Great place on the beach

Stayed in October 2019. Flat situated directly on the beach with great views over the bay. The town is about a mile walk along the prom. There are bars, restaurants and food shops close by. The apartment has everything you need for your stay. The owner Fernando was in good contact should we have needed anything else. Recommended.

Fabulous experience!

We had an amazing time in Almunecar. We had myself and my husband and my daughter and her boyfriend for a few days. This apartment was perfect -- 2 nice bedrooms and bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and nice living and dining area. And a fabulous terrace overlooking the beach. We enjoyed the view, the beach, there were lots of good restaurants and markets that were not too far, and the old town of Almunecar was very quaint. There are even some Roman ruins of a fish salting factory. Even though we had to change our arrival time because of some luggage issues, the owners were very accommodating and Lidia, the person who met us at the apartment was very helpful. We would absolutely stay in this apartment again. Excellent experience! Allison Tanner.

Bien

Bel appartement, situé façe à la mer. Belle terrasse. Cotobro est un bel endroit calme. Pour un peu plus de confort, quelques petites améliorations seraient à prévoir. Un lave vaisselle et pour faciliter le ménage un aspirateur me paraît indispensable.

Stunning!!

This is a lovely apartment in an absolutely perfect location, the photos are accurate. Almunecar a very Spanish resort, catering for mainly Spanish tourists (you won't find any English pubs etc here!). It is situated on the Costa Tropical, where the Sierra Nevada mountains meet the Med. The apartment has everything, but its main attraction is a gorgeous terrace over the Mediterranean Sea in a quieter part of town at the end of the Playa Cotobro beach. The terrace is deep enough to provide plenty of shade, even at midday. The apartment also has all kitchen and other appliances, it has a separate kitchen, 2 bathrooms with toilet, etc. etc. The apartment is a 15 min walk along the seafront from the town of Almunecar itself and as the photos show, is literally across the road from Playa Cotobro beach. Almunecar has many restaurants, but it is great to self cater and dine on the beautiful terrace, watching the world go by. (We watched dolphins one evening!) The Meracadona supermarket in the town has a large underground carpark and there is also a daily food market in town as well selling amazing seafood; so it is easy to stock up on some excellent spanish produce (the fridge is large!). Almunecar also old moorish town centre and roman ruins. For the literature types, it was also the setting for part of Laurie Lee's "As I walked out one summer morning" novel (there's a statue of him in the town). Also with the completion of the motorway, both Malaga and Granada are about 1 hour away. Fernando is a great host and is very helpful in making sure you enjoy your stay.

Vivre au contact de la mer !

Merveilleux séjour dans ce très bel appartement situé sur la belle plage du Cotobro à 30 mètres à peine de la mer. La terrasse idéalement située, permet de bénéficier du soleil de tôt le matin à tard le soir ( superbes couchés du soleil ! ) Comble du bonheur pour un pêcheur, il y a du poisson dans la baie, et le piton rocheux devant la terrasse est un bon spot !!!! Les propriétaires, Ana et Fernando sont des gens tout à fait charmants et attentionnés . L'appartement récemment réaménagé offre tout le confort souhaitable, ainsi qu'un parking privatif Le top !!!!

Lovely views to the sea

Stayed here for 3 nights in October, weather was lovely. Could lie in bed and listen to the sea rolling over the stones on the beach. Enjoyed sitting on terrace just looking at view. Did not cook as local restaurants where very good. 10 minute walk along promenade to reach most restaurants. Liked Alumanacer and will definitely return

A pleasant place to stay

We (2 adults and two children) stayed for only six days in this lovely apartment in Almunecar. The balcony offers a great view to the sea a enough space for dining and for relaxing. A great advantage of this flat is the private parking space and the beach directly in front of the building. The service provided by Ana and Fernando was excellent. The property was cleaned properly at our arrival. The interior is well furnished so that whe did not miss anything. The two Bathrooms and the kitchen are not refurbished as the other rooms but in an adequate stat. In summary, with the rent to pay in mind it is a great place to stay. Wir haben in der Wohnung sechs Tage Kurzferien verbracht und die Zeit sehr genossen. Der Blick vom Balkon ist toll und die Wohnung ist gut gelegen. Sehr positiv ist der eigene Parkplatz. Die Inneneinrichtung ist modern und freundlich. Der Balkon bietet genug Platz für vier Personen, zum Essen, Ausruhen etc. Während die Wohn- und Schlafräume modernisiert sind, sind die zwei Bäder und die Küche noch auf einem älteren Stand. Das ist m.E. aber angesichts des Preises angemessen. Der Service ist sehr gut und die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern hat prima geklappt.

Splendid beach front ocean view apartment

This beach front luxury apartment is everyone's dream of a holiday hideaway. It is in an unspoiled Spanish town on the Tropical Coast, where the Sierra Nevada mountains meet the ocean. There is everything one wants in an apartment, especially a gorgeous front terrace over the ocean in a secluded part of town at the end of the beach, but also all appliances, separate kitchen, fine baths, etc. etc. The location is a brief and exceptionally beautiful walk from the town itself and right on a beach good for sunning, boating, swimming. The town is low key but has many excellent restaurants at prices that are unbelievably good value for such fine cooking. We decided to breakfast and dine out every day, though after a while we missed eating on our own beautiful terrace and began to shop. The town has a long, attractive beach front as well as its own historic higher town area, where there is interesting shopping. Everywhere and in all directions the sights are glorious. This is truly that unspoiled holiday find that you think you can never find. It is there and the landlord is most attentive and generous. We will not forget such a beautiful and enjoyable vacation. P.s. there is also convenient parking behind the building or in front.

Estupendo apartamento. Un sitio para relajarse

Me llamo Ana y el pasado verano fue el segundo que pase en este apartamento. El primer año fuimos con unos amigos, y este último fuimos mi marido y yo solos. El apartamento es una maravilla! Es muy espacio, luminoso y los propietarios, Fernando y Ana , que son encantadores, lo tienen decorado con muchísimo gusto. Otra cosa que me gustaría destacar es lo limpio que estaba el apartamento en las dos ocasiones en las que he ido. Lo mejor de la casa es la gran terraza que tiene. El tamaño es perfecto y podría decir que esta prácticamente encima del mar! No os podéis imaginar lo que es desayunar y cenar en esa terraza….!!! La casa esta ubicada en una zona tranquila, en frente de una playa preciosa, con muy buen ambiente de día y, por la noche se podría decir que lo único que se oye es el mar. Aunque nosotros siempre cenábamos en nuestra terraza, también existe la alternativa de ir dando un agradable paseo, de unos 15 minutos, hasta una zona llena de tiendas, restaurantes, pubs...etc. En fin, que si queréis pasar unas vacaciones de verdad no lo dudéis ni un momento porque ni la casa, ni la zona os van a defraudar!
