We take all guest feedback seriously, and have passed along these comments to the owner of the home, who has taken the opportunity to make some improvements. The carpet has recently been replaced with LVP wood-like flooring, and the owner is replacing the kitchen cabinets and countertops before Thanksgiving. The downstairs tenant has also moved out, and it's now possible to rent the home as a 1 bedroom, a 3 bedroom, or the whole house as a 4 bedroom.

The comments in this review are an inaccurate description of the property and the situation that occurred. For many years, without issue, the property owner had been storing dog food within the property, for use when his family visited. The way in which the guest reported the issue, "we found dog food in our shoes," was confusing to the owner. So he did ask for photos and for her to check multiple places, to see if there was any other evidence of a rodent. Unfortunately, the process of looking in nooks and crannies, behind water heaters and such, caused this guest to form a strongly negative opinion. She sought a nearly full refund and threatened legal action, yet the problem wasn't severe enough for her to want to check out from the property. Perhaps that is because immediate action was taken. A very small field mouse was trapped and removed. All perishable items that were in deep storage were removed, and the source of the mouse's entry into the property was sealed. She chose to continue staying in the property until her departure date, and this should be the greatest indication of the nature of the situation. A major remodel was just completed, with additional improvements planned for spring 2021. The home is impeccably and professionally cleaned. The online property listing shows and describes the home accurately. The shared laundry room has modern clean appliances and is exactly as described - a shared laundry room that is accessible to the lower level 1-Bedroom lock off as well as the upper level 3-Bedroom.
