Süßes Zuhause im Obergeschoss

Die Gäste werden einen unvergesslichen Urlaub in diesem komplett eingerichteten 3 Schlafzimmer / 1 Bad im zweiten Stock eines Einfamilienhauses verbringen. Der erste Stock ist vom zweiten Stock mit dem eigenen Eingang getrennt. Jedes Schlafzimmer ist mit einem Queensize-Bett ausgestattet, das bequem Platz für 6 Personen bietet.  Das Wohnzimmer ist mit einem Sofa und einem TV ausgestattet. Internet ist vorhanden. Die Küche ist ideal zum Essen, da sie mit Kochutensilien, Mikrowelle, Backofen und Grill ausgestattet ist. 

 Beide Einheiten (Erster Stock) und (Zweiter Stock) haben ein Schlafzimmer, ein Badezimmer, ein Wohnzimmer, eine Küche und einen eigenen Eingang. Nur Einheit (Erster Stock) hat eine Waschmaschine und Trockner. Die Nutzung von Waschmaschine und Trockner durch Gäste in der Wohneinheit (2. Etage) erfolgt nur nach Absprache mit dem Mieter in der Wohneinheit (Rückseite).

Wonderful little place

This place was very quaint. It’s a little hard to move around the kitchen area but it’s possible. The upstairs has enough space for everyone to be in their own space and they utilize the space well. They make sure you have enough fans and heaters. The bathroom is stocked and I am sure if you are missing anything they would be glad to help. Would stay again

Very Charming!

My husband, niece & I were there for a family event. The house is a charming older home. The kitchen is small, but has everything you could possibly need! The stairs to the living room & bedrooms is off the kitchen. Each of the 3 bedrooms are spacious, beds are comfortable. The outside deck with seating area is nice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay’

Dirtiest, most strangely decorated place I’ve ever stayed

The pictures didn’t do the place justice. It was dirty, dusty, cobwebs, and there were ants crawling all over our food on the kitchen table. They knew there was an ant issue as there were ant traps on the kitchen, window, ledge, and on the outside window ledge

Unfortunately, with the current Missouri spring season bringing rain, high humidity and moisture, ant activity has significantly increased throughout the area. Good location and good communication

We were in town to referee a pickleball tournament. We do not cook or spend much time in the unit. It was great for what we needed. I would be carefull if i was a family. This unit had 5 window air conditions and not central air. they worked well but were noisey. There is no living room type area just 3 bedrooms and a kitchen. For us that was all we needed. The host was great and the check in and out was 5 stars

I needed a place close to the stadium and this fit the bill perfectly. I apparently didn’t throughly read the description that my unit was upstairs but that wasn’t a problem. I had difficulty getting the gate code to work, but Willy came right over and all was well. The place was perfect for me. As for other reviews, I did not have any ant problems and the place was clean. Being from So. CA I loved the hundreds of fireflies at dusk. I would recommend. Just be aware of it being upstairs.

Great location older property

It was a great location for the football game at Arrowhead. Older property with older furnishings. It met our needs. Kitchen is a converted porch. Small but has everything. Bedrooms are a good size. There really is no living room area. It’s at the top of the stairs and only fits a small loveseat with a TV. Neighborhood was quiet. Parking is great and the deck is huge.

Clean, with everything you need. The host was very responsive when a small hiccup occurred. The bedrooms are up a narrow flight of stairs from the kitchen. You enter the unit through the backdoor into the very narrow kitchen. Great for single travelers or few adults. No seating for a group/living room

Its cheap for a reason.

The house looked and smelled dusty and stale. After spraying room refresher and washing the bedding the smell was partially removed. All I can say is it’s what I paid for considering the low nightly cost.

Not what we expected

We must have misread listing because we thought it was the whole house but was actually only the upper level. Place was clean but definately an old house. Floors slant and has a little odor in bathroom.

Nothing like expected

The ad was deceiving. I thought we were getting the whole home. The home is junky and dirty especially outside. The unit is upstairs and a half kitchen downstairs. The unit was dark. My 81 yr old mom couldn’t do the stairs. I immediately asked to cancel and between Vrbo and the owner I was told it would be and my money returned. Here I am 5 days later and still have not been reimbursed from a rental we did not use.

We’re disappointed to receive this review, especially as it seems to be a retaliatory response. The unit was booked with a clear description noting that it’s on the second floor with stairs, which the guest unfortunately overlooked. Upon arrival at night, the guest didn’t turn on the available lights and later described the property as “dark”. As for the comment about the decor being “junky and dirty”, we respectfully disagree. Our space is professionally cleaned and thoughtfully decorated. We welcome honest feedback, but it’s important that it remains fair and accurate for the benefit of future guests.

Shower, provides an amazing hot shower Had a problem with the lock we reached out and quickly got in touch with owner quickly however he was unable to assist. Biggest concern was the actual smoke coming from the connector unit. There is an unequal door closure. At bottom of stairs where the other unit sound and smells come through, thus my daughter and I were exposed to weed and cigarette smoke during our entire stay. Not ideal. I could deal with the clutter and not the most comfortable beds however due to my allergies I was concerned I would have to use my inhaler at one point to breath. We stayed out of the unit as much as possible which was easy since there is a lot to do in the area as well as enjoy the football game and made due. The space was tight and impractical, it was not possible to get comfortable would not use this rental again.

Trouble!

I had nothing but trouble during my stay. The ad is VERY misleading as this is half of a house not a whole house. This listing has a small kitchen downstairs and all rooms upstairs, so you are climbing 10 stairs multiple times a day. Since this is not an entire house, there are LOTS of issues with breakers. At one point, the stove tripped the breaker because we were using the stove and oven while ACs were running, and the stove never worked after that. Even with ACs running, the rooms were still hot at night. We were unable to cook the entire stay. The ONLY positive is that the owner was super friendly and tried to address these concerns (although unsuccessfully). I requested a refund early in the booking, but was denied so I had to stay the whole time or lose hundreds of dollars. I would be very cautious about staying here.

"If You Can't Take the Freeze, Stay Out Of The Kitchen"

Weather was below freezing when we stayed. There was no heat in the kitchen downstairs. If you stay upstairs their is no access to the thermostat. Space heaters were inadequate. Master bdrm-- too drafty. 2nd flr stairs very steep. Floors were like a Fun House (non-level). On the positive side, everything else was provided (towels, kitchen utensils, washer/dryer, detergent). And, William Z., the caretaker was nice with a good sense of humor-- which YOU need to have if you stay in this house.

Cold Stay

During my stay, I tried to use the heater that was provided and it caused a power outage in which we were without lights or heat for 30 minutes, which is when I learned that the neighbor that shares the building is in control of the heat and hadn’t turned it on for us in the two days that we have stayed there so on our third day, we realize that we had heat and finally stopped freezing. Also, we couldn’t get the Wi-Fi to hook up. And when I tried to turn on the heater downstairs as soon as I plugged it in the cord caught on fire, so I had to abruptly unplug it I would not recommend this to anyone but a polar bear.

Listing not accurate

My best friend and I booked this rental for our weekend trip to KC thinking we had booked the entire house to ourselves, because that’s what was advertised on the listing. This is NOT accurate. Upon arrival, we didn’t really question entering through the back door as instructed until we realized that the rental we had booked was only half of the entire house. Being two young women traveling by themselves for the weekend, this was a little off-putting and there was some sketchy behavior that continued throughout the trip. After our arrival, we noticed that the front section of the house was also occupied, which we were NOT aware of prior to booking the rental. The kitchen is downstairs with three bedrooms and a bathroom up a fairly steep set of stairs. There isn’t much to the living room at all and all of the furniture was uncomfortable and difficult to sleep on. The house smelled vaguely of cigarette smoke and there were so many glade plug ins throughout the house that it almost gave my friend a full blown migraine attack. Overall, this listing was decent and accomplished the goal for our trip, but definitely wasn’t ideal.

Affordable

Pros: very affordable, security screen on entrance, separate bedrooms for each of us, hot water, laundry facilities, host attempts to be accommodating. Cons: a/c is window units and couldn't keep up on hot nights, no a/c in kitchenette, ran out of TP, things broken and not repaired for our arrival, creepy closets, cooking tools inadequate, kitchen basics not provided, yard looks like a junk yard.

Kindness and Charm

William has a great place for visitors to stay. Each room is set up in it's own unique way, it looks to be freshly painted and refreshed throughout. William is a very kind person and made me feel just like a family member. This place has so many pluses and I will only name a few. The kitchen has a refrigerator and a little deep freeze also the master bedroom has a refrigerator and maybe the other rooms due to I don't remember. I love the fact that when you pull in on you have a gate if you want to close it then you park close to the backyard it has a gate and a sidewalk that leads up to the back door.,I felt very safe. I made two great furry Friends, Franco and Jesse, they were across the drive and I would take a chair over to their shade and visit with them. I will be staying at this nice place anytime I am in the area.

William was very friendly and helpful. He even provided us with cereal and rolls for breakfast. He is improving the area with new outdoor plants. Apartment was clean, well furnished, comfortable beds, well lit with motion lights, and well guarded by 2 large friendly dogs . Nice area with walking trail, shopping and restaurants close by. Large new outside deck.
