☑️ Outdoor grill & firepit are available seasonally, depending on the weather.

☑️ For safety and insurance reasons, guests are not permitted to use the fireplace.

☑️ An AWD or 4WD vehicle🚙 is recommended during snowy months for safe access to the house.

☑️ An exterior camera above the garage and on the porch records audio and video of the driveway for safety and insurance purposes. It is only reviewed in case of a concern or complaint.

☑️ Chalet includes automatic backup power via a 200A generator, ensuring comfort even during rare outages.

☑️ Unexpected circumstances can arise - we HIGHLY recommend purchasing traveler's insurance.

☑️ We kindly ask guests to check out by 10:00 a.m. Late departures may incur a $25 fee per 15 minutes to support our cleaning team’s schedule.

☑️ Frostpine Chalet is equipped with a privacy-safe Minut sensor that monitors noise and smoke levels to help ensure a peaceful and safe stay. It does not record audio or video.

☑️ This property has special local compliance requirements, which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $50 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $2 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional. To make this process easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app-free platform called Happy Guest. It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account - it’s a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of my favorite local spots.
