Neu renoviert, neue Küche und Bad. Driftwood ist eine Vereinigung von 15 Hütten und war früher als Ocean View Park Campground and Cottages bekannt und beliebt.
Ungebrochene Panorama-Meerblick von jedem Zimmer des Hauses. In diesem charmanten, kürzlich renovierten, komplett eingerichteten Ferienhaus mit zwei Schlafzimmern im neuen Viertel Driftwood erwarten Sie Strand und der berühmte Popham Beach. Bitte beachten Sie, dass dieses Ferienhaus in einer Eigentumswohnung-Vereinigung mit gemeinsamem Zugang ist. Das renovierte Cottage liegt nur wenige Schritte von Pophams sieben Meilen langem weißen Sandstrand entfernt und bietet eine spektakuläre Aussicht auf die Leuchttürme Seguin und Pond Island. Bootfahren, Angeln und andere Freizeit- und Kulturangebote in den nahegelegenen Städten Bath und Brunswick.

This cozy cottage is in the beautiful town of Phippsburg, next to the break-taking beach of Popham State Park. With its site on the ocean shore, the sound of waves soothes your soul, and the beach lends all kinds of opportunities for exploring both at low tide and high tide. Our host and hostess were very responsive to our needs, and my daughter and I greatly enjoyed out stay.

The cottage location was beautiful, we had a wonderful time on the beach. The cottage could have been a little more clean than it was, but after letting the property owner know she addressed those issues.

Perfect Mother’s Day weekend

Absolutely beautiful location. Deb was very fast to respond and incredibly accommodating. My old dog loved being able to come with us . It was wonderful to be able to access the beach , fort and island so easily with three young kids . We saw a triple rainbow over the ocean our first evening there Cannot wait to return.

Popham Beach

Delightful cottage and location! It really is right on the ocean. Enjoyed walking the beautiful beach, walking over the sandbar to Fox Island at low tide and visiting the small villages of Wiscasset and Damariscotta. It is very dark when walking from the parking lot to the cottage at night so bring your trusty flashlight. Would love to visit this cottage again.

Perfect beach cabin for a relaxing long fall weekend. Very short walk (less than 1 minute) over the dune to the beautiful beach. Need to take stairs/ramp down to the beach, not accessible at peak high tide, but this isn't a problem. Long beatiful beach, perfect for walking the dog, or a run to Fort Baldwin. Downtown Bath is about 25 minutes away, lots of shops, grocery, coffee, etc. Perfect space for our Bernese Mountain Dog - we even joined the annual Berner's in Bath gathering! Cabin was a bit chilly in October, as expected, but the gas heater removed the chill. Sunrise from the bedroom window is a must see!! Bedroom, bathroom, kitchen were well equiped and very clean - a bit of sand near the front door in unavoidable. Wonderful stay, thank you to our hosts!

Relaxation on the Beach

Popham Beach is amazing! As a busy professional, I have needed some time to relax and recharge. Although the weather wasn’t as cooperative as I hoped, being rather cold and windy the first days and rainy on the third, it meant I had the beach basically to myself each day when I ventured out. Not spending all day on the beach also gave me time to visit some of the nearby attractions, such as Fort Popham, the Maine Maritime Museum, the Botanical Gardens, and the Wiscasset Antiques Mall. I highly recommend staying at the cottage on Popham Beach during the shoulder season when you need a little peace and quiet!

Amazing views of the best beach in Maine

It doesn’t get any better…… the beach, sounds of the waves crashing 24/7, and an adorable beach cottage. Deb and Jim are pros, the cottage is super clean and very well stocked. I appreciated that the linens and towels were supplied and having access to a washer and dryer is wonderful! We will be back for sure!!

Most amazing views!

Our stay here was exactly what I was looking for. Quiet, serene, and it nourished my soul. The cottage was spotless and was equipped with everything I needed to cook meals with. Linens were crisp and cozy. The gas grill was antiquated and therefore inoperable, but I was informed a new one was on the way. Hearing the waves crash from our cottage was a delight. Our puppers loved the walks on the beach towards the fort and back, daily, as did we. Not a lot of restaurants near by, we were there just before Memorial Day so it suggested we were off season, the ones that were close enough, closed rather early. It's good to call ahead or check the web for details. Having the fireplace took the chill out of the few brisk nights and made things cozy. The stars at night? Well, let me tell you, I saw more stars because of the remote dark skies and they were literally outstanding! I found this entire experience to be one that I want to repeat again and again. Thank you Deb and Jon for our stay.

relax, refresh, renew

Once again I had a wonderful time at the cabin with two of my dogs. I love staying at the end of the season when we have a chance to see some stormy weather by the fire... what a way to relax. We also got to have a bit of sunshine and warmth and we enjoyed the little deck and the magnificent view. I so appreciate how tidy the cabin is, and I especially enjoy the fireplace when there is a nip in the air. The beech is stunning, the neighbors with their pups were courteous. I appreciate the clarity of the guidelines given for dog owners. For me it is the chance every year to truly unwind with my dogs enjoying the beauty, power, and peace of the ocean in a settling where I don't need to worry about anything.

Truly wonderful!

This beach is amazing! I’ll never go to the Cape again after discovering this little hidden gem. It was perfect for our family - our 2.5 year old and my husband. The place was well appointed and had everything we needed. Highly recommend. This isn’t a place where you can eat out every night and have nightlife but just a very relaxing place directly on the beach. Can’t wait to return!

Amazing location and beautiful cottage

We stayed at driftwood cottage for 4 days and my only regret is that we hadn’t booked more nights ! The location is perfect, on a beautiful beach where we had long walks with our children and our pup. The cottage is very pretty and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The owner was really nice, she always answered our questions within the hour. We will definitely come back !
