Very secluded for a perfect getaway

This was the perfect place to get away from it all! Our kids loved that they could walk out the back door and the beach and Gulf were right there! The agency was very helpful and accommodating with any questions that we had. We would absolutely vacation here again!

Beach House

The house was great! Perfect view of the gulf and just a few steps to the water. Clean and functional. DG was close by for items needed in a pinch. Overall a wonderful place to stay and we plan to book it again!

Excellent Property

Pictures are outdated, kitchen and common areas have been renovated. Beach access is awesome, there is an empty lot next to the house so the beach is quiet and all yours.

Beach Bluss

We very much enjoyed our time at this beach house! Just a few steps from the back deck to the beach and water. Spent most of our time enjoying the beautiful ocean views, sunrises, sunsets and private beach. It was so nice to be able to escape the busyness of life to this quiet retreat. We were just a short drive from Gukf Shores and places to shop and eat! Thank you for providing this place!

Great location, but a few issues.

The beach location was great, the house had plenty of room, and weather was great. Unfortunately we saw a few roaches inside the house and on patio throughout the house. Also, there is a house not shown in the photos that blocks the beach view to the west, which was disappointing. When we arrived there were only a few towels and no hand towels. We called the property manager and asked for more, but that request went unanswered. We had to go to Walmart and buy our own hand towels. If they fix the roach problem we would definitely rent again. I’m sure this is a property management issue that could be easily fixed. Otherwise we would have given a 5 star review.

Hi Richard, Thanks for posting a review for Beach House. Sorry for the delay in responding and also the issues you had during your stay. All of our homes are on a bi-quarterly pest control spray with Beebe's Pest Control and they will also go out and spray if any are seen during your stay. We unfortunately are in a tropical climate so sometimes the insects are worse than others. Beach House did get some damage from Hurricane Sally and is getting some repairs and upgrades. A Few Hiccups, But Worth the Price

This was the first trip with my boyfriend's family and mine. The location is scenery is the best!!! It was about 18 miles from the main streets so we didn't get out much. My only complaints were that the internet was constantly going out and our maintenance request went unnoticed. We called about issues with the oven ( we eventually figured it out), there was a hole in the dining area wall, the mixer was broken, and the living room ceiling fan was not working. The most irritating thing was that when we arrived, we had issues getting into the house. We were told someone was going to come by and help with the lock. NEVER HAPPENED!!! Because of this, anytime we had to make a run to Walmart or Dollar General, someone had to stay behind because the main door would not lock from the outside. Because our stay was the week of Christmas (Dec 23-27), we assumed no one would come out to fix these issues, especially on Christmas day. Therefore we made the best out of our time there. It wasn't terrible just a bit frustrating. Overall, we would give them another shot. Although there were a few hiccups, we still enjoyed our time.

Beach Vacation

The location is excellent. The house could use some TLC, but it is priced accordingly. There was a major issue with the sewage pump not working. The rental agency was aware of the problem the day before we arrived. We should have received a heads up on such a major issue. We arrived on Sunday to discover the problem. I called immediately and was assured the plumber would be out Monday to correct the problem. He came Tuesday and diagnosed it, but it didn't get corrected until Thursday afternoon. The Manager assured me he would send someone over to do clean up and sanitize. That never happened. He also told me I would be compensated for the trouble. He was supposed to call me Friday. I have yet to receive the call. I feel like they expected me to understand because I am a plumber myself. I don't understand because I would deal with such an emergency promptly due to the unsanitary condition. I. Still awaiting compensation.

good family rental

Had problems with the ceiling fans downstairs and wall outlets would not hold plug in in place. Beautiful view of gulf from deck made up for all problems though.
