We had a fabulous stay! Our only regret is we didn't stay longer!Easy check in process, excellent communication, lots of amenities. A trip you can easily enjoy never leaving the bnb. It's also a close drive to wonderful market places and restaurants.

Beautiful property nested in the mountains overlooking Ashokan Reservoir. An idilic spot very quiet and secluded. The house was well stocked and very charming. The bonfire and jacuzzi add to the mountain charm. Highly recommend.

Very quiet, beautiful views, convenient enough to Woodstock and Kingston. Hot tub worked well. Laundry access and upstairs somewhat of a challenge. We would have liked to have stayed longer if our schedules permitted.

Great spot. We enjoyed our stay. Just make sure everything is working properly before the guest arrive. Fireplace did not work. Oven didnt work. Lost hot water torwards the end of our stay.

10/10 would recommend. Top of the line amenities, fantastic view, and superb location close to town. Clean, well stocked if you choose to cook, high speed wi-fi for staying connected, central air and heated bathroom floors are so comfortable in the chilly weather, hot tub is perfect and well maintained, gorgeous sunrise and sunsets, and it creates a welcome atmosphere to just hang out with family - ample space for 4-6 adults. Avantstay maintained excellent communication and seamless checkin/checkout.

My wife and I had a little getaway and honestly couldn’t have been happier. It’s a quick drive to Woodstock but we spent most of our time at the house. It was storming during our stay so w were unfortunately unable to use the fire place. We’ve already told several friends about this place and plan on going back for future visits.

The important feature of this home is the view and outdoor living. The view is amazing, but the outdoor furniture was so dirty and obviously not cleaned for us to use. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while.When checking out, the owners arrived 15 minutes before our checkout time with all their cleaning equipment, walking around the back patio area which made us feel rushed and quite frankly very uncomfortable. Just imagine if it was a hotel room and the cleaning staff walked into your room and started cleaning while your packing to leave. Very rude and unprofessional.We usually stay in view properties and this one was overpriced based on overall experience.

Magnificent vista overlooking Ashokan Reservoir and mountains, comfortable, upbeat recently renovated living spaces ample for 3-4 adults, awesome indoor steam shower and outdoor hot tub on lovely deck. Easy 15 min drive to many outstanding restaurants and shops in Woodstock and even a Buddhist monastery, and about 30 min to other areas worth visiting including Tannersville and Kingston. Within 90 minutes of other interesting destinations such as West Point. Abundant opportunities for outdoor activities as well. Property managers are highly responsive. We needed and received help navigating some of the amenities. A visual guide to the not fully intuitive light switches and fixtures will be helpful for future guests. A soon to be hooked up indoor fireplace will be another great addition. Plows were sent promptly to clear a moderately heavy (though scenic) snowfall our first night. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday stay in this beautiful property and hope to return.
