This two-bedroom condo was purchased and furnished (all furniture brand new) in 2021 and is a great home base for your Durango stay.
This condo has 1 bedroom with an additional open loft bedroom and 2 bathrooms Our house is a clean, charming, personal, and welcoming home that makes its visitors feel like they are guests in a very special place. You will have the time of your life on this vacation in Durango!
It is located just minutes from Mesa Verde National Park, Durango airport, and the town of Durango with the great restaurants, galleries, theaters, shopping, Durango Hot Springs, and Purgatory ski resort (45 min drive). Enjoy the wonderful walks and bike paths without getting in the car.
Our condo has 1 master bedroom downstairs with a queen-sized bed with a private bathroom, upstairs there is a queen-sized bed with two inflatable mattresses for extra people. Both bathrooms have showers and tubs. The living room has a sitting area with a TV and wifi. The dining area and kitchen are adjacent to the living room. There is also a laundry room on the ground floor. This condo is located at the back of the complex, offering a peaceful and private setting. As noted in the photos, the pool and hot tub are not attached to the unit and are located at the front of the complex.
Durango is a special place where winter and summer are welcomed with equal joy. The area offers terrific skiing in the winter and numerous outdoor activities in the summer.

Great neighborhood located right next to Fort Lewis College and 5 minutes to downtown Durango.
Complex parking is open and unassigned. A car is recommended for your stay as rideshares are hit or miss in Durango. The condo is located close (5 min drive) to downtown Durango & Fort Lewis College. Purgatory is outside of town and about 30 minutes from the condo.
Please note that this unit has no central air conditioning/heating. There are window/portable air conditioners (available June-September), baseboard heaters and ceiling fans. Pets are not allowed in the unit due to complex rules.
The condo complex is built on stilts, and there are quite a few steps (approximately 40) that must be climbed to enter and exit the unit each time you come and go. The HOA does shovel and treat for snow but please consider packing smaller bags instead of large suitcases and booking another home if you or members of your party have difficulty climbing stairs.
We regret that we cannot typically honor early check-in or late check-out requests due to same day checkouts or checkins. To ensure availability, please consider booking the night before or after your stay to allow you more time to relax before or after your flight.
For stays longer than one week, toilet paper, shower supplies, and other "consumables" will be provided as a starter supply but will not be restocked during your stay.
Please note that the first image shown is of the community pool and clubhouse, not of the unit. The pool is not attached to the unit, and the condo is not a single-family home. The pool is open from May to September. The hot tub is typically available year-round, but there is scheduled maintenance planned, though exact dates are not confirmed. If using the hot tub is important to you during your stay between October and May, please check with us for availability.
Rental agreement must be signed and photo of renter's valid driver's license must be shared (due to an insurance requirement) via verification software before access is provided. We do not accept third-party bookings.
No Smoking or Vaping Indoors
This is a 100% smoke- and vape-free home. We use a privacy-safe air quality monitor that detects tobacco, cannabis, and vape particles. Violations will result in a minimum $250 cleaning fee and may lead to immediate removal from the property.
Noise and Occupancy Monitoring
The property is equipped with a smart device that also monitors noise levels and occupancy (via motion and environmental sensors) to ensure a peaceful stay for all guests and neighbors. It does not record audio or video.
No Unauthorized Guests
The home has a strict occupancy limit. If the number of guests exceeds what was declared in your reservation, your stay may be terminated without refund.
