Bon Bini! Wir laden Sie ein, unsere Gäste in unserem karibischen Haus auf der schönen Insel Curacao zu sein. Ihr Schlafzimmer schaut durch den schattigen Garten zum Meer. Bringen Sie morgens Ihren Kaffee auf das Deck und beobachten Sie die Fischer auf dem Weg zur See, gefolgt von den Fregattvögeln und Braunfußtölpeln. Beobachten Sie eine vorbeiziehende Meeresschildkröte oder, wenn Sie Glück haben, Wale oder Delfine, die die Küste entlang kreuzen. Da wir nach Westen schauen, werden Sie den Sonnenuntergang nicht verpassen wollen, gefolgt von einem Sternenhimmel.

Gehen Sie in beide Richtungen, durch unser verschlafenes Dorf Lagun, zu einem der zwei Nachbarstrände. Kochen oder essen Sie in einem der vielen Restaurants in der Nähe. Erkunden Sie das ländliche Westende der Insel und finden Sie gemütliche Strände, wunderschöne Tauchplätze am Strand, herrliche Wander- und Mountainbikewege. Fahren Sie in Willemstad, einer Weltkulturerbe-Hafenstadt, zum Einkaufen, Essen, Museen oder beobachten Sie die Schlepper, die riesige Tanker in den Hafen führen.

Wenn Sie das ganze Haus während des Monats Juli mieten möchten, senden Sie uns bitte eine Anfrage. Das Haus hat zwei Schlafzimmer - ein großes und ein großes - das größere sehr bequem für 4-5 Personen. Ein Zimmer ist ideal für ein Paar und das andere für eine Familie mit Kindern. We just returned from our vacation - and already planning our next one: this place is amazing. Lisa and Joel are like your long-lost friends with whom you now have a chance to reconnect. The property itself is impeccable: the room, the garden, tables, couches, chairs, outdoor kitchen and outdoor shower - you will use all of that and will be amazed at how properly those things work together. The bed on the deck overviewing Caribbean Sea will be your favorite place to watch incredible sunsets, the ladder into the sea will be where you will have half of your swims - the other half at one of the nearby beaches (Playa Jeremy became our favorite). Dream vacation, no other words to describe our experience.

We felt very welcome as guests in Lisa and Joel's home. As hosts, they were very helpful in making suggestions as to restaurants, beaches, local hikes, and things to do in Lagun. Our space in their home was very much our own, with Lisa and Joel being very sensitive to allowing us our privacy and full use of their beautiful property. We enjoyed relaxing on the ocean front deck, swimming in the crystal clear waters off of the swim deck, and cooking in the outdoor kitchen. We had a wonderful stay at Sol Patch!

We loved everything about our stay. Our accommodations were so cozy and the outdoor spaces were exactly what one could hope for: spectacular sunsets, comfy places to relax and access to the water! Lisa was so kind and informative. She had excellent recommendations (like attending a local Holiday Market featuring local artisans). It was great to be able to walk to local beaches and restaurants. The western side of the island is our absolute favorite part of Curacao and Lagun is the best location because of its proximity to beaches, restaurants, nature, and a good grocery store (New California is 15 mins away). We can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful stay.

Lisa and Joel and their 2 dogs are gracious, knowledgeable, lovely hosts. Sol patch is a beautiful wooded property with an expansive shady outdoor porch and an amazing view from the Bali hut on the edge a cliff side. The location is perfect to explore the NW beaches and we really enjoyed the company.

Wonderful Stay in Lagun

Lagun is Wonderful

Joel and Lisa are the perfect hosts. A very nice rental. We rented a car from D&D car rental and bikes from Daisa Bike Shop. Took a Mermaid Boat exercusion to Klein Curaco. Weather is perfect.

Beautiful place and location!

We totally loved our stay at sol patch. It's a beautiful house and garden with amazing views! It's a fantastic location on the island with great restaurants snorkeling scuba and hiking all within minutes. Both Joel and Lisa were incredibly helpful. Wonderful place and people!

Stay in Paradise

Although we didn’t get to stay in Lagun due to unforeseen circumstances, Lisa accommodated us with a stay at her Play Jeremi property that was absolutely stunning. Her communication was great and her property manager Hynrich was an absolute gentleman and pleasure to deal with. The property was pristine and we were close to all the beaches we wanted to visit and a short drive to Mt. Christoffel. There are also several great restaurants nearby with great food and warm service. We can’t wait to go back!

Doesn’t get any better than this!

We had a lovely time at this seaside retreat! The views were spectacular, the hosts were more than hospitable, and friendly. The accommodations were just lovely. It was close to many lovely beaches! Joel and Lisa shared all of their local insight with us and directed us to the best beaches and restaurants. The deck overlooking the ocean below is priceless.

The owners made it enjoyable

Absolutely beautiful property. On the water and away from the busy downtown area. Plenty to eat nearby. I’m gonna miss the 2 dogs Huck and Milo. They greeted us every morning ready for their treats. Joel and Lisa are wonderful and would not want to stay anyplace but with them.

My wife and I had an amazing time. Property was even more beautiful than we had dreamed. Very easy to relax on the property and soak up the incredible views. 2 beach’s within walking distance with many more just a short drive away. The description doesn’t even come close to how amazing this place was. The homeowners have thought of everything to make your stay seamless. Just what we were looking for!

A beautiful home in a beautiful spot. We had big private room with bath and outdoor kitchen, with access to outdoor dining/sitting area and deck over the Caribbean. Lisa and Joel were wonderful hosts and were helpful with suggestions for beaches, snorkel spots, hikes, and places to eat (plenty of which are very nearby, including two snorkel beaches to walk to). We couldn’t have had a nicer stay. There’s plenty to do nearby if you want, and a beautiful place to hang out if you don’t want to do anything.

Amazing

From our first communication with Lisa and Joel until the minute we checked out we felt we were with friends. The apartment is comfotable, fun, and kitschy, and the outdoor kitchen has everything you need to cook basic meals. Perfect spot for 2

Our stay was wonderful. Joel and Lisa are wonderful hosts who were happy to accommodate any requests we had. Their place is located in a perfect spot on the western part of the island, which in our opinion, is the best part of Curacao. We had easy access steps right into the water, a comfortable bed, a mini outdoor kitchen that had everything we needed and even fresh aloe was offered for our sun burns! They also have a secret connection to a neighbor friend who will make you the best dumplings you’ve ever had and deliver them to your door. It was really perfect.

Sol Patch Lagun

My husband and I had such a lovely time in Lagun, and Sol Patch was the perfect place to stay- in a quiet location, but close to the beach and restaurant. Lisa and Joel were the perfect hosts, and gave us lots of advice on places to go that we wouldn’t have otherwise have discovered. It would have been easy to spend the days sitting on the deck, and snorkelling off the steps. We wish we’d had longer. Thankyou Lisa and Joel for sharing your beautiful space .

very peaceful

We were impressed with the cleanliness of the property and the peacefulness. It was a very comfortable stay. The beauty of the sea in the mornings and evenings were great ways to start and end the day. The internet was a little sketchy while we were there, but it was a vacation to chill so found out we were ok without it. Joel and Lisa were very, very helpful in guiding us to local areas to enjoy. So thankful to have their expertise for the trip. We are so glad we met this wonderful couple and had some awesome conversations.

Special Place, Special People

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Lisa and Joel's. The location can't be beat. We were looking for a quiet, laid back week away from home. We spent a lot of time on the deck looking out over the ocean, and it was so easy to walk down the steps to hop into the ocean for a swim as well. It's walkable to two beaches, a couple of restaurants, hiking trails...and many more within a short drive. The property and location alone is spectacular, but Lisa and Joel are truly what makes this place special. One of the major highlights of our trip was sharing a meal with them. So kind and welcoming, they were eager to share their knowledge of their beautiful island. Thank you so much for a wonderful week away from home.

Absolutely amazing

Great experience. Beautiful property, the best location and absolutely amazing owners. I think it’s the owners, who made our experience great. We loved them and we’ll be back. Lisa and Joel had suggestions for our hikes and beaches to visit. They are very lovely people who enjoy other people, love the island and would like to share this love with you making you fall in love with the island too. Property is clean, has everything you need. It’s located on the cliff, you will need to use steps to get into water. We absolutely loved it.

Great place to unplug

Joel and Lisa were easy to communicate with. This rental is a master suite next to their home and we shared common outdoor space. The suite is well done with enough room to relax but the outdoor space is the real beauty of this rental. The view of the Caribbean was worth the trip alone from their deck and day bed. Although we shared the outdoor space, we saw Joel and Lisa only for short periods of time and when we did they were very helpful sharing their insights to the island. Snorkeling just below the deck was easy and beautiful. We would highly recommend this location for a couple.

Peaceful Escape

My teen daughter & I were fortunate enough to stay at this Lagun home for a week. Joel & Lisa are lovely hosts, who I'd love to have as full-time neighbors. I have stayed at other properties of their's before & they are always beautifully decorated, clean & are as advertised. What you can't see from the listings is the calm, serene feeling or the sounds of the birds & critters or the smells of the flowers & sea... There was always something new to discover on the property; a fun colored lizard, a piece of art we hadn't noticed before, dolphins swimming past as we relaxed on the Bali bed. It's an easy drive to many great beaches, restaurants & natural attractions, while being away from the busy tourist areas like JanThiel.
