Thank you for your feedback. We take concerns like this very seriously. For clarity, several points in this review do not reflect the documented timeline and actions taken during the stay. We responded immediately and communicated consistently throughout the stay, which is fully documented in the VRBO message system. During this stay, we arranged for a licensed, after-hours plumber to come out over the Easter weekend to address the concern in real time; this was declined. The guest completed the stay, and the refund was processed exactly as promised—on the same day funds were received from VRBO. When a gas odor has been reported previously, we immediately engaged licensed plumbers to inspect the property. In those instances, no active leak was identified, and we relied on those professional assessments in good faith to ensure the property was safe. Following this stay, we had the system re-inspected, replaced valves, and completed a pressure leak detection test confirming no active leak. The home has since hosted multiple guests with five-star experiences. We remain committed to providing a safe, responsive, and well-maintained environment for all guests.
