This cozy Cape Cod is in the Watership Downs Community just minutes from I85 in Lexington NC. The High Rock Hideout is nestled in the trees on the banks of the Yadkin River at High Rock Lake. It’s the perfectly peaceful and private place for a relaxing getaway with friends and family.
The space
We have left this property as natural as possible to minimize our encroachment on wildlife and its habitat.
Use caution when walking down to the dock area as the stairs are steep and the gravel path is uneven.

By using the kayaks, canoe, or any related water equipment provided at High Rock Hideout, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. Use of watercraft and participation in water activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to drowning, injury from collisions, capsizing, or exposure to changing weather conditions, and equipment failure. You assume full responsibility for your safety and actions while on or near the water. This includes the dock and surrounding area.
2. Personal responsibility: All users must be in good physical health and able to swim. Life jackets (PFDs) must be worn at all times while on the water. Equipment must be used properly and only in safe weather and water conditions. Do not operate kayaks or canoe while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
3. Supervision: Persons under 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times. The equipment is not suitable for unsupervised minors.
4. No Liability: The owner’s of this property are not liable for any injury, death, or damage to personal property arising from the use of watercraft or lake related activities. You use the kayaks and canoe entirely at your own risks.
5. Care of Equipment: Guests are responsible for returning all equipment in good condition. Any damage to, or loss of, equipment during use is the full financial responsibility of the guest. Please report any issues immediately.

This property is not set up for children as there are no extra safety measures in place for children. If children accompany you on your stay, please ensure you bring everything necessary to keep them happy, healthy, and safe!
