This cottage is a birder’s and naturalist's haven, situated on 4 acres of spruce forest, field, and yard, with tidal shoreline frontage on Pickering Cove. Osprey Cottage has one full bathroom and two cozy bedrooms with ceiling fans. The first with a double bed and the second with a trundle sleeper (with option for a queen bed - please ask). The well-lit bathroom has new tile throughout with a walk-in shower, washer and dryer, and laundry prep area. The stairs into the house are minimal and once inside the space is one level and easy to maneuver.

The living area is an open-concept with soaring ceilings, lots of sunlight and a wall of windows with woodland and water views. The living room is furnished with a comfortable loveseat, armchair, bench and coffee table. The modern kitchen is well-equipped with a new dishwasher, electric range, and refrigerator. The dining nook is set for four, with lovely views of the yard and cove.

Osprey cottage has a furnished deck on the water side. Enjoy quiet evenings watching the cove from this sweet vantage point or walk to the shore where you can watch the tides come and go.

There are short walking trails throughout the 4 acres including a path from the cottage to the cove. Seasonal birdfeeders and native plants attract wildlife and 74 bird species have been documented on the property. Ospreys nest on nearby islands and are seen daily along with cormorants, gulls, warblers and deer. Information is provided on local nearby nature preserves.
