The Space:

Welcome to Sugar Sands, a charming and intimate vacation treasure on the shores of beloved Madeira Beach. Sugar Sands offers a peaceful beachside experience with only four condos sharing a private pool and secluded beach. This lovely tropical oasis is just steps from the beautiful beach and laden with exotic and fragrant greenery, tropical huts, a BBQ grill, and an outdoor shower. Beach towels and beach chairs are available.



A unique blend of Florida fishing village, residential community and tourist destination contribute to an original vibe that is Madeira Beach. Mad Beach, as it's affectionately referred to, is that curious mixture of history, progress, and stability which, when paired with the perfect weather of Florida's Gulf Coast, makes for a delightful community. Measuring only two miles long, this small seaside gem draws beach lovers to its pristine white sandy beaches. Madeira Beach is home to John's Pass Village and with six public parks, boat-accessible restaurants, charter boats, and dolphin watch cruises, it has something for everyone. Dog-friendly beaches include Bicentennial Park, Fort Desoto Park, and Boca Ciega Millennium Park.



Sugar Sands C is on the second floor and offers 2,500 sq. ft. of homey beachside living penthouse style. This retreat offers fabulous views from the sunroom, dining area, and main suite, and all the comforts of home with a nicely appointed kitchen, wine refrigerator, and breakfast bar. Three bedrooms have private full bathrooms, TV, and king beds, a rare luxury. The magnificent main suite boasts a charming sitting area overlooking the glistening Gulf of Mexico. And last but not least, the fourth bedroom has two sets of full bunk beds, a TV, and a handy sink and refrigerator.

Elevators are not available.

Free shared on-site laundry.

If you choose to bring a dog, they are not allowed in the pool.

Breeds not allowed: Akita, Australian Blue Heeler, Boxer, Bull Mastiffs, Chow, Dalmatian, Doberman, English Bulldog, Great Dane, Husky (any type), Malamute, Mastiff (any variation), Pit Bulls, Presa Canarios, Rottweiler, Saint Bernard, and Wolf-dog Hybrid.

Adult family trip. Plenty of room for our group of 8. The property was clean. The pool was the perfect size to relax. We loved being able to walk out to the beach from the property. The beach was well maintained and patrolled. Beautiful area to walk. Mini golf is across the street. Restaurants, grocery store, Target within five minutes. About a 20-30 minute drive to the Tampa airport, depending on traffic.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! All of the rooms were spacious... plenty of room for our group of 5 adults and 5 kids. Communication with the host was amazingly responsive. And best of all, we loved how close the pool and beach were. Having laundry facilities in the unit was much appreciated. And while the bathrooms could use a little sprucing up the water pressure in the showers was wonderful! Could use some pot holders, additional kitchen towels and a set of measuring spoons in the kitchen but these were minor issues. All in all I would definitely recommend the place and we'll add it to our places to revisit!

Right on the beach, great views and overall a great place to stay at, I think they need to advertise it could be a shared space with the pent house above and smaller apartments below. You also share the pool as well. But great time and everything lived up to the pictures

Penthouse was perfect size for a large group. Beautiful views. Beautiful beach. Two things that would have made it a 10/10 stay would have been a heated pool and outdoor lighting on the patio. The pool was ice cold and the patio was pitch black with only a couple solar lights.

All in all a really nice place, great location with stunning views! The pool was nice but extremely cold and not very clean, watched the pool guy come and scoop leaves off the top but that was it. It was pretty clean but a little dated, the air conditioner definitely needs to be replaced I was hot the whole time and i stayed in April, I can't imagine what it's like in July!

The location was great. Oceanfront, nice views. AC was great, although certain bedrooms were definitely hotter than others. Was not happy with going up and down the stairs, especially with groceries. Wish they had an elevator, or at least a description of the stairs so people would be aware. Two bathrooms were updated. One was not. Cleaning was not so great. Floors needed to be mopped. Bathrooms needed a lot of deep cleaning, especially around shower enclosures. Tiles were chipped in the kitchen and dining area. Overall, a good vacation but needed some extra TLC.

Great location and very comfortable stay

Amazing location right on the beach with a great pool area. Kayaks, paddle boards and chairs are all there for you to enjoy as well as grills. We had a blast!

Great beach property

We had a great stay at the beach house. Property is right on the beach and having the pool was perfect. The beds were super comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. Definitely recommend this property for a beach getaway.

Great for large groups!

This property was a great location for my birthday party with our closest friends! The property’s location was awesome along the beach & close to all Madeira Beach sites.
