car-free village. If you are traveling with much luggage, we recommend taking a taxi from the train station to the studio on your arrival day. It is a short walk, but worth the treat for about CHF 25. You will have plenty opportunities to walk or hike, ski/snowboard, and we will provide wooden sledges on request.

Bed linen, kitchen linens, and towels are included in the price per night.

Guest access:
The Sunny Bijou Studio is self-contained with a private entrance, only a short walk (8 min.) from the center of the village. In the winter, guests enjoy ski-in, ski-out access and are welcome to use our wooden sleds which are available on request.

Self check-in with a key lockbox. Please plan your arrival no later than 8pm.

Other things to note:
*When booking one of our apartments the booking price includes all applicable taxes, including the tourist taxes/city taxes collected by the village. We are aware of several other listings in the area which don't include this fee in their booking process, but you will be expected to pay the taxes upon your arrival. While we offer guests optional additional services for a fee, we will not surprise our guests with required additional fees upon arrival. Be aware, other hosts may surprise you with required fees.

Water is a precious resource, please do not run it unattended. Our hot water tank contains more than enough hot water for two people to shower and wash dishes, based on Swiss standards of daily water use. The hot water is not unlimited. In the unlikely event that you manage to run the tank empty, you will have to wait for the water heater to reheat. The tank is continuously reheating the water.

Also note that Wengen is (almost) car-free. As a guest you have to park your car in Lauterbrunnen and go to Wengen by train. You can book a taxi in Wengen. A ride from the Wengen station to the Chalet Bim Spycher will cost about CHF 25.
