The Peaceful Garrard Inn

Hey.. for folks reading....Michael reserved a house but chose the wrong listing. Ithe house he rented on line had been cleaned thoroughly and air was on really cool, since it was a hot day. He arrived. With 5 people. Not 2 as his reservation said. I had to move to another house because the house he was suppose to stay in was 3 bedroom. He needed 4. So, we opened another house up. Guests had just left but it was turned quickly for them. We had a storm that knocked out the internet which I learned during their visit. I stayed and visited with the guests for over an hour asking if they needed anything. They declined. They said they were just fine. No mention of toilet paper or a spider web. The house was at 68 when we cleaned after their stay. I wish guests would take 5 minutes to make a quick call to a host and inform them if there is an issue instead of leaving and then writing a negative review for a small business owner. Toilet paper and wiping off a spider web is an easy fix. If they'd followed directions they were suppose to call in advance for a door code. Easy fixes. Would make this review and my willingness to have them as guest again much more positive. Next time please pay attention to which property you want to reserve and be honest about the number of people staying, or visiting the property.
