The place is beautiful and wide open! Nice appliances, nice decor, perfect location. We've stayed at Kaanapali Royal 2x prior, and this was our favorite so far...mostly because of the view and the location inside the complex. Once we figured out all the remotes and switches, it felt like 10 days at home...but 1000% better. Thank you for letting us borrow your wonderful place.

Excellent location in the complex! No stairs to enter the unit. Close to the parking lot and pool. Beautiful views from the lanai with excellent seating options. Kitchen dishware was plentiful. AC works well and beds were comfortable. Thank you for the excellent stay.

Island Living at Its Finest – A True Aloha Experience

It was in a great location . Close to shopping, restaurants, Kaanapali beach. We walked everywhere or too free shuttle. Everything was set up in the condo for us. Pool area was very clean. I highly recommend Kaanapali Royal Resort to everyone. Made my vacation even more awesome!

Loved Maui!

The condo was perfect and super comfortable for our group of two couples. Great amenities and excellent location. Loved walking to the beach or to Whalers Village (and the complimentary green trolley came in handy a few times)! Great to pack the cooler for a day trip or to take for an evening drive to take in the sunset from the beach. We will definitely return and stay here again!

We stayed for 16 nights. The Good: Easy access to unit (no stairs). Great view of golf course. Great washer, dryer, and ceiling fans. The owners have done a good job of decorating (see exceptions below). Great electronic sunshades on lanai. The Not So Good: Under "Popular Amenities," it lists "ocean view." There is no ocean view which you can see if you look at the unit pictures. iTrip Maui management. Poor response to issues with unit. When we booked this unit in April, a DVD player was listed as an amenity (since removed from listing). Upon arrival, there was a DVD player, but it was broken and not connected to the TV. Also, the garbage disposal was not working. We notified the management company the next morning and they sent someone out promptly. We were told the DVD player would be replaced and also the garbage disposal. Two days later, after hearing nothing from the management company, I contacted the office. The person there knew nothing about these issues. The DVD was replaced after 4 days. The garbage disposal was never replaced. As for the unit itself, there were no guidelines for using the AC system or the entertainment system. In 30 years of coming to Maui, we have never stayed in a unit that didn't provide guidelines. Ther unit was too cold. The AC system is too hard to control and too high tech (why not just have an off switch?). We love the Kaanapali Royal but will not be returning to this unit.

The property was at a great location and had many amenities, especially the kitchen. HOWEVER, the entire property smelled musty and there was MOLD in the main closet and drawers which made them completely unusable. The area rug in the main bedroom smelled like urine so my husband put it out on the balcony. There was also an incredible amount of mold in the brita-type water pitcher in the fridge. And the tub was constantly clogging as the drain is covered in sediment. I appreciate past guests leaving their beach umbrellas and chairs etc for other guests. The location and size of the property is great - it just needs a thorough DEEP CLEANING and possibly some mold remediation.

Overall decent, but lacks amenities

If you’re staying here with a group of adults, it’s fine.The unit is spacious and we enjoyed the patio every single morning and evening of our stay.It was our favorite spot in the condo to watch golfers and birds.It’s a quick 10 minute walk to the beach/whalers village and restaurants. If you’re coming with young families be aware that there are no sand toys, or floaties in the unit.The beach amenities are limited to 1 beach chair, a couple coolers, an umbrella and one snorkel mask. There are some trono chairs we didn’t use that maybe could have been taken to the beach, but we were not familiar with how to work them so didn’t try. I would say that this unit is bare minimum for amenities. Also, no games, which would have been fun to have available for families. Beds were comfortable and sheets were clean, but other bedding was thin and old.There were no sheets or bedding available for the extra inflatable bed in the unit, which we only didn’t need because our party of 5 reduced to 4 right before our arrival. The hosts didn’t know this though, so had we arrived with 5 we would have had an issue. The beach towels were small and extremely thin. This, along with the lack of beach chairs, was probably the biggest disappointment for us upon arrival since we were at the beach every day of our stay with our kids.Kitchen is well stocked with dishes etc, but has no spices, or anything like that if you plan to cook in the unit (we did not). 4 stars out of 5 for us for this unit.

Nice area. The place was perfect for us. It was clean and smelled good. The only thing I would say the slider windows in the bedroom need a good cleaning. The wall in the bedroom with the glass window in the shower needs to be redone.

Awesome property!!!

We LOVED our stay at this property. There were 4 of us and more than enough room. The condo is tastefully decorated and extremely clean. Many items were thoughtfully included...beach chairs, beach towels, kitchen supplies, fans, lots of pillows, etc. This condo inside and out looks even better in person than the pics! The flowers and landscaping surrounding the condo is lush, mature and gorgeous. The beds were beyond comfortable! In fact, i'm going to look into getting the same mattress when i get home. The communication with the rental property was GREAT. The view of the 16th hole was entertaining. We were only steps from the pool while at the same time around the corner from it so you don't get all the noise. The pool is very clean and comfortable with enough lounge chairs for everyone. The hot tub was out of order when we got there but was fixed on our last night. You can easily walk to the beach OR take the green trolley from the fairway shops for those with difficulty walking. I would definitely stay here again! Only one little suggestion to the property manager...the bbq was awesome as we grilled a couple of times, but under the grates there's a bit of grease build up which had caught fire. The grates were clean themselves but the grease underneath probably should be cleaned out. This condo was perfect!

Huge condo near Kanaapali beach

Very large condo with all of the comforts of home near Kanaapali Beach. Only downside is its a bit of a walk to the beach. Other than that, the condo is great and had everything we could ask for. Much bigger than shown online. Great for a family or two couples!

Very nice

We loved the condo, loved watching the sunsets from the lanai. The kitchen was well stocked with nice appliances and everything you would need for cooking. I would pack some coffee, filters, seasonings, etc. Everything was well maintained, there was even a spare propane tank for the BBQ. The beds were comfortable. There was a beach umbrella but it would have been nice to have a few beach chairs for when we took the short walk to the beach. The washer and dryer in the unit was very handy. We will definitely rent it again.

We Loved our stay!

The property was in a perfect location.. Very Clean quiet and perfect size for out group of 4 (could accommodate more) The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed! The BBQ and the Lani was so spacious and wonderul! Having the onsite Washer and Dryer was so convenient we were able to pack much less and was and dry clothes.. Thanks for making a great stay for us we would definitely go back it was impressive!

Wonderful rental!

The unit is exactly as described - extremely comfortable, close to everything (10-15ish min walk to Whaler's Village) and has every amenity you you'll need for a great stay in Kaanapali. Having stayed in several of the hotels in Kaanapali over the years, we wanted a longer term rental in the same area and couldnt have asked for a better location and unit. Wonderful, large lanai with BBQ; steps away from the lovely pool; it had everything we hoped for and more. Communication with the property manager was extremely easy and check in was a breeze. We look forward to staying in this unit again next time we're in Kaanapali!

Beautiful Condo in a great location!

The property was better than the listing! We were happily surprised when we opened the door and saw the spacious, clean condo. Lovely furnishings, fully equipped with everything we could need and very clean. Great location to launch our explorations or just enjoy the pool.
