Our weekend stay at Cushing Cottage was 5 stars incredible. The cottage was very clean, and our hosts have stocked it with snacks, breakfast goodies and drinks. The area was so peaceful and beautiful. We will definitely return again. Thank you to our hosts.

We have stayed here several times over the years and in both cottages. You couldn't ask for a more peaceful place. Only a few minutes from busy Gettysburg yet in a lovely and tranquil spot. We were greeted each morning by a company of friendly turkeys, chickens and two very cute bunnies. The screened porch provided a perfect place to eat breakfast or enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. We travel once a year to Gettysburg, and we always stay here if available. A wonderful spot.

We have done other Vrbo stays as well as Air B&B. This was the most comfortable and well appointed cottage. There were snacks/juices for breakfast as well as for afternoon with wine. What a thoughtful hostess. Any questions I had were answered within a very reasonable amount of time. This cottage is a wonderful to get some quiet time and yet is close to anything you would want to do in Gettysburg. I wish we had been able to spend more nights there.

We had a wonderful time at the Cushing Cottage. Everything was as advertised. The accommodations were perfect. Communication with our host was spot on. The animals were a joy to feed. We had several days of relaxation. We're heading home ready to face the world again.

The cottage was clean, comfortable, and cute! The setting was beautiful--feeding the bunnies, chickens, and turkeys was fun--the animals are lovely! We appreciated the drinks and snacks provided. It was a very nice, welcoming place! The owner spoke us briefly in the morning, and was so nice to send us home with fresh eggs! I would definitely stay here again!

We loved our cottage and all the wonderful animals, they were so friendly!! There was so many little things they included like fresh flowers, food for the animals- so we could feed them, drinks and snacks. The owners are very friendly and polite.The cottage was spotless. Highly recommend-10

This is the perfect place to stay for a trip to Gettysburg. It's a very short drive to the city and to food choices. You are nestled away in a peaceful and tranquil setting in the countryside. This cottage is even BETTER than the pictures show. The hosts are great! And the chickens, bunnies, turkeys and Izzy (the dog) are so fun to watch and all are friendly! 100% recommend!

Great little cottage for two. Tucked away in a peaceful setting with lots of friendly animals to greet you. The hosts have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. Comfortable KS bed, fluffy towels, snacks, some beverages, coffee etc. Quick ride to Gettysburg. I rarely give 5star reviews. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent stay in Cushing Cottage In Gettysburg. We stayed for4 nights in June 2026. It's situated on a small hobby farm with very friendly animals. Turkeys, rabbit's, chickens, geese, Izzy their dog and lots more. Far enough from town to be relaxing but close enough and easy to get to for touring. Our hosts were very friendly and cared about our stay. They included lots of little thing to make our stay enjoyable. We would highly rrecommend staying here and will definitely stay again if we are in the area. Thanks again Chris and Todd.

We had a very enjoyable overnight in the cottage. The hosts were very friendly and very responsive to messages. The cottage is clean and well appointed. We appreciated the bottled water, cheese and crackers waiting for us. The animal-friends on the property are fun to watch. The brood of turkeys made quite a display as we were leaving. We would return if we head back to Adams County.

The property itself is as beautiful as it is peaceful. Inside the cabin, every single thoughtful, tiny thing you could need is provided. The room temp and the furniture is very cozy. Outside, we were greeted and kept company by the most friendly animals! Turkeys, chickens, rabbits, and even the family’s dog made an appearance! Overall, the atmosphere was super cozy and calm and the entire property was spotless & cared for. We will absolutely be going back!
