The host canceled my stay right before check in, which was a huge inconvenience and disappointment. His reasoning for cancelling was because I was a “local”. He lacked communication skills which resulted in me contacting vrbo support for him to process my refund. I do not recommend booking if you are a local. If you aren’t, hopefully you’ll have a better experience.
