Our property is at the end of a country lane that is beautifully maintained. Although is looks like a chapel, it was never used for that purpose. The guest house used to be an art studio and has been converted to a unique living space. The front door is an antique and came from a historic chapel.
You will have everything you need for an amazing stay. A comfortable king size bed with luxury cotton linens, robes, slippers, high quality toiletries, coffee and an assortment of hot teas. There are also books and games in case of inclement weather.
We enjoy watching wildlife such as song birds and deer. I am a gardner and encourage you to explore the garden during your stay. You will also have picnic blanket available if you would like to find a nice spot to relax as well. I provide everything you need for your morning coffee so there is no need to rush out to get it! The Berry Farms develoment which is near by has a wine shop, Publix, restaurants, nail salon, Dry Bar, Club Pilates, and a Gourment to Go shop.
Arrington Vinyards and First Bank Amphitheater are very close so I encourage you to check to see if there are any events during your stay. There is a local farmers market on Wednesday afternoon in Arrington across from the Vinyard. Some nice hictorical places to visit are Carnton Plantation, Carter House, Lotz House and Winstead Hill. The Factory in downtown Franklin is a converted stove factory and is full of unique shopping and dining. A must see for sure. There are also events at The Factory so I would check their website before your visit. Downtown Franklin is lovely and has historic buildings, shopping, casual and fine dining. Dickens of a Christmas and The Main Street Festival are a lot of fun. I am happy to make recommendations for dining if you need them. Kimbros Picking Parlor is a local dive for live music. There are also walking tours in downtown Franklin if that is of interest. If you want to visit the scene in downtown Nashville it is about a 25 minute drive. The hamlet of Leipers Fork is also a must see! Fox and Locke has live music and you never know who you might spot in there!
Franklin is a wonder place to visit and to live. I have been here for 27 years and can not imagine living anywhere else!
