We had a great 5 night stay there. House was spacious enough for 10 people. The check-in process was easy. Outdoor pool and hot tub were used quite a bit. Everything we could need in kitchen was there. Absolutely the cleanest place we ever stayed. Every thing in owners description was truly on point. It was our second year staying in South Haven and I’m sure we will be going back next year!

Incredible Weekend & Stay

This home was absolutely perfect!! It had so so much room and fun things to do both in the house and right near the house. Just a short walk away from a stunning view of the bluff and Lake Michigan, especially during sunset hour! The pool and hot tub were amazing additions for the weekend, and it was so cozy overall! I would come back to visit South Haven and stay in this house again! The whole group LOVED it!!

Wonderful for Family Vacation!

The property was perfect for our family! So many fun things to do and the house was so well stocked! The kids (and adults!) enjoyed the pool, hot tub, game room and theater room. There were plenty of toys in the bunk room and games to keep the kids busy and plenty of toys and supplies for the beach and pool. The private beach was amazing too. The host was very helpful and responded right away when we had any questions. Our family is already talking about when we can visit again!

Overall we enjoyed the property and the amenities that were provided. We were a little disappointed to be as far from the lake as we were. It was our understanding that the house was closer to the lake front. Rather than about a 5 minute walk to the tram to get to the beach. The owner communicated very well and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. Overall we would recommend this house as it perfectly fit 12 of us (6 adults and 6 kids) comfortably.

Husbands 60th Birthday Celebration

Plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms for all my adult kids and their family. We really like the game room and theater room in the basement. It was a great place to spend time when the weather got a little rainy! We spent a lot of time in the pool and hot tub. The kitchen table was larger enough for our whole family for meals and game night. It was a great weekend!

Awesome South Haven Girls Get A Way

The perfect place to spend a vacation!

Our family enjoyed a FANTASTIC week at this house. Upon our arrival, the home was immaculate. It has everything you need: fully-stocked kitchen, attractive/comfortable furnishings, plenty of towels, beach stuff, etc. And so many toys & games in the bunk room & in closets on the 1st & 2nd floors! Having a washer/dryer on both the 1st & 2nd floors was so convenient. The home is spacious with a wonderful layout that allows both togetherness & privacy; there are plenty of areas inside the house & outside (on patio next to pool or near fire pit) for larger gatherings, intimate conversations, or solitude. The outdoor play area with swing set is great for kids. The screened-in back porch was one of our favorite spots to hang out; we spent many hours relaxing there. Our granddaughter LOVED the heated pool & went swimming 2-3 times a day. The adults loved the pool & hot tub as well. The sitting area on the 2nd floor is especially cozy. We also loved the theater room & game room! We never felt like we were in each other’s way during our stay. Location of the property is perfect: a short drive to downtown South Haven, a short walk to the end of the block where the tram to private beach is located, & where the sunsets are spectacular. The house is PERFECT for enjoying the beauty & peace of SW Michigan without feeling stressed by noise or crowds. The owner is phenomenal--the warmest, friendliest, most responsive host we’ve ever had. She’s TRULY incredible to work with. A+++++ rating!

This house is everything it advertises! We had a great time with young children! There were even toys in the kids room for them to play with! The property was perfect for our family get together! The pool was the perfect size for the kids and the hot tub was great for the adults at night! Perfect Rental Property

This property is clean, beautiful, and comfortable. The host has thought of everything a guest of any age would want or need. So much to do at the house- theatre room, game room, fire pit, screened porch, children’s play set and toys and of course the heated pool and relaxing area around it. Family Getaway

This home was gorgeous! Everything was immaculately clean, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. The house had everything we needed to help celebrate our daughter’s 9th birthday with a few family members. The heated pool and hot tub were a great hit with the kids, despite the 55 degree weather. The deck and sunroom were the best place to relax to watch the kids play all in the pool. There was plenty of rooms for the adults and kids to have their own rooms and beds. The walk to the tram and beach was a short and easy. The game room and theater room was perfect to keep everyone occupied and happy. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and the location was great due to how close enough it was to stores if we needed anything. The best part was the communication with the owner, Susan. She was super attentive and responded if we needed anything. Check in and check out was super easy. We look forward to booking again for the our next weekend getaway, thank you for the great time Susan!

Amazing Place to Stay - STAY HERE!

The house was perfect and the host was soooo nice and accommodating. Exceptional on all levels: - Clean, clean, clean! Every room, every thing, was spotless. - So many great family things to do. The theater room was awesome, all the games were in working order, there were cards, and puzzles and trivia too! - The Hot tub was clean, private, functioning properly, and towels were provided. - So many bedrooms to choose from. All of them with comfortable beds and high end linens and furniture. - Fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, plates, cups, glasses, etc. We didn't need anything additional. We actually stayed in for dinner most nights because it was so comfortable to cook and clean in. - Living room space was perfect. Enough room for us all and the tv was easy to figure out. - So close to Lake Michigan. Gorgeous walks and views!!! - Accommodating owners and readily available to answer any requests or questions. Also kind enough to send me my charger which I left behind. - Instructions for check in, check out, how to use the special items, and anything else we needed during the stay were clearly marked and understandable. We really didnt need to bother the host with anything because it was all spelled out so well. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Worth every penny ❤️❤️❤️

Highly recommended

I coordinate an annual ladies' trip that has been happening for years. This rental was fantastic. Susan is a great host, very easy to communicate with, and very accommodating whenever possible. The outdoor space with the pool, hot tub, and grill is perfect. The beds are all really comfortable. The whole house was very clean and even all the blinds worked (an often overlooked detail). The view of the lake off the bluff at the end of the block is stunning, especially at sunset. What was especially nice for our group was the table space. There were at least 2 tables where all of us could comfortably sit together. Over all, I would highly recommend this rental. The listing very accurately describes the home. The kitchen is well stocked. It's easy to find what you need because the house is well organized and cabinets are labelled. Susan provides a really comprehensive guide to the home and the area that answers all your questions. Virtue Cidery is also very close by and a lovely visit. Rent this house.

Rest and Relaxation

This is a beautiful home with a well stocked kitchen. I have been to other VRBO's that claimed they had a well stocked kitchen and did not, but this one definitely did. The hot tub was fabulous and not too hot. Everything was very clean. It is the best place we have ever stayed at. It allowed a group of friends to get some well deserved rest and relaxation. The owner communicates very well with you. Hoping to be able to return. It was an amazing experience.

Amazing place for a great week!

The house was everything we hoped for and more. Everything the kids could have wanted or needed was there. Costumes to try on, lots of toys, and the pool was just right for them. We loved the proximity to the beach and the tram was easy to use. Only very minor suggestion for improvement would be some king beds, but it still worked out well for us. Also, we visited a near by beach that was bigger but not crowded to enjoy some lake swimming. The location near Saugatuck and South Haven was perfect for us. Susan was an excellent host and we could not have been more pleased with the property. Hot tub, playground, and pool were fantastic!

Our family of 11 gathered at this beautiful home. The owners designed and built a fabulous place for all to enjoy. Plenty of space to spread out and even find some quiet alone time.
