Das Sursum Corda ist für kleine Gruppen konzipiert, um die Schönheit der Küste Washingtons in einfachen, komfortablen Unterkünften zu genießen. Die Anlage verfügt über eine große Terrasse und einen 30ft. Jurte und Waldwanderwege. Sie können auf den Strand 2 Meilen südlich fahren oder einen kurzen Spaziergang durch die Dünen machen. Copalis Beach ist die Hauptstadt der Welt für Schwertmuscheln und in der Nähe gibt es auch großartige Angelmöglichkeiten. Wir befinden uns nördlich von Ocean Shores, WA, mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten und dem Quinault Beach Casino.
Insgesamt gibt es 22 Betten: 1 Vierbett-, 1 Dreibett-, 4 Doppelzimmer und 7 Einzelzimmer auf zwei Etagen. Das Gebäude verfügt über eine geräumige Küche, einen Wohn- / Essbereich, ein Mediencenter mit Internet und Breitbild-TV sowie eine kleine Bibliothek

Church women's retreat

Our women really enjoyed our stay. Most thought it was too short. They especially liked the upstairs layout with the kitchen/dining room/living room so spacious and so much natural light from all the windows. The kitchen was very well appointed with pretty much everything we needed. And the weather cooperated! Definitely a place we'll return to.

Ms Carol, Is so wonderful and thinks of everything. The house is completely stocked. There is plenty of space for a large group for resting crafting learning cooking anything you imagination can think of.This was our 4 year and we are already planning our 5th here.

Great retreat

We enjoyed the retreat center for the second time. Plenty of room for group meetings and individual quiet time. The yurt was fantastic for yoga.

Cozy, functional and well equipped

Sorsum Corda was GREAT for our staff retreat. Plenty of sleeping options with private and shared rooms, and an extremely well equipped kitchen. There was even a high chair for our 1 infant in tow. Will return!

Another beautiful stay

It's our 3rd year hosting a board game retreat at this lovely property. Carol is very kind and the property is gorgeous. Everything is extremely clean and very accessible. The house is stocked so well with everything you would ever need for a visit.

Great place for a big family!

We had a great time with our four generations of family! Very spacious with room to spread out but to also be together as a big family. The amenities were great and we have a wonderful time. I'd recommend this to any large group looking for a comfy, large and affordable place!

Beautiful property

Sursum Corda housed this year's family reunion, about 20 adults and 2 children. There was just enough space for us. A few of the one-person bedrooms did not have windows but were cozy and small fans were provided to create air circulation. The building itself was clean, simple and cozy. The property available to guests includes 2 fire pit areas and a lovely 1/4 mile loop walk tthrough some very serene woods. The proximity to the beach was great. The beach was clean, wide, and with fine sand. It was one of our best reunions yet.

Accommodation for large group near beach!

I booked this property for a multi generational family retreat of sorts, though I personally was unable to attend due to health reasons. All communication I had with Carol was pleasant and responsive. When my family arrived, they informed me the cleanliness of the home was questionable and they were unsure if it had been cleaned prior to their arrival. I did not view the home personally but reviewed some photos. I will say that for such a large property near the beach at a reasonable price with a low cleaning fee, the basic cleanliness was fair for this sort of rental. Certainly not luxury by any means and could use some attention and deep clean. As I understand, the communication with Carol was a bit tense when cleanliness was brought up, with Carol suggesting our family could just check out if they were unhappy with the home. My family ended up staying for 4 nights and had a nice time connecting with each other and enjoying the beach. The property was large enough for our needs (5 families with ages ranging from 4-75). There were many rooms and Carol accommodated different bed configurations to meet our needs. As I was not there in person, I cannot recommend one way or the other, but I will extend a thank you to Carol for hosting a space where my family could make some memories.

A Wonderful Experience

What a wonderful experience. Our church has had our women's retreat here for several years. This is the perfect place. Location by the beach. Separate beds for each of our women. A large kitchen and dining room that allows us space to eat together. A large living room for conversations. I large TV room with ample seating options. It's just the perfect place. The owner is a gem as well. So accomadating and nice. It really is the best place to have a retreat for a large group. :)

Ladies Retreat

We are a group from 87 to 7 there was 20 of us. The house is perfect the upstairs is big enough for cooking a meal together tables enough to do classes or craft. Then you have the downstairs for the teens and young adults. Carol is amazing easy to talk to and is always available. Thank you so much this is our 3rd ladies retreat here and we will be back next year.

Our 4th stay - perfect place for large family get together!

This is our fourth time staying here and this trip had four families get together for several nights for a holiday reunion. So much nice space for kids and adults to spread out and kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook large dishes! Always love the little store down the street and checking out Seabrook and the beach too! Would stay again!!

Relaxing and beautiful!

It's been such a pleasure to enjoy our board game retreat for the 2nd year in a row. This space is so welcoming and gorgeous! It's lovely to have space to roam around and not be stacked on each other like other properties.
