Classic 1914 Sequim Farmhouse Offers Charm, Relaxation, & Fun For The Whole Family!

Welcome to The Farmhouse! This classic 1914 Sequim farmhouse has been updated with everything you need for a wonderful vacation while keeping its original charm. Our home offers many opportunities for relaxation and fun. Curl up with a good book on the all-season sun porch. Unwind with a glass of local wine on the back patio or in the hot tub, both overlooking a picturesque neighboring barn. The large, private yard has plenty of space to run and play. There are fruit trees, a tree house, and a family of deer that occasionally visits looking for apples. The Farmhouse is a peaceful retreat to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life while being only minutes from golf courses, lavender fields, parks, restaurants, and shopping. Just steps from the main house is a charming little cottage with a game room. Featuring ping-pong, air hockey, darts, and more, this is a favorite hangout for kids and kids-at-heart. Inside you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen complete with all the gadgets needed to put together a delicious meal. There is a spacious living room with a wood stove and a 55” streaming-TV on the first floor. A 2nd TV, games, and puzzles can be found in the upstairs den. The Farmhouse sleeps ten, making it ideal for families of all sizes, or even two families vacationing together. There are two bedrooms downstairs - a bunk room with two twin beds, and a room with a king bed. Located upstairs are a bedroom with a queen bed and attached half bath, and a whimsical kids room with two twin beds. There is also a comfortable sofa bed in the den that can sleep two people. We have two full bathrooms and a large laundry room on the first floor, and a half bathroom upstairs. *There will be a Security deposit for $500 held against your card 48 hours before arrival. If no damage is reported by staff, this will be released 24 hours after checkout*

-Important: All cancellations are subject to a non-refundable payment processing fee. For VRBO bookings, this is listed as an “administrative fee” and is calculated at 5.5% of the base rate to reflect the payment processing and integration costs incurred on the full reservation amount, including cleaning and tax charges. Direct bookings (website): 4% fee. This fee covers third-party processing costs and is not retained by us. Thank you for understanding!
- Maximum number of guests not to exceed 10.

- No pets without prior written approval.

- Only use fireplace, fire pit if you have adequate experience and know how to operate safely. Use of the fireplace, fire pit, is at your own risk and with the understanding that you are responsible for any damage caused by your use of the same. Please do not introduce unapproved items in the woodstove – just firewood, kindling, matches, fire starters, Duraflame Logs, and this goes for the fire pit as well.

- Local fire-ban ordinances must be observed with regards to the outside fire pit. Care must be taken to keep fires under control and to a reasonable size.

- Children and infants are welcome; however, the property is not child-proofed. We do not provide baby gates, outlet covers, cabinet locks, corner guards, or other child-safety items. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children at all times and ensuring their safety during the stay.

- Be a good neighbor. No trespassing onto neighboring properties.

- This house uses a septic system; ONLY toilet paper can be flushed.

- Because we keep our cabin sparkly clean for you, we kindly ask that you lend a helping hand. Clean any dishes used, put dirty laundry in the hamper, you know the basic stuff... It helps keep the cleaning costs down for you and future guests.

- We`re keeping the floors clean for our guests, please no shoes in the house.

- Accidents happen, when they do please notify us as soon as possible. This is the best way to ensure the return of your security deposit.

- No illegal drugs allowed.

- Please be respectful of our neighbors. You`d be surprised how sound travels through the forest, please keep noise to a minimum between the hours of 10:00pm and 8:00am.

- Please help mother earth. Turn lights and accessories off; heat at 65 degrees when not in use.

- No smoking of anything allowed indoors, smoke it outside please.

- We are honored you decided to choose The Farmhouse, however if your goal is to throw a party this is not the destination for you. Any such behavior will result in immediate removal from the property.

- Want to stay an extra hour or so? Should be fine but requires approval, let us know in advance.

- Please stay out of the attic, crawlspace, shop and storage areas. These areas are dangerous and not designed for guests.

- PARKING – Parking is limited to 5 vehicle(s). Vehicles are to be parked on the driveway only. Any illegally parked cars in the community are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.

- Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be removed from the home.

- Checkout time is 11:00 a.m. unless otherwise approved by the host in advance. Guests who stay past this time will be charged $25 per 30-minute increment. Thank you for respecting the time and schedules of our hosts and cleaning staff.

-We do not permit supplies, furniture, decorative items, appliances, and other furnishings to be removed from the home. Please leave the home as you found it.

-Please do not play with or tamper with the decorations on walls or shelfs. These are for guests to enjoy, not for play.

-PERSONAL ITEMS
Please check the home for any of your personal items left behind. It is extra work for our cleaners to gather the items, take them to the post office and ship them. For any items left behind we are happy to mail them out however there will be a $50 charge to pay for our time.

- Storm: No refunds will be given in the event that a storm or severe weather conditions limits your accessibility to The Farmhouse.

- Hot Tub: Please enjoy the hot tub. No horse playing which includes whirlpooling, MAX 6 people in the tub at one time, do not sit on the edges, no food, no glass in or around the tub, kids under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or someone over the age of 18. No one wants to bathe with you so please shower prior to use. Use is at your own risk, please exercise caution when entering, exiting, & using the tub.

- Violations of these rules can result in additional fees or immediate cancellation of your reservation and removal from the property without refund.

Guest(s) shall fully hold harmless Wanderers Choice LLC and its associates from any and all claims, lawsuits, causes of action, liability, loss, damage and/or injury, of any kind whatsoever including without limitation all claims for monetary loss, property damage, equitable relief personal injury and/or wrongful death.
