Country Hilltop Retreat on 9.5 Acres Near KC & Overland Park Sleeps 10

We are a family of four including two adventurous young girls and their travel-loving parents who have spent years exploring wonderful places near and far. In all our travels, we’ve always been drawn to homes that feel warm, personal, and connected to their surroundings. We wanted to create a space where guests could feel that same sense of peace, comfort, and belonging. Hosting gives us the opportunity to share a little piece of that magic with others.

When we’re not hosting, you can often find us planning our next family adventure, spending time outdoors, or enjoying the simple joys of country living. We take pride in creating a place that’s both beautiful and comfortable, where guests can relax, recharge, and make memories.

We fell in love with this part of the countryside because it offers the best of both worlds, peaceful open spaces with fresh air and star-filled skies, yet still close enough to enjoy all the attractions, dining, and entertainment the area has to offer. Here, mornings are quiet except for the sound of birdsong, and evenings are made for sitting outside under a canopy of stars.

We also love how friendly and welcoming the community is. Whether you’re visiting a local farmers’ market, stopping by a nearby winery, or exploring scenic backroads, there’s always a sense of genuine hospitality. It’s the kind of place that invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and truly enjoy the moment.

Our retreat was designed with both relaxation and togetherness in mind. Set on a spacious piece of land, it offers plenty of room to explore, play, or simply sit back and enjoy the view. The home blends modern comforts with a cozy, inviting atmosphere perfect for curling up by the fire, sharing meals in the fully stocked kitchen, or unwinding on the deck with a glass of wine.

We’ve added thoughtful touches throughout including luxurious linens, a well-equipped kitchen, and spaces for gathering indoors and out. Guests have everything they need for a memorable stay. But what truly sets our property apart is the feeling it gives you: that you’ve found your own private escape, where the world slows down and the beauty of the countryside takes center stage.
