At Peace Downeast is a beautiful oceanfront home in the scenic, quiet, and private Plumb Point neighborhood. Enjoy four acres of forest, a small and sandy pocket beach, deep water dock and a well-built post and beam home in this amazing setting. At Peace Downeast is a two bedroom, two and a half bathroom home with guest quarters above the garage. The house is comfortable for up to eight guests.
At Peace Downeast has recently been upgraded to high speed fiber optic internet.
At Peace Downeast provides a one-level living option for two guests with a well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable living area with great views, a bright and airy sunroom attached to the master bedroom which has two twin beds which can be combined to make a king size bed. The first floor of the home also has a full bathroom.
The upstairs of the home has one bedroom with a queen bed and dresser and a media room with a queen size sleeper sofa. The upstairs access has a catwalk that looks down over the first floor living room. The second floor of the home includes an additional full bathroom.
The garage sleeping quarters are spacious and well equipped with two twin beds and a half bathroom. The first floor of the garage stores four single kayaks for tenants use.
The exterior of At Peace Downeast is glorious. There is a deep water dock within 50 feet of the main house deck. Off the driveway there is a path to the pocket beach. This is a great place to launch the kayaks included with the rental. The home has eastern exposure which makes for great sunrises over the bay.
At Peace Downeast is thoughtfully designed, private and spacious. Come and enjoy some time in this seaside paradise in Deer Isle.

HOUSE RULES
NO SMOKING
No large parties or gatherings
No fire pits unless advertised and included
CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations must be in writing and received by Agent. Cancellations may only be made between the date that a reservation deposit is received and a date determined to be 45 days prior to the tenants scheduled arrival date. Cancelations within 45 days of arrival will not result in a refund in whole or part of rental monies received. If a cancellation is made prior to 45 days of arrival, the Agent shall, as an accommodation to the Tenant, make an effort to re-rent the property at the published rate for the rental term reserved. No refund of rents paid will be made until the canceled period is re-rented and confirmed. If the canceled period is re-rented, any rent and taxes paid will be refunded less a $100 administrative fee. If the re-rental amount is less than the published rate, any difference in rental rate remains the sole obligation of the tenant. If the unit is not re-rented, all rents paid, processing fees and taxes shall be forfeited as damages. This cancellation policy is strictly followed. Tenants are encouraged to purchase travel insurance for all vacations to cover many situations that may arise that might cause one to cancel vacation plans. There are many independent insurance providers available to tenants.
I understand that the insurance company holds this policy and that The Island Agency does not determine eligibly of claims.
