93m2 Haus Cottage auf zwei Etagen. Im Erdgeschoss befinden sich 2 Schlafzimmer, eines mit einem Queensize-Bett und das andere mit 2 Einzelbetten. Das Badezimmer ist gut ausgestattet mit einer Waschmaschine, einem Trockner und einer großen Dusche. Das Wohnzimmer ist geräumig und verfügt über einen TV, einen DVD-Player und einen Esstisch für 6 Personen. Es gibt eine moderne Küche mit eingebautem Geschirrspüler. Es gibt eine große Terrasse, die 3 Seiten des Hauses abdeckt. In der oberen Etage finden Sie einen Schlafboden mit einem Queensize-Bett sowie 2 Matratzen, wenn Sie zusätzliche Gäste haben. Der Dachboden hat auch eine Vielzahl von Kinderspielzeug. In einem Abstellraum im Freien befindet sich ein Babybett und die Matratze dafür befindet sich auf dem Dachboden.

Lovely cottage in an incredible location.

The cottage was lovely and spacious. Communication was great including a nice guide to the area. The views were absolutely spectacular. Wish we could have stayed longer. If we ever make it back to Iceland we’ll definitely try to stay again.

A Perfect Stay!

Our family of 6 had a perfect stay in Arnarstapi. Plenty of space for our large family, excellent kitchen, and close to so many sites in the Snaefellsnes peninsula. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed for our stay! We hope to visit again, soon! Thank you for your hospitality.

Absolutely perfect!

The property was perfect, it was very clean and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The views were second to none and we had northern light shows almost every night. Checking in and out was easy and the owner communicated clearly and made the process very easy. If you are visiting Iceland I highly recommend Arnarstapi and the surrounding peninsula. I am 100% planning to return to Iceland very soon and I will be staying at this cabin again. We spent a few nights in another part of Iceland and this cabin was our favorite, it was like being at home.

Warm views of Snaefells

The peninsula was windy and snowy, but the house was warm, and our 7 and 5 year old enjoyed the playroom after a day or exploring.

Great cottage and great location

This was a great location and great property for our first two nights in Iceland. We were three friends traveling together. The property provided exactly what we wanted for the start of our trip. Wonderful end to our Iceland experience

It was a wonderful way to end our two week adventure in Iceland. Easy access to Kirkjufell and Londrangar as well as the surrounding area plus there are several beautiful walks right out the front door. The home is well equipped and clean. Would stay again for sure.

Beautiful cottage!

My husband and I spent a night at the cottage and had an absolutely wonderful stay. Every detail was beautifully considered, and the cottage was warm and cozy. Our hosts communicated everything to us in advance, and reminders are clearly printed inside, so we had no issues. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. We highly recommend it!

GREAT place!!

This place was just what we were looking for. The hosts were awesome and attentive to questions, etc. We went for two nights in January (my husband, 12 year old son and I) and LOVED it!! The house/cabin was fantastic -clean, beautiful, had "extras" like spices, etc in the cabinet (alot of VRBOs you buy all of that for only a week). The beds were comfortable and WARM. We had two incredible nights of AURORA right from the deck of the house. I could not be more pleased. I highly recommend this rental!!

Arnastapi Delight

This cottage and its location exceeded our expectations! A wonderful example of a Nordic cottage that is truly a second home for Olafur and his family. Very clean and beautifully appointed, it was a wonderful base for our Snaefellsnes Peninsula exploration. It is. within short walking distance of the Arnastapi to Hellnar cliff walk and harbor views. Its location, at the base of Stapafell and with views of Snaefellsjokull, is beautiful. It is within a short driving distance of many sites on the peninsula, and is an easy drive - 2.5 hours - from Reykjavik. Our stay was truly memorable!

Lovely cottage in a fantastic location

This cottage was very comfortable in a very good location with both ocean and mountains in sight. The rooms were clean and comfortable and had washer and dryer that worked. All things were provided to use the kitchen. Only one complaint is the restroom shower was small and had poor water flow so could not take a shower properly else everything else was good. The driveway to home had a bunch of potholes so drive with care while you enter. Also minor issues were the keypad where keys are kept may need to be replaced as it was difficult to open to get keys out.

Amazing Cottage with Ocean and Mountain Views

This was our favorite place to stay in Iceland. The town of Arnarstapi is peaceful, and the location and views can't be beat. One thing to note - you can see the ocean from this cottage! Views of the ocean on one side, and a glacier topped mountain view from the other side just can't be beat. The cottage was easy to check-in with a lock box, and was super clean. There is a no shoes policy inside, which we love since we do the same at our home. The cottage had everything we needed to cook meals, and do laundry while we were there (very nice since this was in the middle of our trip). The bed is really comfortable, and has all linens, towels, etc. that we needed. It was decorated very nice - and we loved the local rocks collected that were displayed in the window. The host was easy to communicate with, and was very helpful during our stay. We absolutely loved staying at this cottage and will definitely stay again next time we are in Iceland!
