Check in was very easy, communication with the host was great. We had one issue with one of the pocket doors coming off track they fixed it in a very timely manner. No issues with the condo and the pictures were very accurate. The walk to the beach was short and easy access. Pool and hot tub were always clean.

Upon arrival we noticed a foul odor. We identified it coming from the laundry room but didn't believe it to be gas so dismissed it and aired the unit out. The smell persisted, and we notified the host the following day. After 9 hours they sent maintenance over to take a look. Smelly, no resolution. Don't forget to grab some beach towels on the way, as they only provide them through rental. Grab some TP while you're picking up the towels as well, two whole rolls were provided. C'mon. We could manage the towels and TP, but having us stay in a smelly unit, not fixing the problem, or offering an alternate unit resulted in the most disappointing VRBO experience we've had.

Thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention, and we sincerely apologize for falling short of your expectations. We did send people to address the issue and the smell was very faint while he was there, we also would have been happy to move you if we had another unit to facilitate that. But as you know we were fully booked. As far as communication we reached out to the HOA which is the correct action right away, and we also sent a tech on our own to inspect the unit the same day while we communicated through messages with you. There were no mentions or communication from you after our tech was out that there were any issues after that visit. We take your feedback seriously—especially regarding the laundry room issue, our starter packet is sent via email and text prior to your stay as well. Thank you for your stay and we are sorry it did not live up to our standard.
