We’re Aden & Jon — partners in life for nearly 20 years, and now your hosts for an unforgettable stay in Vermont. Jon is an attorney and Managing Partner of a national law firm, and I (Aden) am semi-retired after founding and selling a natural skincare company we built from the ground up. These days, I spend my time restoring our 200-year-old farmhouse, blending history, design, and craftsmanship into a home filled with charm and intention.
We’ve always loved bringing people together through good food, beautiful spaces, and meaningful experiences. When we’re not hosting, you’ll find us cooking (and experimenting with cuisines from around the world), exploring Vermont’s small towns, hiking, biking, gardening, or enjoying quiet evenings by the fire. Jon’s a devoted skier, and I’m learning to fly small aircraft — so adventure is never far away!
Our goal as hosts is simple: to create an experience that feels personal, welcoming, and genuinely special. We’ve poured our hearts into this home, and we love sharing it with guests who appreciate thoughtful details, comfort, and a true sense of place.
Welcome to your own private slice of Vermont heaven — a rare opportunity to experience an entire historic estate that feels like a world unto itself. Perfect for two families or a group of close friends, this beautifully restored classic farmhouse comfortably sleeps 12+ guests and offers over 215 acres of total privacy, serenity, and adventure.
Step inside to find a warm, refined home that perfectly blends rustic Vermont charm with luxurious modern comfort. The gourmet kitchen — featuring a professional BlueStar range and top-of-the-line appliances — is a dream for cooks and entertainers alike. Gather around the stately dining room table for memorable dinners, unwind in the cozy family rooms, and watch the snow fall over rolling fields and mountain views.
Outside, endless winter fun awaits: explore your own private trails, connect to local snowmobile routes, or simply relax and breathe in the quiet beauty of the countryside. The property also includes a full-house generator, high-speed internet, an EV charger, unlimited parking, and garage space for four vehicles.
Located in the heart of ski country, you’re just minutes from the best of southern Vermont: Magic Mountain (7 min), Bromley (12 min), Stratton (15 min), Okemo (22 min), and Mt. Snow (40 min). The charming village of Londonderry, with its shops and restaurants, is only 3 minutes away.
For those seeking even more space, a separate two-bedroom guest cottage (sleeps 6) is available at an additional cost — ideal for extended family, friends, or guests joining later in the season.
This is more than just a rental — it’s an experience. A magical Vermont winter spent here will stay with you forever.
One-week minimum stay required. Extended stays (one month or longer) warmly welcomed.
A few additional house rules: LGBTQ friendly guests only. Photo ID verification required prior to booking approval. No pets/emotional support or service animals of any kind allowed - when not being rented we live in the house full time and with allergies accommodating animals is not possible. Only toilet paper can be flushed down the toilets, and all other personal care products must be disposed of in the trash. The property has several septic systems, and flushing anything other than toilet paper will cause a failure, and a damage claim. Absolutely no smoking or vaping indoors, or house parties allowed. No unregistered guests allowed on the premises for any reason. All trash and recycling must be placed into the dumpsters at the bottom of the driveway. The use of any of the indoor fireplaces is prohibited. There is a Solo Stove available outside to use as a firepit. All skiing and winter sport equipment must be left on the outside covered patio, and not worn in the house. Guests that enjoy our private trails and encouraged to explore, but please respect nature. We also allow a few of our neighbors to use our trails (but there is total and complete privacy at the house lot, so be as loud as you want). Please be respectful to our neighbors that walk our trails if you cross paths. No hunting, trapping, shooting allowed. Do not rearrange any furniture for any reason without asking the homeowners first. All outbuildings barns, sheds, tool shop, workshop, commercial kitchen, hay loft are locked and are off limits to all guests. All kitchen dishes, tools, appliances, and surfaces must be cleaned before checking out. Please leave all linens on the beds when you check out so that the owners can remove and clean them properly. Be respectful of our home and property. Please treat it as you would want someone to treat your home. The owners have a caretaker who lives in the detached cabin. He is very private, and will not interfere with your visit. He's not there to help guests, but can connect us to you in an emergency as he has access to all the buildings. We have someone to plow snow during storms, and he will need to be able to access all the driveways in order to keep everything plowed. You may park anywhere you want, so long as there is no storm, so that our plow guy can push the snow. We will leave info in the house info book to show you where to park vehicles when snow is coming. If the plow service is unable to fully plow the driveway, and you get snowed in then you will be responsible for paying for him to come plow again. A shovel is provided outside of the main entry door, which is the kitchen door. Our plow guy does not shovel, so guests are responsible for shoveling a small path through snow outside of the kitchen patio so that you can walk safely to the plowed driveway. Snow occasionally falls off the roof and can create a pile.
