Great stay!

Loved the location to the beach...and the fact it was close to a lot of places. With the building being smaller, much more quiet than normal. We loved having beach chairs to use, although I don't think they are an official part of the unit. Big frig and nice stainless steel appliances. If you value being able to sit right outside and watch the ocean, this probably isn't the place, but that wasn't a huge issue. Still saw the sunset and dolphins.

This property was a very nice get away from cold Indiana. The unit itself was very nice and tidy. However, we were not informed that the pool and surrounding grounds were under construction until AFTER booking. We would have chosen a like property with no issues for the same money OR rented a property with no pool for less. The failure to disclose the state of the grounds was very upsetting.

Our Memorial Day Week Stay

Overall property was fine. The beach was nice and the water was clear and beautiful. We did have a flying insect infestation when it rained but it quickly abated shortly after. Only two towels and two washcloths were provided for two people for the week which is absurd in our opinion. No owner instructions regarding the use of the property or local attractions including restaurant info were provided and no guest book for additional guest commentary was provided. We managed to have a good time nonetheless.

"The Chateau"

The beachfront location is beautiful. We were there for 13 nights. We were given 2 bath towels, 2 wash clothes, 2 hand towels & a bath mat. It was our responsibility to launder them and the bed sheets. We were responsible for toilet paper after being given starter rolls of the cheapest quality ever. This is true for paper towels and bath soap. There was a decent mattress. The pool is not heated and therefore far too cold to use. The property is very old and they have done their best to update it. The cost to stay there exceeded the value of what we received. However, it is lovely to be on the beach, a priceless experience.

We had a very relaxing visit to Florida. The Chateau was cozy and quiet which is just what we wanted. The bathroom is a bit small for two people to get ready but we made it work. The location was also perfect. The view was amazing from our gulf side room and was perfect for watching the sun set every night. Be sure to bring your own beach chairs if you want to sit on the beach. We missed sitting in the sun on the beach even though the water was pretty cold. Overall our stay was great and we will always remember our time at The Chateau.

My son and I came to this condo for 5 days! It was extremely small (which would have been fine) but the couch was this very small and probably the most uncomfortable loveseat I’ve ever sat on! It was so bad we couldn’t even sit after a long day in the sun to relax! Everything was so out dated! The bed was not comfortable, the sink was weirdly in a corner and the bathroom sink had zero pressure!! we tried to communicate with staff but they never responded to text messages If it wasn’t for the amazing beach, I would have left and went to a hotel!!

Nice little Place

We loved our short stay. The assigned parking was appreciated. The property was well maintained and the tropical plants and palm trees surrounding made it our own little paradise. The view was perfect and the sunsets incredible. The unit was stocked with all the necessities so we didn’t need to purchase once arriving. The bed was very comfy. The bathroom shower faucet needs replaced, it is “delicate”. We will stay here again

Overall great,but...

My husband and I stayed here for a week fir our honeymoon. The house was ready for us a little earlier than 4, and they texted us all the information we needed to set the keypad, how to get in, etc. We arrived and it was amazing. The location was great, you're right there on the beach and you can sit on the deck to watch the sunset and get an amazing view. It was very clean and we overall loved this property. However, there was a few things that was not very satisfactory. First, I messaged the owner on VRBO a few days before we left asking about the washer and dryer. I assumed it was a stackable behind the curtains in the hallway closet. No response. When we arrived, it wasn't there. I texted the phone number that said we could reach out to if we had any problems. I messaged about the washer and dryer and the internet (the router wasn't on, we were able to figure that out) but I never got a response. The next day they texted back about reaching out again if we had any issues. Like it was an automated message. So I call the number, and it was a company and I spoke with housekeeping about the washer and dryer. It was located on the ground floor by the pool. It turns out it's one washer and dryer in a tiny room for everyone to share this washer and dryer. And it was $1.75 only in quarters per wash (only small load, had to pay more for a bigger load) and per dry (for medium heat 48 minutes) we wished we knew when we booked it or a response from the owner so we could do had enough quarters. Halfway through the week we had to find a car wash with a coin machine. But besides that, we loved the property and enjoyed the easy access to the beach and an amazing view. We loved it. Just be sure to bring $10+ worth of quarters if you need to do some laundry!

I was very pleased with this location! Neighbors were great and it was all around a great experience. There were little extras in the room that I liked. I would definitely recommend it. We were happy for two.. wouldn’t suggest having more though.😊

When we arrived the room wasn’t ready I had to call 2 times to get the code. We were able to get in around 4:55 and it was very dirty They did not change the sheets and the pillows cases I never recommend this place and too expensive 😤😤😤😱😱

We absolutely loved this spot. You are literally on the beach. Very residential area so the beach isn't crazy amd packed. We will be back for sure!!!!

Great location on the beach and swimming pool. Between Clearwater and St Pete’s beaches just far enough away from most crowds. Property was clean... good contact from renters.... quiet!

A wonderful view of the ocean.

Everything was clean. Nice area. The only issue is if you're flying in, there's no beach towels or chairs to even rent. But over all..I loved my stay!!

Great place for R&R

I loved that the place was accurate to what it showed online. The check in/ check out process was super easy and it was the perfect home away from home for a bit. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get some R&R for a bit and I would definitely come back and stay again!

This property is in an excellent location, but needs updating and repairs. Everything functioned, but with very little class. The bed was the single best part. The air conditioner was noisy and cycled frequently. It was difficult to hear the TV in the front room. The light switch for the kitchen light (when we finally found it) was difficult to operate since it was obscured by the refrigerator. We wondered why there was a backscratcher hung on the wall left of the refrigerator and finally concluded it was provided to slip between the fridge and the wall to throw the switch, We met several friendly renters who we learned came for many years and stayed for months. A glance inside their units compared to ours showed why they were repeat customers.

This apartment is awful

The ONLY good thing about this place is the proximity to the beach. Previous reviewers say it has everything you need for the beach: it had 3 broken beach chairs and 3 threadbare beach towels. The kitchen had some good equipment but only 3 forks. The bathroom has a toilet that barely flushes. The AC is so loud that you cannot hear the TV - or each other talk. The TV in the bedroom is smaller than a computer monitor. It was dirty, junky (broken blinds and a back scratcher is needed to flip a light switch blocked by the fridge) and uncomfortable. The pool is unheated. Unless you plan to only sleep here, pay a little extra and get something more comfortable.
