Dieses 1100 sf Chalet verfügt über ein offenes Wohnzimmer mit Holzofen und Zentralheizung. Mikrowelle, (keine Spülmaschine), W & D, Comcast Kabel, WiFi, zwei 40 "Fernseher, DVD-Player. Beide Schlafzimmer befinden sich im Erdgeschoss mit jeweils einem Queensize-Bett. Loft verfügt über 1 Queensize-Bett, 1 Doppelbett und 2 Einzelbetten. Loft hat auch einen 40 "TV mit Comcast Kabel. Auf jeder Etage befindet sich ein Badezimmer mit Dusche. Zentralheizung und Holzofen sorgen im Winter für Gemütlichkeit. Schatten von Bäumen hilft, die Kabine im Sommer kühl zu halten. Haus hat auch eine Terrasse mit Gartenmöbeln und Propan BBQ (Sommer). Es gibt eine Hufeisengrube und 3 Schneerassen für Gäste. Die Auffahrt ist kurz und führt bergab. Bei schneereichem Winterwetter sind möglicherweise Ketten erforderlich. Es gibt Winterparkplätze für 2 Autos. Der ebene Eingang von der Auffahrt mit wenigen Stufen und die Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss eignen sich gut für eine Familie mit älteren Mitgliedern. NICHTRAUCHER, KEINE HAUSTIERE. 2 Nächte Mindestaufenthalt / 3 Nächte min. während der Ferienzeiten.

Cozy Cabin

We had a nice stay at this cabin. It is conveniently located to several attractions. Our plan was to go skiing at Bear Valley but the ski conditions were not ideal. We had so many other activities to choose from that it still made for a great weekend!

peaceful location, comfortable cabin

We had a very relaxed time in a pleasant setting--exactly what we wanted. Cell coverage was poor but we didn't care. Quiet neighborhood. Driveway is steep but no snow or ice when we were there.

Snowy weekend getaway

We had a great stay with our kids and another family at the cabin. It’s the perfect location to get to Bear Valley skiing, both downhill and cross country, as well as sledding and other snow play, but low enough elevation that we didn’t get stuck in the snow. The cabin is a little rustic, and very comfy. We had everything we needed. It’s a small thing but we really appreciated not having to strip the bedding at the end of our stay. The driveway is a bit steep which they mention in the description but we didn’t have any problems. We would stay there again.

Neat Cottage near Bear Valley

Everything was as described. We had a smooth visit from check in to check out. Well stocked with kitchen tools and small appliances. Nice bedding. Lots of useful nightlights to help find the bathroom in the dark. If you put kids in the loft, you will hear every noise in the downstairs bedrooms until they stop moving and chatting and finally fall asleep upstairs. The Avery trash transfer station was easy to find and use when we were leaving. Good stay overall.

had to book twice

Do not be fooled when you get instant approval from VRBO. The realtor managing this property does not consider you confirmed until you return a 5 page rental agreement requiring initials and signature and multiple places that must be faxed back with 48 hrs or they cancel your reservation. I was out of internet range and they canceled my reservation. I would recommend the owner be more involved in the process. We did not receive the code to the lock box, most cell phones do not work in the area. Relator closed on a friday at 4pm. not able to call for help. You get 1 garbage bag for 2 nights stay recommend you bring your own. The hand soap in bathrooms and kitchen was horribly watered down would not even suds up. The light on the deck is motion sensor and only stays on for about 3 sec. If you want to sit on the deck you sit in complete darkness. They do not want you to bring your own shoes inside the cabin so maybe you want to bring some house shoes.Furniture is oversized for the size of the cabin and the front room kitchen area is very cramped and difficult to move around in. The bedrooms appear roomier. The showers are very small tall people had to duck short people the water hits over their head to the wall no way to adjust the shower nozzle. There are other rentals on this same street with similar prices and much roomier layouts and full size shower/tub combinations. We adapted and still had a good time but the rental process does not need to be so.... complex

Sorry this guest was not happy with the process or the cabin. As the property mangers for this cabin, we send several emails to our guests with instructions on our process and the check in and check out procedure. Also providing our phone number should guests have questions or need assistance. It is the responsibility of our guests to send in their correspondence in a timely matter to secure their reservation and to read check-in information, so if they do arrive after hours then they will know how to pick up their rental packet. This guest was notified of all. We also provide an after hour number should guests encounter any problems upon arrival or during their stay. This cabin is a favorite for many returning guests. Sorry this was not a cabin this guest enjoyed.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, the cabin was awesome. We had a very peaceful 2 days. BUT! Upon arrival, we found the kitchen floor to be very sticky, so I had to mop it. 2nd, when I took out a few pots and pans, they weren’t clean. Residual food particles remained on several. There was an accumulation of dirt on all of them. I had to wash every one of them. The refrigerator took 24 hours to reach the coldest setting. Due to the fact the temperature of the refrigerator wasn’t cold enough, some meat went bad. Luckily I’d only purchased some chicken, so it wasn’t safe to eat, therefore I had to dispose of it. I brought some salmon but I cooked it 15 minutes after we arrived, so that didn’t have a chance to go bad. I’ve addressed these issues to your very kind assistant, who tried her best to resolve what she could. I strongly believe we left your rental cleaner than when we arrived. These issues were quite disappointing for us. I was told one of the rental agents would get back to us quickly. Perhaps the term “quickly” has a different meaning in the mountains. I’m not the type of person that makes an issue out of situations that I don’t think are that concerning. But I felt strongly that these instances warranted your attention. Other than that, we had a wonderful, peaceful time. My daughter and I needed to spend some quiet time together. We both came away feeling closer than we’d been in many years.

Sorry to hear these guests had some problems with the refrigerator. The refrigerator has been checked and is cold, as is the freezer with unmelted ice. It sounds like the temperature just needed some adjustment. It is strange that some of the pots and pans were found with a dirt covering, they were checked and clean per housekeeping after the last guest stay and the floor reported mopped? So sorry about these cleaning items which we have reported to the cleaning company. Glad these guests had a peaceful stay and bonding time together, the sierras are the perfect place to accomplish this.

Everything about the property was great. Only problem we had was parking. Our van had snow cables, but we got stuck trying to get out the driveway. Too steep for cables to work. Snow saucers we were counting on weren't there. We enjoyed our stay, response from property manager was excellent. The property other than the parking was just right.

Family vacation

We had a great time and the cabin was the perfect size for our family of 5. There are blankets and comforters but you need to bring linens and towels. They have a good selection of DVD's and board games. We played many games of Battleship!

Great weekend

Great cabin that met Our needs. Excellent location and easy process. Comfortable and just what our family needed. Not a fancy place, perfect for family. One thing to know ahead , you have to bring your own linens and towels snd take your garbage for disposal about 20 minutes away. Both were fine snd likely help keep the place affordable, just something good to know before you book.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It's a nice comfortable cabin with all the amenities and enough sleeping space for our family of 6. One downside is that due to an extraordinary snowstorm the smaller side streets couldn't be cleaned fast enough, so we ended up mostly sledding in the driveway. Still, this was our kids first time in the snow, so the trip was a success.And speaking of the driveway, it's kinda steep, so be mindful about how you'd get out.

Nice small cabin

It’s a good cabin for the price. The place is a bit outdated. Old shower heads and toilets. But they have full kitchen, lots of beds and are in a great location. We loved our stay.

Wonderful trip for my sons 18th birthday

The neighborhood was quiet, the air was crisp and clean and the fire pit in the yard was the highlight of the trip. Thank you! My only issue was the price.

Fun Time at the cabin

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the cabin was nice and cozy and very warm. The rooms were nice and clean and so were the kitchen wares (we did a ton of cooking) The bathrooms were clean (toilet very small). The shower curtain in the downstairs bathroom was shockingly disgusting! While everything else appeared to be cleaned this shower curtain was definitely not! It smelled so bad like urine and locker room I threw it away. I went to the local market and replaced it and left a spare in the other bathroom. THat the only complaint I had. Other than that had a blast and loved the cabin. It was a little hard to find but we had a blast.
