family-run B&B on the sunny slope of the spa town of Merano, the ideal starting point for active opportunities in summer & winter. A regional breakfast buffet sweets in the morning. To finally relax, the seasonal outdoor pool, year-round heated hot tub and the Finnish outdoor sauna ball in the vineyard. You will receive the best recommendations directly from Me.
Tip: Here the rooms are freely assigned, i.e. with an extra bed, etc. On our page "Prairerhof" you can choose the room yourself.
The space
In the traditional farmhouse, a total of 12 rooms await you, each with private bathrooms in traditional "Tyrolean style". The rooms have a seating area, shower, toilet, free Wi-Fi, and a SATELLITE TV TV. All except two rooms also have a balcony with fantastic panoramic views.
Every holiday morning, a regional breakfast buffet with many homemade products awaits you. In addition, there is a fully equipped communal kitchen & the Tyrolean breakfast room for sitting together with the WMF fully automatic coffee machine and a trust bar at your disposal.
Guest access
Through the common entrance area, each guest reaches their private room door.
The communal kitchen, Tyrolean parlor, hot tub, outdoor swimming pool, Finnish sauna ball in the Weinerg, Relaxing Room and the sunbathing area are freely available to all guests.
Covered parking is provided!
And two electric charging stations are at an extra cost.
During your stay
My grandma and I (Thomas) run the Active B&B Prairerhof together. My grandmother also lives in the farmhouse and welcomes you personally on arrival. I am available to you personally every morning and also at any time by phone or via Whats app for tips and questions.
We are happy to help you plan your vacation days with many personal tips so that you have an unforgettable time with us.
Other things to note
The rooms are automatically assigned when booking, i.e. single, double, triple & quadruple room, everything is possible and is assigned by the system by accident, we unfortunately have no influence here!
If you want to see your room pictures first, just find us with the term "Prairerhof" and write to us. We will then also be happy to make you a non-binding offer adapted to your wishes.
We are open all year round!
Included is the Schenna Card, with which you can use all public transport in all of South Tyrol free of charge. The tourist tax is €2.80 per guest & night and can only be paid in cash on site.
