Welcome to Mesquite Retreat! To ensure a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all guests, we kindly ask that you review and follow these house rules. These rules are part of the rental agreement and must be followed throughout your stay.

🕙 Check-In Time:
Check-in is 3:00 PM.

🐾 Pet Policy:
Pets are allowed only with prior disclosure and approval and require a $100 pet deposit per pet.

No Pets on Furniture: Pets are not allowed on sofas, chairs, or beds.

No Use of Human Bedding: Pets are not allowed on sheets, blankets, or comforters, and house linens may not be used for pets. Please bring your own pet bedding, blankets, and towels.

No bathing pets indoors: Bathing pets in showers or tubs is prohibited. Please bath your pet outside.

Clean Up: Promptly pick up after your pet indoors and outdoors.

Supervision: Pets must not be left unattended unless securely crated. If a crate is brought indoors, guests must provide their own protective mat or blanket underneath to protect flooring.

Noise Control: Please manage barking and noise, especially during quiet hours.

Failure to disclose pets or comply with these rules may result in additional charges, including a $200 unauthorized pet fee, plus any necessary cleaning, linen replacement, or damage costs.

👥 Occupancy & Parking:
Occupancy: Maximum of 2 adults per bed, with a maximum of 6 adults. Children under 12 are not considered adults. Per city ordinance, maximum occupancy is 10 total guests.

Parking: On-street parking is limited to 2 vehicles for more than 24 hours. Please park directly in front of the property following traffic flow, or in the driveway behind the property. Do not park on permeable surfaces, as this may result in city citations.

City Rule: In Mesquite, parking is prohibited within 10 feet of a mailbox on public streets Monday–Saturday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, to ensure mail delivery.

🎉 Events & Quiet Hours:
No Parties or Events: Commercial events, parties, or large gatherings are not allowed.

Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM. Please keep noise to a minimum and comply with all city noise, traffic, and nuisance regulations.

🔥 Grill & Fireplace Use:
Grill: Propane use only and must be supervised at all times. Use 10 feet away from the home. Never leave unattended and ensure fully extinguished after use.

Indoor Fireplace: Decorative only. Not for use under any circumstances.

🗑️ Trash & Plumbing:
Trash Collection: Monday and Thursday. Dispose of trash in the bin behind the house and place it by the alley only on collection days.

Plumbing: Flush toilet paper and natural waste only. Do not flush wipes, feminine products, paper towels, or other items.

Grease Disposal: Do not pour grease down the drain. Collect it in a container, allow it to solidify, and dispose of it in the trash.

🚭 Smoking:
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the home.

⚡ Energy, Safety & Security:
Conserve Energy: Turn off lights when not in use.
Security: Before leaving, ensure all doors and windows are locked.

🕙 Check-Out Time:
Check-out is by 10:00 AM.
Before departure, please lock up the property, place trash in the designated bin, collect used towels and place them in the washer and collect dirty dishes and place them in the dishwasher (guests do not need to start the wash cycle).

Rule Enforcement Notice:
Failure to follow these house rules may result in additional charges for cleaning, repairs, or damages. Serious or repeated violations may result in termination of the reservation without refund and removal from the property, in accordance with platform policies and local regulations.
