Welcome to Deer Bend Cabin, an Amish-built log home tucked away on 3 wooded acres. This warm and inviting retreat blends rustic charm with modern comfort, making it the perfect getaway for families, friends, or couples seeking peace and adventure.

Arrive by a winding gravel driveway lined with towering walnut, oak, and tulip trees. With no visible neighbors.

Enjoy the local wildlife visitors who stop by the property. A resident screech owl often perches in the trees nearby—you may hear its calls while relaxing on the porch or by the fire pit. A group of deer, usually around 10 to 15, mosey through woods surrounding the cabin. The deer like to let out little snorts when they’re around. Newton, the resident mischievous raccoon, occasionally brings his friends to poke for treats left around by the fire pit.

Inside, you’ll find three cozy bedrooms – a king suite, a queen room with an extra click-clack couch, and a twin room with three beds – plus extra sleeping space on the living room couch. Two full bathrooms (one tub/shower, one shower) make mornings easy.

Antique décor adds character, while modern amenities keep your stay comfortable: high-speed Wi-Fi, streaming TV, Bluetooth speaker, board games, and a dedicated workspace. The kitchen comes fully equipped with cookware, pantry basics, basic spices, wine glasses, and 2 coffee makers and tea kettle.
