Perfect!

This neighborhood is lovely! The ladies at check-in are very nice and I love that they have security at the gate. Having the beach setup included was a wonderful bonus. Snack bar has great fish tacos! This rental was small but perfect for my daughter and I. Everything was clean and comfy. Zero to complain about and I would happily stay here again.

Fun in the Sun

We arrived in Destin on a Monday afternoon. The property was well maintained and just what we saw on line. The beach was literally right across the street, 3-4 min walk. We were at the beach every day enjoying the sun and water. We will be back again next year!!!

Quick Vacay

We really enjoyed the location close to the beach and the unit was nice and clean. The bed, however, was terrible. New and better mattress is needed. Both of us would wake up in a lot of discomfort the next morning and would be very tired from not getting enough sleep.

The location I loved. The interior needs some tweaking. Rusty fridge. Floor rotting at hallway by kitchen. Beef was comfy. Some work needed on bed itself but mattress was good, but frame needs covered. All I all i Liked your place just needs TLC

The condo needs updating really bad,tracks on bottom of closet doors rusty,their was a big stain on the couch and the floor was not mopped,I walked around in white socks when I first got there and they were filthy on the bottom from walking on the foors.I would not stay here again.

Check in was easy and fast. Unit is VERY close to the beach and a very short walk like 3 mins or less. Perfect location. Bc the pool is right in front of your unit. The only fault I have with check in was that the lady told me that our unit came with two chairs and one umbrella at the beach, and we can go early to reserve them. They don’t open til 9 am. So the best thing to do is get there at 8:30, put your stuff in the chairs and then get in line for the ticket to reserve that chairs you got. Don’t go too early bc they don’t open until 9.The beds are not the best.The pullout sofa is AWFUL!!! We had to go get a mattress pad for it. We left it rolled up in the top of the closet. The pullout bed from the wall isn’t the best either, but it’s better than the sofa. It’s perfect for a small family of 4 no more….quick beach trip. Everything else was perfect. The location and the resort is nice and very safe.Over all I give this place a 8/10 with the bed situation being the minus 2.

Short Beach Visit

The condo facility had lots of amenities. They may have the best pickleball courts in Destin as of 2-24-24. They have several pools and hot tubs. We had a short walk to the beach and loved it. I would have appreciated more communication before we arrived. I had no idea how to check-in. Upon arrival, there was a gate house that explained the process. Our lock was difficult because they switched it without telling the gate house but the men were good about finding the right code and letting us in. Our condo was fine. The condo above must have had problems with the plumbing because the smell affected our unit near the end of our stay. The people at the condos were very nice and it had a relaxed atmosphere. I would return.

Spring Break

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a great trip. The lady in the office was very rude over the phone and in person when we went to settle up. She basically told us we had to stop what we were doing when we were told differently. Very rough with her words and was almost yelling at me over the phone. Never once apologized to us for the misunderstanding. Acted like it was our fault. The property was in a great location. This is our second time to stay at SandPiper Cove. Only negative with the property is there isn't a lot of storage space, no dresser or even a closet with shelving like the last one we stayed at. My only suggestion would be more space to store our clothes, toiletries so we can put away the suitcases. Other than that it was very cozy and easy access to the beach by far. Loved the beach service! That was a plus.

Not what we expected

So soon arrival place instantly smelled of dampness I know it’s close to the beach but still had instant feel of a cheap motel. So first thing was while I was in the shower my wife decided to to pull down the non disclosed Murphy bed to sleep on while I was getting ready. So with no instructions or WARNINGS on OR AROUND THE BED OR ANYWHERE IN THE UNIT to be cautious when pulling down!! So she starting to ease the bed down and it’s starts to come down about a foot and it turns loose slams her in the face and arm causing a black eye and awful bruise on her arms we have pic of it all!! So now we are on our anniversary and she looks like she’s been fighting full contact boxing . So we cancel our appointment to have picture made. Then we called more than on eve to ask about exchanging linens and got someone one time and were told we could get an exchange but that never came so we had to spend our money to wash there sheets towels and wash rags . Then one evening while sitting on the porch of the race track of a so called quite unit my wife and i were swarmed with bugs and bit all over . We did have a citronella candle burning . So by time check out came you could say we were more than ready to check out . Also the counters were dirty and had coffee and drink stains on the . The bed had human body hair in it from go so we had to change the sheets from moment one on the also rock hard pull out bed . So watch out people my wife almost lost her eye 1/4” more it was gone

We absolutely loved our stay! The size of our condo was perfect for just my husband and I. Awesome location for those who love the beach AND pickleball! Easy walk to both spots. Staff was super friendly and the check in process was a breeze. We also loved eating at the Sand Flea. We had a wonderful time and plan on visiting again as soon as possible!

It was to cold for the pool, it was beautiful though There was no views of the ocean but the stay was phenomenal. Room clean, beds could be a lot softer. The ocean was just a short walk across the street. It was a Great stay for the money.

The unit was clean and cozy. This studio size is just big enough for two people and a small dog. This unit you can see the beach from. Easy walk across the street to the private beach area. (No pets allowed) The community is set off from the main highway. It has multiple pools and alot of green space for my dog. And there is everything close by. Really the only downfall we experienced was that the neighbors upstairs had heavy feet.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit was beautiful and accomodating. We stayed for 2 nights after we decided to extend our stay and so had to switch one room over. Glad we did because it was very beachy oriented and felt very relaxing. The kitchen had everything we needed and oberall clean. The only thing I can say needed some upgrading was the sofa bed as you can feel the metal rod and is not comfortable at all. The actual queen size bed itself was also not very comfortable. Give it a 7.5 out of 10.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, and the staff was wonderful. The only complaint we have is the bed was too small and you could feel the springs. Other than the bed issue, everything else was perfect.

Need to renovate

I wanna start with the front desk forgetting to give us the key to the condo and had mentioned a code that did not apply to us at all. This is our first time being here so we really did not know. The floor was uneven and warped. It was difficult to sleep because the sounds the ice machine and people upstairs. It was very outdated. The pulling bed up is so outdated. One of the coffee cups was not clean. The condo just felt unclean to me. The only features we did like was the shower was roomy, the balcony was nice,the designated poo spots for pets (and owners actually picked up theirpoo) and the people at the main gate were friendly. We cleaned prior to leaving and we did have sand on the floor when we entered. I feel the bathroom having the extra step is definitely a safety precaution with sand on the floor and uneven floors. I would not recommend Sandpiper Cove and wished we had at least rented out on property that was on the beach and maybe my money would have been worth it.

Mosquito/Fly Infested/Overpriced

Our first encounter with room 8105, was when the entry code did not work and we could not get into our room. We went back to the lobby and they gave us a key to the unit, but the key did not even fit the lock. So we went back to the lobby and they searched for another key until they found a key that actually opened the door. And then the room was not very clean, so we cleaned our way through the room.....the wash clothes that we used for cleaning were filthy from the baseboard grime. Later that night we noticed the room had little flying mosquitoes and flying no-see-ums. And we did not leave the windows or doors open. The bugs seemed to be coming out of the AC unit or the sinks. And the springs on the pull out sofa bed were practically collapsed. Most uncomfortable nights sleep ever.
