Our spacious and refreshed 3-bedroom/3-bath ranch-style townhome is located within the exclusive Legacy Villas Resort at La Quinta. This 40-acre gated community is perfect for families and forever friends, with 12 swimming pools, 11 hot tubs, and a splash area for kids. The secured and manicured grounds are insta-ready, boasting water fountains, mountain views, and palm tree shaded pathways teeming with rosemary, bougainvillea, desert flora, and citrus trees.
Our home’s location within the community is the best of both worlds, quietly nestled towards the back, up against the desert mountains, away from all the hubbub at the front main pools and community clubhouse. At the same time, our home is located right next to one of the less-crowded family pools, with easy access from our side gate. Ours is a single story ranch, so there are no noisy neighbors above or below. Other than a short step up from the attached two-car garage, there are no stairs to climb. Our front door features a slow and easy ramp from the front walk for those who need assistance.
As soon as you walk in the door, you walk into the good life. The Living Room features a relaxed L-shaped couch with queen pull-out sofabed with memory foam mattress. Two comfy armchairs lean all. the. way. back, perfect for afternoon naps. Have a watch party on the Xumo-enabled 60” TV with cable. “One-touch” gas fireplace, and old school board games welcome family and friends to gather together for screen-free nights. Ceiling Fans in all rooms and a robust HVAC system keeps everyone comfortable. Free WiFi (500+mpbs) keeps everyone connected.
Our outdoor patio gets the morning sun, but soon becomes shaded as the sun moves across the sky. Enjoy reading your favorite book on one of the two outdoor armchairs while keeping tabs on the kiddos at the pool. BBQ your favorite eats on the Infrared Charbroil grill. Enjoy dining al fresco at the outdoor patio table. Three-foot high pony walls and an iron gate provide a semi-private, enclosed outdoor space, good for little tykes and well-behaved dogs (Note: Itty-bitty dogs like chihuahuas may still be able to squeeze between the gate posts!)
Our fully equipped kitchen provides the tools you need to prepare simple family meals at home, including a 4-burner gas stove/oven with built-in microwave, full-size refrigerator/freezer with ice and filtered water dispenser, and non-toxic Tri-Ply Stainless Steel cookware. Dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, tea kettle, and blender. Solid Granite countertops. All kitchenware, dinnerware, glassware, and silverware provided. A counter-height breakfast bar connects the kitchen to the Living Room area.
Legacy Villas is a private, gated, condo community with 24-hour security at the main gate. Vacation rental guests have free access to all 12 swimming pools and 11 outdoor jetted hot tubs scattered throughout 40-acres of landscaped grounds. The main clubhouse includes use of the state-of-the-art fitness center, outdoor fireplaces, hammock garden, picnic tables, poolside cabanas, shared community gas BBQs, as well as a quiet lounge in the clubhouse with high-ceilings and comfy couches. The grounds are interlaced with shimmering fountains, walking paths, and desert gardens bursting with bougainvillea, rosemary bushes, flowering cacti, and citrus trees. The poolside Legacy Grill is open during the high season with limited hours. The community is located next door to the historic La Quinta Resort.
PGA championship-level golf courses and top-tier tennis clinics just a few minutes away. 3 miles to Indian Wells Tennis Garden. 5 miles to the Empire Polo grounds. 20 miles to Palm Springs. Less than an hour’s drive to Joshua Tree, Idyllwild, or the Salton Sea. For families, Palm Desert’s Living Desert Zoo, La Quinta’s Tony Hawk approved X Skateboard Park, and Rancho Mirage’s interactive Children’s Discovery Museum are just a short drive away. DINING AREA: Dining Table utilizes one long bench on one side, allowing seating for six (6) adults, or four (4) adults and four (4) small children. Bar-height stools at the kitchen counter provide seating for two more adults. Additional outdoor table seats six (6).
LAUNDRY: Dedicated Laundry room with deep laundry sink and Washer/Dryer.

There is an easy walking trail next to the Santa Rosa foothills, which goes around the perimeter of the community (but keep an eye out for rattlesnakes). Downtown La Quinta boasts pet-friendly coffee shops and cafes. There is also doggie daycare and doggie wash services in town. Please note, however, that the HOA does not allow pets inside the gates of the pool areas. Max weight of 30 pounds per pet.
