*Shangri-La*, a treasured family home nestled on the shores of Brays Narrows, near Long Cove and the scenic waterways of Deer Isle. With its nostalgic vibe, this well-kept waterfront retreat which blends retro charm with modern comfort.
Shangri-La* boasts four bedrooms and two bathrooms, offering plenty of space to stretch out. On the first floor, you’ll find a cozy queen bedroom, a handy ¾ bathroom (shower stall), and a spacious living area. The living room, complete with a decorative (non-functional) fireplace and large sliding doors, opens onto a seaside deck with a patio set—perfect for enjoying the view over dinner or morning coffee. The kitchen, while timeless, comes fully equipped, including a dishwasher and a quaint breakfast nook for lazy morning meals.
Upstairs, there are three additional bedrooms. One has a full bed and playful nautical touches, another features a queen bed and a private balcony with sweeping ocean views, while the third holds a full bed with plenty of clothing storage. The second-floor bathroom features a full tub/shower combo.
But that’s not all. The lower level has a game room where you can challenge friends to some air hockey, ping pong, a game of pool or break out a classic board game.
Outside, a small lawn surrounds the home, and just down the driveway, you’ll find access to a private boat launch and cove. Two kayaks are available for your use—just be mindful of the tide to avoid any mishaps.

HOUSE RULES
NO SMOKING
No large parties or gatherings
No fire pits unless advertised and included
CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations must be in writing and received by Agent. Cancellations may only be made between the date that a reservation deposit is received and a date determined to be 45 days prior to the tenants scheduled arrival date. Cancelations within 45 days of arrival will not result in a refund in whole or part of rental monies received. If a cancellation is made prior to 45 days of arrival, the Agent shall, as an accommodation to the Tenant, make an effort to re-rent the property at the published rate for the rental term reserved. No refund of rents paid will be made until the canceled period is re-rented and confirmed. If the canceled period is re-rented, any rent and taxes paid will be refunded less a $100 administrative fee. If the re-rental amount is less than the published rate, any difference in rental rate remains the sole obligation of the tenant. If the unit is not re-rented, all rents paid, processing fees and taxes shall be forfeited as damages. This cancellation policy is strictly followed. Tenants are encouraged to purchase travel insurance for all vacations to cover many situations that may arise that might cause one to cancel vacation plans. There are many independent insurance providers available to tenants.
I understand that the insurance company holds this policy and that The Island Agency does not determine eligibly of claims.
