Spent summers on Crystal Lake as a kid and still have family there, many of them we visited with on this trip. If you are new to the area some of our favorite things to do are: Get some smoked fish at the Smokehouse in Frankfort & eat a fried perch lunch there too; rent a boat for 4 hours and cruise the lake; go to the lookout on M22 on the way to Arcadia and climb to the top - it's worth it; eat at The Manitou - be sure and take home a box of Cherry Hut Pies for your family and friends.

Everything was as expected. Proximity to Crystal Lake Beach was great! We enjoyed several local eateries that were easy to walk to. This location is centrally located for easy travel to Leelanau, Traverse City & Frankfort.

The Stone Cottage in Beulah, MI was absolutely wonderful!! My kids and I had a blast and the place is soooooo comfortable. It's like staying at your very own vacation home!! It has all the little things you want and need at the beach, and the owner couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. Highly recommend her and her place.

Family Summer Trip

Location is excellent--right on main street and a block over from beach. Can walk for coffee, shopping and to view sunsets. Close to other activities--Lake Michigan beaches, miniature golfing, swimming, tubing, Sleeping Bear Dunes, shopping and good restaurants. Parking no problem at all the entire week that we were there. Check in and communication with owner was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

Old low furniture in LR. Needs update.Poor mattresses,hard in MBR,twin uneven, rolled toward wall. Thermostat for back bedroom and furnace did not work. No note stating that, but electric heaters in bedrooms not safe to use. No smoke detectors in bedrooms. The only smoke detector was in kitchen area. door for the battery open and no battery in detector. three pillows in the queen bedroom no pillowcases only just pillow protectors.. only five mugs in the cupboard for coffee. Spoke with host two days prior to arriving and were told we could use the furnace as we were bringing an elderly person with us. Never told that only the front furnace was working. no directions on how to even use the TV were available. each morning we were woke up hearing people above walking around and the floors creaking. need some TLC, especially for this kind of price as there were two special fees attached to what is advertised for the nightly rate. cleaning was fair.

We're sorry the mattress in the master bedroom didn't suit you, especially for your mom, and we're looking into replacing it. There's one furnace serving the home with a single thermostat, and the bedroom heaters are a newer added convenience; we've since placed a sign by the second thermostat to avoid any confusion going forward. All smoke detectors are working and have batteries, with the kitchen unit placed just outside the bedroom door per electrician guidance, and we change batteries every spring to keep the home safe for guests.

We thoroughly LOVED Stone Cottage. Such a beautiful home and the layout of rooms and beds were perfect for our family. It had everything we needed. The location of the house was perfect also. Right by the shops and 1 block from the beach. The weather was perfect and the beach was clean and has several shade trees. We kept repeating all week “This place is perfect”. Thank you to Suzie, the owner, and Evolve for the perfect vacation.

Beulah Stone Cottage

Five of us stayed on a family vacation. The location was great for touring, especially in the Sleeping Bear Dunes. We also enjoyed visiting the various businesses in Beulah. The information provided by the host was excellent. All in all we agreed that this was a great place to go on our vacation.

Nice location

Roomy cottage in great location. Just a block from restaurants and shops. Wonderful deck. Well-equipped kitchen. Property was clean but living room carpet was quite stained and couch was very soft. Host was very helpful

Beautiful home

Our family had a wonderful week at Stone Cottage. The property is 1 block from downtown and the lake. Beulah offers small town charm and Crystal Lake is clear and a vivid blue. The newly renovated cottage provided plenty of room for 5 adults and is close to Franfort and Sleeping Bear Dunes Park. The owner, Suzie, was gracious and helpful. Would strongly recommend this cottage for families looking for a beautiful, quiet vacation close to a stunning lake.

really liked this place owner couldnt have been nicer. We had a three year old with us and the neighbors dogs were noisy. so therefore not the best place for toddlers if you plan on getting sleep. our little guy does not sleep deeply so it was a problem with him and mom. overall we would rent this place again but maybe put the little one in the other bedroom

Great little town close to many beautiful areas

We had a great trip! House was perfect for our family! We loved how close crystal lake is to the house. Very shot walk! We visited Frankfurt, sleeping bear dunes while we were there! Susie is such a sweet host and made you feel right at home!

Great Location

My husband and I and 2 teen agers fit comfortably. we brought our deck boat and enjoyed Crystal lake. The house was clean and stocked well. The boat ramp and public beach was 2 blocks away and a wonderful parking lot for our boat and trailer. we took day trips to Sleeping bear dunes only 20 min. away.

Amazing location

The house was large enough for our family of five to move about comfortably. It had everything we needed. The fenced in patio area was great for the kids to run around a little. It was a quick block away walk to the beautiful beach. The host was accessible and super friendly. The town and restaurants were fervent for a small town. Loved it
