Easy and comfortable stay

Horrible experience

Place was not clean . No parking on property . Had to drive around until 1230am looking for a place to park . Found somewhere else to stay our second night instead of there

Thanks for staying with us, Alecia! The housekeeping company we use is required to provide detailed photos of everything they clean and they give us a 100% guarantee of cleanliness. Since you didn't contact us during your stay to fix the issues, we had no way of helping. The condo complex has a large parking lot and a parking pass is available in the condo. We hope you used the hot tub and pool during your stay. We wish you luck on your future travels!

Bare Bones and noisy

Expect to get very familiar with your neighbors as we were kept up several nights. One night we got to hear them perform in their most intimate moment for 30+ minutes. For the cost per night I expected a bit more from this place. The condos were frumpy on the inside. The elevators always smelled like weed. The place had everything we needed but the interior was a bit dated. Location is alright. Bus access is there but takes ~20+ min to get downtown at most times.

Your review was a bit comical. Thankfully, your experience is the exception and not the rule. In any common building (as in a hotel), neighbors can occasionally be heard in the hallways and sometimes through a wall when the excitement of being on vacation overcomes them. A stay, anywhere over New Year's Eve can be interesting. Most guests are respectful and your description of the stay is not common. The location can't be beat being so close to downtown and walk-able to many areas. The hot tub is also a guest favorite!

A great location for Sundance film fest between Ray and Eccles theaters!

The condo was clean and had everything we needed for our 4 day adventure during Sundance film fest. There were also extra bedding for the sofa bed. However, the reason I gave this rating a 3 star instead of 4 star was because the description of the sofa bed is not accurate. It states it is a sofa bed foam style that sleeps 1-2 people. Please know that this “sofa bed” is merely cushion from the couch spread out on the floor. There is no mattress at all which when I see “foam” in the description, I would imagine most people would think a foam mattress, and a “sofa bed” is the elevated mattress on springs. And my friend tried sleeping on the cushions the one night and they weren’t even long enough for her to lay on, she was partially on the floor. It in no way shape or form would sleep 1-2 people, possibly a small child and not very comfortably. So with that being said, the next morning I called and emailed (they only responded to email), and asked that a cot or air mattress be brought in as the description was inaccurate and there weren’t any pictures of the “sofa bed” set up as the bed online. It took two emails back and forth until the property management agreed to ask the owner if they would allow an air mattress to be purchased. It was very frustrating taking time from my weekend to deal with this and then be told by the management company that the online ad was completely accurate. My response was I’ve rented vrbo tons of times and never complained and please understand the last thing I want to be doing right now is reaching out about a bedding situation. So in the end they finally agreed and brought in a queen size air mattress with sheets. It worked perfectly and my friend and I each had our own bed which is what we though we were getting in the first place. So I just wanted to share that issue as if you are hoping to have two beds, it isn’t at all, but st least now there is an awesome air mattress in the closet that fit great in front of the tv. Other than that, the condo was awesome, And the location was about 15 minute walk to both The Ray and Eccles theater, and the shuttle bus to Main Street is right outside. Plus there are some great restaurants, groceries stores and bars within walking distance too. I loved having everyone so close during Sundance, it definitely is an area I would return to again! We certainly appreciate the guest stay and agree that "the condo is awesome!" We disagree that there were any inaccuracies in the description. The sofa bed was clearly and accurately pictured and described as a "small foam-style sofa bed for 1-2 persons." Unfortunately, due to a seemingly superficial review of the listing description, this guest arrived with unrealistic expectations. Because of this, we received an array of emails and phone calls demanding we meet the guest's expectations. Even with the demeaning treatment, we did everything we could to ensure the guest's comfort. This included shopping for and delivering a high-quality luxury queen air mattress and bedding the same day, within hours of the request. It is disappointing to be treated disrespectfully, especially when going above and beyond for a guest. A 3-star review for outstanding customer service and a condo that was described as "clean and had everything we needed,” “awesome” and “would definitely return again” is equally disappointing. This is an amazing downtown location with many conveniences and now has a luxury Queen air bed for additional comfort! Come enjoy all Park City has to offer in this convenient and comfortable condo. Affordable stay for one person

Good budget option for park city.

Place was clean, somewhat loud. I was traveling alone to get some boarding in and it worked well. The busses run all the time and are free. Bathroom and kitchen were outdated but usable. Would be a good option for a couple or couple and a child.

Fine for last minute stat

Fine for a single person maybe a couple of sharing a bed. The air mattress is very uncomfortable and hard to get a good nights sleep on. The heating unit is very loud and the temperature in the room is not accurately maintained (e.g., if set to 69, it feels like 80). Overall the Carriage House building has very thin walls and when neighbors decided to party late at night it is very hard to sleep. I will be avoiding bookings in the Carriage house going forward.

We're sorry to see such an awful review for such a great space! The air bed is a raised, self-inflatable and comfortable. We use this brand at all of our managed homes. It does need to stay plugged in to maintain the perfect comfort. Just like any hotel, even a fine hotel, other guests can be heard. The Carriage House is just steps to the FREE bus pick up and a super affordable and convenient place for a downtown Park City vacation with a pool hot, hot tub and laundry options.

Good for a short stay

Last minute booking so can not complain. We used jacuzzi and ski locker. Parking was dicey, but we got lucky every time. Only issue we had was the neighbor below, if we just walked around he banged on his ceiling/our floor. Small room so only one or two fit. Nice little kitchen if you want to bring in a few groceries!

Troubled Stay

This stay was troubling for me. First, the biggest problem was not being told the pass code for the entry door to the building. Had to wait for someone else to enter before I could get in the building. Nobody would tell me the building entry code since most didn't know it, and relied on others to let them in. A systemic problem here. Finally got the pass code the day before I left by talking to the property management representative on the phone.

Thanks for staying with us, Thomas! Detailed directions with the building code and door lock code for the condo were emailed to you 30 days prior to your stay. We also sent a reminder 48 hours prior to your check-in. If you had texted or called our office, we would have provided the code immediately and been able to direct you to the email we sent. We hope you enjoyed the pool and hot tub during your trip and traveled home safely.

Great Little Condo

Enjoy stay here, close enough to all the good stuff yet out of the hustle and bustle. One of the better hot tubs I have been to.

Great place and location

The property was great. The location was perfect, and we enjoyed the amenities. Our only complaint was the Saturday night noise. The walls are paper thin and we were kept awake until late from nearby guests. Other than that, we recommend the stay.

We're so glad to hear you loved the condo, the perfect location and the amazing amenities! We're sorry to hear you had unruly neighbors one night of your stay. In common building, just like in a hotel, you can sometimes hear other guests. Thankfully, most of the time they are respectful. We hope you enjoyed the year-round pool and hot tub and took advantage of the convenient location to walk to dining or hop on the free bus to downtown. Thanks for being great guests. We hope you'll look us up when planning your next Park City get-away.
