Dorfbereich Poolhaus mit Spielzimmer

Willkommen in unserem tropischen Captiva Island-Ferienhaus. Wir haben uns entschlossen, unsere Heimat Sanga Na Langa zu nennen, was in der fidschianischen Sprache No Worries bedeutet. Nichts ist passender, nachdem Sie eine Woche oder länger zu Hause und auf Captiva Island verbracht haben. Unser Ferienhaus wurde komplett mit vier Schlafzimmern, drei Badezimmern, einem Spielzimmer, einem privaten beheizten Pool und mehr aktualisiert. Es gibt eine geräumige Hauptebene mit Wohnzimmer, Essbereich, offener Küche, zwei Schlafzimmern und einem Badezimmer. Direkt neben dem Essbereich und dem Wohnzimmer befindet sich eine abgeschirmte Veranda mit Sitzgelegenheiten und zusätzlichem Essbereich. Das Hauptschlafzimmer befindet sich im Obergeschoss und verfügt über ein komfortables Kingsize-Bett und ein eigenes Bad. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich ein weiteres Gästezimmer, eine Sitzecke und ein Spielzimmer. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich ein weiterer abgeschirmter Sitzbereich mit Blick auf den privaten beheizten Pool. Wenn Sie Sonne tanken möchten, bieten wir zahlreiche Chaiselongues und Sitzgelegenheiten am Pool. Das gesamte Gebiet ist eingezäunt und privat. Greifen Sie am Ende der Gasse auf den weltberühmten Strand von Captiva Island zu. Da sich unser Haus in der Dorfgegend von Captiva befindet, können Sie Ihr Auto einfach parken und zum Strand, zu Geschäften und Restaurants laufen. Wir freuen uns, Sie bald in unserem neuen Ferienhaus begrüßen zu dürfen!

Dream Vacation

You will love this vacation rental very clean and spacious. We had five adults and there was plenty room for everyone. The pool was very relaxing after being at the beach. We enjoyed the short walk to beach, restaurants and stores. Would highly recommended this beautiful home. We will definitely be back.

We appreciate your positive comments about the location (beach, restaurants, groceries) and amenities like the outdoor shower. Addressing Maintenance & Repairs We apologize for the numerous maintenance frustrations: • Bunk Bed Ladder: We did send a technician on Sunday to repair the ladder. • Front Door Lock: We are sorry for the trouble with the lock. We recognize this as a serious issue and have since replaced the entire locking mechanism. • Other Repairs: The main floor bed has been secured, TV access fixed, all non-working lights replaced, and the lower-level HVAC has been inspected and serviced for proper function. Addressing Cleanliness & Trash Your concerns about cleanliness are taken very seriously, and we apologize this impacted your stay. • Cleanliness: We are very sorry for the condition of the chair cushions, coffee pots, pool area, and dishwasher. Had we been notified during your stay, we would have immediately sent our cleaners back. We have since conducted a deep-clean and retrained our crew on our strict standards. • Trash Bins: We apologize the bins were full upon your arrival. Our pickup is twice a week. We’d love the opportunity to make it right for you.

Vacation

We rented Santa No Langa for a family reunion. Our kids are becoming adults and spread all over the globe so it was nice that they had this time together in a beautiful home and setting. Dream Vacations was easy to work with and the home was inviting and warm.

Duncan Family Annual Vacation

Wonderful vacation and time with family in the beautiful home. We all loved the swimming pool! The downstairs area was like a private apartment with its own refrigerator, washer and dryer and sitting area. My family has said repeatedly this was their favorite home they’ve stayed in for vacation! Room to spread out and room to sit down as a family! Hope to return next summer!

thank you very much for your review. the fourth bedroom is like a separate suite giving privacy and ideal for teens or another couple. we do our best to detail that on the listing, but it's not always as clear as when you actually get there. im sorry about the hot tub. the jets should be working just fine. we'll have the pool company take a look to make sure. should you come back, you hit the spa button and it turns on the spa jets and heat.

Beautiful home

This is a gorgeous and very comfortable home for a vacation in Captiva. It has all the amenities you could possibly want inside the home from wi-fi, televisions, a game room, beautiful kitchen and a large porch. The pool and hot tub are perfect for children. The beach is an easy walk down the street and we spent every morning there swimming and collecting shells. It was an easy walk to many wonderful restaurants. All in all, a fabulous vacation home!!

Great Vacation Home!

Beautiful spacious home on a great street! Close to the beach and restaurants. The basement set up was perfect for our kid's quarters. They loved it. That is when we could get them to come out of the pool. Very nice pool, hot tub, and outside area. Could use some plastic dishware for the kiddo's. Great place, we would stay here again!

High schoolers spring break

Excellent Vacation!

My family of 8 really enjoyed our stay in Captiva. Even with the impact of the hurricane still evident, we found enough places open and enough things to do. The property is very clean, and the location is excellent, even closer to the beach than it seems. The amenities (kitchen items, towels, etc) of the house were as described and there was plenty of everything. There was an issue with a screen door and the hot tub, but both were corrected promptly. My only complaint is that the lower level was described as having a full living space with couches, chairs, refrigerator, tables, etc. This is one main reason we booked this property as we have teenagers and wanted to make sure they had a place to hangout. Unfortunately, with the hurricane, the lower level had to be remodeled and the furniture was not replaced at the time of our visit. This wasn’t communicated and we didn’t know until we got there. I wish we would have been told in enough time to book a property that better suited our family or would have been offered a small refund since we did not feel we were given the same amount of living space we paid for. I hated to have this blemish on an otherwise excellent property. If the lower level could either be furnished as advertised or described as it now is, I would not hesitate to stay there again!

Following the hurricane, renovations on the lower level unfortunately took longer than anticipated to complete. Happy to be back on Captiva.

Sanga na Langa is a fantastic location. We were very happy to be so close to the beach, and to various amenities such restaurants and stores. It did our hearts good to see the island recovering from Hurricane Ian, and we were happy to contribute to the recovery with our presence. We appreciate that the house itself is still recovering too. We wanted it noted the the railings on each of the balconies were unstable, and that we found them this way - we did not contribute to them becoming unstable. Likewise, one of the front steps needs to be replaced. We have concerns that if it is not replaced soon, it could be a hazard for a future guest (i.e., it could cause someone to slip and fall). Again, we did not contribute or cuase these issues - I assure you that we left the house as we found it. Also, after a night of storms, we found some standing water in the game room but were unable to determine where it came in from. Nothing was damaged and the water was easily mopped up. Of course, we have some aesthetic suggestions: we would have liked ambient lighting in the bunk room; we found the basement bedroom too stuffy to sleep in; and we would have liked a sitting chair in the upper bedroom. But these are small details - especially compared to the safety concerns of the steps and railing . Again, on the whole, we had a great week and were simply happy to be there, happy to be on Captiva, happy to be on vacation, happy to be at the ocean and happy to be together. Thank you

Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen. Der Pool ist noch viel schöner als auf den Fotos. Die Lage ist sehr gut, strandnah und dicht am Islandstore und eisladen.Mängel im Haus wurden unkompliziert behoben.

Wonderful!

We had a fantastic week at Sanga Na Langa! The house is lovely and well-supplied. It was quite clean, with the exception of the areas that we all tend to overlook in our own homes, mainly the dishwasher filter, & a musty smell in the upstairs washing machine (both of which we took care of ourselves). There is a second fridge and washer/dryer in the basement and the big grill on the pool deck works well. As others have indicated, the house needs plastic plates and cups that are good for little kids and taking out to the pool. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room to spread out. With the exception of plasticware, the kitchen was very well stocked! The Sonos system was great for being able to play music throughout the main living space and on the back porch. We loved being able to walk into the village and to the beach within just a couple of minutes. We were able to use the game room, but it needs some attention. The slot machines are difficult to open and one of them has a broken-off key which made doing so nearly impossible, the big game has a broken screen which rendered it unusable, the air hockey table wobbles, and the shuffleboard table needs to be treated so that the pucks slide as intended. The management company was very responsive when we called to ask about the game room and came to do what they could to make it work better. The house has several beach umbrellas in good shape; the chairs were more beaten up, but would still have worked if we didn't have our own. We didn't need to use the beach cart, but we saw it in the garage and it looks like it's in good shape. There are no pool floats, so if that's important to you, bring your own or plan to buy them when you arrive. Our kids loved the cornhole set! One thing that is not clear in the listing: The basement is accessed by going down the stairs, outside into the garage, and then back into the house. If you've got little kids that you're planning to have sleep down there, you'll need a monitor if you want to be able to hear them from upstairs. We had a wonderful time staying at Sanga Na Langa and would not hesitate to book this house again. Many thanks to the owners and management company for facilitating a great week.
