Waterfront Neubau am wunderschönen Lake Chatuge!

Unser 4 Schlafzimmer, 3 Bäder Haus bietet viel Platz für Versammlungen von Familie und Freunden. Mit zwei Schlafzimmern auf der Hauptebene und zwei weiteren im geräumigen Kellergeschoss bietet das Haus Platz für bis zu 8 Personen. Frische, moderne Einrichtung, neue Möbel (einschließlich Tuft & Needle-Matratzen) und eine voll ausgestattete Küche sind nur einige der Annehmlichkeiten, die Sie genießen werden. Das Hauptschlafzimmer mit Blick auf den See verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett, luxuriöse Bettwäsche, einen Flachbild-TV und ein eigenes Bad mit ebenerdiger Dusche und freistehender Badewanne. Die Schlafzimmer 2 und 3 verfügen über Queensize-Betten und ein Gemeinschaftsbad, während das Schlafzimmer 4 am See über zwei Einzelbetten verfügt. Alle Zimmer sind auf maximalen Komfort ausgelegt und verfügen über 400 Laken, Daunendecken und Bettwäsche oder organische Bettdecken.

Der gewölbte Hauptwohnbereich ist um einen Kamin herum angeordnet und ist ein perfekter Ort, um sich mit einem Buch, einer Tasse Tee oder einem geliebten Menschen zu entspannen. Die Morgen- und Abenddämmerung genießen Sie am besten vom überdachten Achterdeck mit Blick auf den See und einem Gasgrill für Feste im Freien. Eine offene Küche mit riesiger Insel bietet zusätzliche Sitzplätze zum Essen und ist ein einladender Platz zum Kochen, Sammeln und Entspannen. Der geräumige Speisesaal ist ideal für Familien-Abendessen und Frühstück und bietet viel Platz zum Ausbreiten und Arbeiten - wenn Sie müssen - während Sie hier sind. Im Kellerzimmer der Familie herrscht das Indoor-Entertainment ... Ein großer TV-Bildschirm, eine Tischtennisplatte und ein geräumiges Sofageschirr laden zum Entspannen nach einem Tag auf dem See oder zur Erkundung von Nordgeorgien ein. zieh ein Brettspiel aus, leihe dir ein Buch aus - oder melde dich an und genieße dein Netflix - Konto - für einen gemütlichen Abend in. Kabel-TV und WLAN sind im gesamten Haus verfügbar. Wachen Sie mit Kaffee auf dem Achterdeck auf und verbringen Sie Ihre Tage beim Schwimmen, Bootfahren, Kajakfahren oder Angeln am See oder beim Lesen in der Hängematte. Und bringen Sie Ihre Marshmallows und genießen Sie coole Abende an der Feuerstelle im Freien mit Blick auf den See!

Unser Haus liegt nur wenige Minuten von Hiawassee entfernt, so dass Lebensmittel und Gas immer in der Nähe sind. Die kleine etablierte Nachbarschaft ist ruhig und die meisten unserer Nachbarn sind Teilzeit-Bewohner, also wenn Sie nach Ruhe suchen, haben Sie es gefunden. Ein Boot haben? Verbinde dich mit unserem privaten Bootsdock! Kein Boot? Genießen Sie eines unserer Kajaks oder Bellyaks oder werfen Sie einfach eine Schnur ins Wasser vom Schwimmdeck. Bootsverleih ist in der Nähe für den Tag und den halben Tag verfügbar - wir empfehlen Ihnen, einen zu mieten und alle Ecken und Winkel des schönen Lake Chatuge zu erkunden.

Diverse Details: Parken ist für zwei Autos vorgesehen. Das Haus ist komplett beheizt und klimatisiert und Bettwäsche / Handtücher sind vorhanden. Über uns: Wir sind eine vierköpfige Familie und sind Vollzeit-Bewohner von Asheville, NC. Wir haben uns im Laufe von mehreren Jahren Camping- und Ferienaufenthalten in den See Chatuge verliebt. Wir haben 2017 den Sprung zu einer eigenen Immobilie mit dem Traum gemacht, etwas Schönes, Funktionelles und Bequemes zu bauen, damit wir es mit unseren kleinen Töchtern, Großfamilie und Freunden jetzt und in Zukunft genießen können. Wir freuen uns, es mit Ihnen zu teilen.

Dieses Gebiet von Georgia ist für seine Berge und Seen bekannt. Möglichkeiten zum Wandern, Angeln, Schwimmen und Mountainbiken sind reichlich vorhanden. Der Appalachian Trail führt durch Hiawassee, eine malerische Stadt mit süßen Geschäften und Restaurants. Wir lieben dieses Gebiet wegen seiner landschaftlichen Schönheit, dem langsameren Leben und der Vielzahl von Outdoor-Möglichkeiten. Es ist wirklich ein wunderbarer Ort, um von allem wegzukommen!

A wonderful place to relax

The property was clean and actually nicer in person than the photos on VRBO. We loved the house layout, the peaceful dock, comfortable beds, and the fire pit. Location is a quick few minutes into Hiawassee where we grabbed groceries to grill on the very nice deck at the lake house.

Beautiful, comfortable home to spend a few days with our college-age kids on their fall break. It was a bit chilly out, so we didn’t really take advantage of the lake unfortunately. Perfect cottage lake house

This house and property were exactly as promised! Everything was so beautiful and well kept. We absolutely loved the back patio area and also the fire pit we used most nights. The dock was perfect for the boat we rented and Lake Chatuge is stunning! We will definitely be back to this wonderful modern cottage!

Wonderful lake get away

The house was perfect - open, airy, clean, well-stocked, beautifully decorated, comfortable. Such easy access to the lake. My son said that he "wants to leave there"! Just be careful to not lock yourselves out on the upstairs balcony/deck!

Perfect for family weekend getaway

Very spacious house, well laid out and very comfortable. We made several meals in the well equipped kitchen which was great, even had a large dining room table to enjoy. Ping-pong table in the basement was a big hit! Weather was also good enough to still enjoy the lake, (paddle boarding and kayaking) and even though the lake level is down for the winter, you could still easily access it from the end of the dock.

This is the second time we are here and just love the house and location. House has great amenities with lots of space for everyone to sleep and enjoy their stay. This home has a boat dock so we were able to rent a boat at Boundary Waters Marina and were able to bring the boat to the house. Quiet cove to hang out on the dock. We would rent here again!!

Enjoyable relaxing vacation

We stayed as a family of 5 and had an enjoyable and relaxing time. The home is exactly as pictured with all amenities needed. There was plenty of room to spread out. We played games, went kayaking, baked cookies and brownies and most of our meals. The home was located in an area with a short drive to town We will definitely be back for a future visit.

Most Relaxing Vacation!

We loved staying at this gorgeous home for the past week. It is so relaxing being on the lake and living in a quiet neighborhood. The house is unbelievably clean and well-kept; you will not be disappointed. The kids loved using the ping pong table in the basement, and the 2 kayaks on the lake. The porch was a great place to sit with family and play cards, eat dinner, and have conversations. We had a lot of fun and would definitely come again!

We had a blast!

Your home is gorgeous and we loved every minute! It’s so close to everything - steps from the lake and kayaking, minutes from boat rentals, tubing, ziplining, ropes courses, etc. Yet, it’s so quiet and peaceful. Our kids were sufficiently worn out from the lake every day, but they still managed to play table tennis each night! The kitchen was great and rooms were so spacious! We will definitely be back!

We rented a ski boat at Boundary Waters Marina and utilized the kayaks and bellyak at the house. They also had 2 adult life jackets and 2 youth life jackets and some floats. The kids had so much fun swimming in the lake and paddling around. We also had a great time using the fire pit in the evenings as well. The house is well stocked with everything we needed. It was incredibly clean and beds were really comfortable. We will definitely come back again. We also loved going up to Bell Mountain and looking at the beautiful views. It’s such a pretty place to stay and fun for all ages.

Girls Trip

We are a group of 7 retired ladies from Florida looking for an escape from the Florida’s summer heat. This beautiful home was the perfect base for our hikes, wine tastings, lake activities, board games, etc. Everyone in the group loved the house and its beautiful decor. We enjoyed the easy access to the lake via the home’s private dock. The dock also made a fun spot for the group’s morning Pilates workout.

Beautiful Bare-minimum lake house

The house is gorgeous, the location is great and the lake cove beautiful. However we nicknamed the house bare-minimum, none of the 4 bedrooms have dressers (having to live out of our luggage of the floor giving it the feel of hostel stay) all the furniture and decor is very bare-minimum, giving the stay a cold vague vibe, not cozy or homey at all.

Sylvie, Thanks for booking and for your feedback. It’s true, the home decor is modern and minimalist, just as it is depicted in the photographs. However, just to clarify for other guests, all bedrooms have closets with hangers and a bench or shelf on which to place luggage/clothing. The primary bedroom also has drawers in the base of the bed to accommodate clothing. We supply all towels and linens, and stock the kitchen with all the necessities, so I’m surprised you felt like this was the bare minimum. I am happy to hear that you liked the location and our cove though, and we do hope you enjoyed your time in North Georgia! Tanya

Amazing views. Magical memories.

Eternally grateful for the pleasure of staying at your cabin. Indescribably beautiful; perfect for our Christmas/New Year with the family. Tanya has thought of everything! The mattresses were so comfortable, soft sheets, everyone slept so well. Cabin decor was perfect, everything as pictured. Nothing will beat the view of the lake.... gorgeous! Gas grill worked perfect. Fire lakeside to roast marshmallows. Thank you again. Such a lovely place.

Lake Chatuge is special

Everything was wonderful. Just as promised. Very effiecient house for our family. We did have a major problem though.. when I went to book again for next August ..they are already booked! I am so sad! this home will be very popular.. Thank you Tanya for a special week with our family.

Wonderful house! Highly recommend!

We loved staying at this house. We booked it for my boyfriend’s birthday. We planned to have a lake weekend and rent a boat. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate for the boat but the house more than made up for not being able to get out on the water. The house is beautifully decorated and has a great layout. We especially enjoyed the downstairs living room and ping pong table. Tanya was wonderful to work with and very quick to respond. We loved it so much we wanted to book it again for Memorial Day but it’s already booked. Would highly recommend renting this house if you are planning a lake weekend at Chatuge Lake!

Fantastic Family Vacation!

We called it Lake Escape 2024, but we also could call it Fantastic! This rental provided everything we needed for grandparents, kids and toddler grandkids. We’ve stayed in a lot of vacation rentals, but never one so thoughtfully and thoroughly stocked—dish liquid, laundry supplies, all linens including lake towels, hand soaps, toilet tissue, paper towels, etc.—and not just sample or starter sizes! Although we brought kayaks and lake toys/floats from home, the house offers that too! Roomy, tastefully decorated spaces inside gave us areas to be together, but also areas to chill out and nap. We made good use of the fire pit and daily use of the dock. We all had such a good time. One of the grandsons said it best—“We come back here soon?”

We purchased the lot on Schaefer Circle in the fall of 2017 with the dream of building something beautiful, functional and comfortable for us to enjoy with our young daughters, extended family and friends now and for years to come. We love the serene quietude of Lake Chatuge. We are mountain and lake people and feel more centered and happy surrounded by trees, mountains and natural beauty. The slower pace of life in Hiawassee and the natural beauty and abundant outdoor options of N. Georgia drew us to this area and have us coming back year after year.

This home was custom built by local builders, Brown Haven Homes, and as such we were able to pick the perfect floor plan, size and finishes to suit our taste and provide a timeless, beautiful space for ourselves and our guests. Charles is a real estate agent, and Tanya works in interior design and home furnishings, so homes and decor are woven into the fabric of our lives. This is the second custom home we have built together. Every aspect of this home was thought out for maximum comfort, enjoyment and relaxation at the lake. Our goal was to make it serene and lovely inside, durable and functional outside, and allow the gorgeous lake to steal the show. We plan to enjoy it for many years to come.
