House with 4 double en suite bedrooms was fabulous. Charlie, the caretaker, was immensely helpful and even stocked our kitchen after sending him a provisions list. The location is simply stunning with beautiful views over the entire harbor. The dock shown in the photos is great and big enough for the ferry to tie up to. We rented a 23’ Albury from Cat’s Paw and kept it at the dock for the duration of our stay - nice and easy. There is also a second dock on the other side of the peninsula which is a great spot to sit and enjoy the morning sun. The property is big enough to go for a stroll and even has a private beach which was perfect for launching our kayaks. We had tons of fun cooking in the well appointed kitchen and it was easy to call a local ferry on the radio when we wanted to go out. Our flights to the Bahamas were badly and repeatedly affected by the government shutdown but Charlie and the owner, John, were in constant contact and even let us extend our stay by a couple of days at no charge. Total awesomeness.
