Hallo, vielen Dank, dass Sie sich unser Haus in Glen Lake angesehen haben! Wir wünschen, wir könnten jede Woche dort sein, aber da wir es nicht können, hoffen wir, dass Sie kommen und es genauso lieben können wie wir.

DER KALENDER IST JETZT FÜR DEN WINTER 2018-2019 GEÖFFNET. Im Winter können Sie Skifahren im nahe gelegenen West Mountain (15 Minuten) oder im Gore Mountain (45 Minuten).

Der Kalender ist für den SOMMER 2019 geöffnet. Im Mai und bis zum 14. Juni können Sie ab zwei Nächten buchen. Juli und August sind volle Wochenmieten mit einem Samstagwechsel. Bitte beachten Sie, dass es in Glen Lake viele Häuser gibt, die den See säumen und nahe beieinander liegen. Unsere Nachbarn auf beiden Seiten sind ältere Menschen. Sie lieben es, Kinder draußen im See zu sehen und zu hören, aber unser Haus ist definitiv nicht der beste Ort für Gruppen, die große Partys bis spät in die Nacht feiern möchten.

Sie werden sich wie im Wald fühlen, aber der Spaß von Great Escape Park und Lake George ist nur ein paar Kilometer entfernt. In unserem Haus finden Sie alles, was Sie für einen schönen Familienurlaub benötigen, darunter drei Kajaks, ein Tretboot und ein Stand-Up-Paddleboard. Mit so viel zu tun in der Gegend, alles was Sie tun müssen, ist Ihre Energie zu bringen! Die Seepromenade ist breit und hat einen sanften Abhang in den See zum Schwimmen und Wasserspielen. Sie können sogar Ihr eigenes kleines Motorboot mitbringen und es an unserem Dock aufbewahren. Wir lieben es, Marshmallows zu braten und S'Mores zuzubereiten, damit wir am See eine Feuerstelle für Brände im Freien haben.

Unser Haus verfügt über zwei Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss, eines mit Kingsize-Bett und eines mit zwei Einzelbetten und einem Futon. Bitte beachten Sie, dass Sie zum zweiten Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss durch die Ecke des vorderen Schlafzimmers gehen müssen. Wir bieten einen Paravent an, der für mehr Privatsphäre sorgt. Bitte auch nicht, dass es KEIN UPSTAIRS-BAD gibt. Es gibt auch ein kleines Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss mit einem Zweibettzimmer. Eine volle und eine halbe Bad sind auf der Hauptebene. Wir lieben es zu kochen, daher ist die Küche komplett ausgestattet. Es gibt eine wundervolle Terrasse mit überdachtem Picknicktisch, Gasgrill und einer hervorragenden Aussicht.

Weekend getaway

Loved the property. This was our first time renting with vrbo,also first time with lake house. Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The forcast was not promising. But we had a great lake day the last full day of our stay. Pm was a phone call away, i called once and answered right away. House was just as prescribed in add. A perfect family getaway

We truly enjoyed the property all around. A quiet location not far from Lake George. The kitchen stove was top notch and all the extra amenities were super! Beds and couch were comfortable. The kids loved being able to walk out to play and fish off the dock. Unfortunately it was too old to catch anything but there was always hope. We would love to stay again!

Wonderful Fall Getaway

The view of the fall foliage from the property was breath taking! We spent as much time as we could taking it in, kayaking ,paddle boating, to sitting around the fire. The house was roomy enough for six adults and had everything we needed. Meg was very attentive and went above and beyond our expectations. Karl was pleasant and helpful in answering all our questions. We had a great weekend!

Great location

The house is an easy drive to area attractions, but we could have easily entertained ourselves for the entire time without leaving the property. Our kids loved the peddle boat and kayaks, and there's a shallow, sandy area that was great for swimming.

Best Vacation

This was honestly the best family vacation. It was absolutely beautiful to walk outside and be right on the water. Our kids loved playing all day in the water. The house was immaculate and had everything we could ask for. Karl the property manager was awesome and even took us for a tour of the lake on his boat. He was so kind and caring , we felt so welcomed. Meg we couldn’t begin to thank you enough for allowing us a chance to stay in your home. We loved every minute of our time there and hated to leave. We hope to get another chance to stay there next year!!

Amazing stay

Our family loved staying here. Its a beautiful setting next to the lake and a cozy and spacious house . The fireplace was great and it had everything we needed for a perfect long weekend. The caretaker and the owner were great and very responsive.

Absolutely amazing place and location!

Everything about our stay was amazing. Beautiful clean property with a perfect location close to anything around Lake George. Property manager Karl was a great help with anything we needed. We highly recommend this property and will hopefully be back next year!

Awesome trip

We had a fantastic vacation on the Lake. There were lots of things to see and do. We especially enjoyed being on the water and went kayaking, peddle boating daily. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed and the location was perfect.

The location of this property was wonderful. It's right near the main road to everything.

The kitchen was great, fully stocked and a nice size. The house itself was a great size, unfortunately we thought the house was dated. The furnishings were eclectic at best. I did not like that the bedrooms were upstairs and the bathrooms were down stairs. Also the fact that there was only one shower was a drawback. This is to bad, because there certainly was enough room to put one in. The outside deck was great, especially with the awning. We did crafts and had breakfast out there. Another issue for us was the random people coming by. The owners rent dock space, so people would pass by us to get to the boat. It felt like an intrusion of our privacy.

Great location, well maintained house, amazing support, all concerns and questions answered promptly

I forgot about bringing my own sheets so that was a little unexpected. Luckily, there’s a Walmart only a few minutes away. The only drawback for us was the fact that the Master bedroom was a walk through for our kids room. Again, it was posted, but I overlooked it. Otherwise, a great time! Fishing off the dock, close to white water rafting, Lake George (boring btw).

Serenity says it best....The view is breathtaking.

The location is perfect...close to everything but feels like a hidden gem. The home is spacious, very clean and very comfortable! If you needed anything the property manager is close by and very helpful. The only thing we wished we had was more time!! If I could make this my home I wouldn't hesitate. Great location and immaculate rental.

We really enjoyed our stay during the Memorial Day weekend. We were very impressed on how very well kept and clean the house and property was. We all enjoyed using the kayaks and fire pit and unplugging from electronics and just enjoying nature is just what we needed!!

Comfortable home in beautiful location

We had a wonderful time at the comfortable, well appointed home with a fantastic view on Glen Lake. We skied and tubed at West Mountain which was a little over 10 minutes away. Karl, the property manager, was friendly and helpful. We would like to return in the summer!

Amazing vacation on Glen Lake!!!

We had a wonderful time at the house on Glen Lake!!! It was even more beautiful than what we imagined from seeing the pictures. The views of the lake from the house are gorgeous, the deck is so relaxing and comfortable, and the adirondack chairs and hammock are also great places to kick back and enjoy the view. We ate most of our meals outside on the deck, in the shade, looking at the water and just feeling great. We used the kayaks every day, as well as the pedal boat, which our 9-year-old daughter loved. We took the pedal boat out into the middle of the lake and jumped into the water right from it, so we really swam wherever we felt like. The water is so clear and a great temperature. We swam multiple times a day. The house itself is very cozy and comfortable. There are books, games, puzzles, and lots of brochures and information about the area. The beds were great and we slept so well. The kitchen is large and has everything you could possibly need or want. We hardly went out to eat, since we loved using the kitchen so much. The bathrooms were also very nice and clean. There's a paved bike path half a mile from the house, which was a surprise to us, and we biked quite a few times right from the property, which was a lot of fun. We also spent two days at Six Flags, and even biked there the second day (taking the bike path most of the way), which was a great way to arrive! We biked to Lake George Village and took a tour boat out on the lake, and went hiking at Pilot's Knob. This was one of the best vacations we've ever had, and by far the best vacation house we've ever rented! We highly recommend it!

Quiet and laid back retreat...Tucked away and yet quick trip takes you to many activities.

My husband and I, along with our friends and their two children stayed for a long weekend. We enjoyed the fire and the deck. The kayaks were a joy! A quiet early morning paddle was a touch of therapy. The location is ideal since it is off the main path but just a few miles from Lake George and even closer to the shopping for rainy days. The set up is great for close friends or a family. Sleeping arrangements are a loft-like king bedroom that you have to walk through to enter the rear room with 2 twin beds and a futon. Not a big deal for "birds of a feather". We discovered a great walking path just down the road late in the trip...wish we could have explored further. A great day long event is a trip to Fort Ticonderoga...What an amazing part of our history! Glen Lake is definitely a gem!

Great amenities

The BEST kept secret..

I travel alot with my kids, and I must say this was hands down the best vacation we ever took. Lake Glen was beautful. The house provied by Meg had everything we needed and more. Not to mention Frank the care taker was there for all and any of our needs (which wasnt much cause they had it all) I cant wait to go back next year. I selfishly dont want to rave about this place cause Id love to keep it a secret..But that wouldnt be fair!!! If your looking for an awesome relaxing week on a beautiful lake this is def the place to go. Its only a few miles from Lake George (which cant compare to Glen Lake). renting places can sometimes be a hassel but Meg made it so easy, and answered all questions. I would reccomnd this property to anyone...just not a bunch of kids looking to party, Keep it family orientated
