Absolute Perfect Escape Log Cabin 4 ist die zweitgrößte Kabine mit Platz für bis zu 22 Gäste. Log Cabin 4 ist eine erstklassige Blue Ridge-Hütte mit 9 Schlafzimmern und 3 Bädern auf zwei Ebenen und eignet sich perfekt für große Familientreffen. Die untere Ebene beherbergt den Game Room, der einen Billardtisch und ein Arcade-Spiel mit über 48 klassischen Arcade-Spielen umfasst. Diese Ebene verfügt auch über sechs geräumige Schlafzimmer: fünf Schlafzimmer mit Queen-Size-Holzbetten, ein Zimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten und ein großes Badezimmer. Alle Schlafzimmer sind komplett mit Holzmöbeln und einem Fernseher mit DVD-Player ausgestattet.

Die Hauptebene enthält das Hauptschlafzimmer und das Hauptbad mit Whirlpool. Auf dieser Etage befinden sich auch ein offenes Esszimmer, eine voll ausgestattete Küche, eine Waschküche und ein geräumiges Wohnzimmer mit Kathedralendecken und einem Steinkamin mit einem 42-Zoll-LCD-TV. Amazing Views

Place and views are stunning. House is spotless. Bring DVDs if you have them. Bring coffee supplies k pods etc. Bring extra pillows and maybe an extra blanket when its cold. You need to do a thorough cleaning for checkout so grab the multisurface cleaner. I cant describe how beautiful the area is. I highly reccomend.

Cabin #3 was everything indicated in the write up. Very clean. The kitchen is complete with all needed for a short stay. Although the coffee machine does both keurig cups or can brew a pot, make sure to bring your own filters as there are none supplied if you plan to brew a pot. The bathroom is great size. All towles are supplied. Washer and dryer are awesome. Easy to use and great convenience. Bed is comfortable, but I would suggest to bring your own pillows. We also brought an extra blanket. The electric fireplace works well and easy to use. I would suggest the owners leave instructions for the tv. Took a bit to figure out between remotes and how to access the Dish Network. The deck was perfect for enjoying the mountain views. Lastly, the hot tub was so relaxing and private. We loved our short stay and will return for another stay soon.

Beautiful retreat

The cabin is beautiful and well-appointed, and located in a lovely area. There's quick access to both wooded and hilly countryside, and good shopping/restaurants for essentials. Our group of 15 (including 2 kids and 1 baby) fit very well and we had everything we needed to do a great family get-together. The hot tub and game room were great, and the high chair and pack-n-play were very nice to have. Our only disappointments were the single bathroom downstairs (with 6 bedrooms) and some minor deferred maintenance (ice maker drips water slowly, sheets are rough, pillows a bit packed down). But these were small things and didn't stop us from enjoying the stay!

Great mountain getaway

This is the second time my group has stayed in this house. There were a few things that weren’t in good working order but I understand the property is changing hands and there are supply issues to make needed repairs that are unavoidable and beyond control of the management. We had an amazing time and the house is just beautiful and in a great location for us. We will likely be back.

Great location for a large get together!

The owners were very responsive and great hosts. The house was just as pictured. Lots of space for people to stay and be together (or apart). The arcade game didn't work but that wasn't a big deal. Due to the number of people the house can accommodate, it would've been nice to have a 2nd refrigerator downstairs. The firepit was a big hit and the large front room accommodated many rounds of games! The house and location definitely added to the overall success of our family/friend weekend get-a-way.

Great for big family reunion

The kitchen was well equipped and and the pantry was very useful. Beds were comfortable, but a king or two would be nice. When we had trouble with the washing machine, the owner came over within 20 minutes to fix the problem. Two terraces were nice depending on the time of day and the fire pit was delightful. Screen doors onto the terraces would be nice, as would a table on one of the decks. The pool table was a h1`it but the air hockey table was fun but didn't keep score, and the Pac Man machine didn't work. (No big deal.) Also, the air conditioning did not work upstairs -- and two of the bedrooms were over-warm for sleeping. Since we had a family group with kids of all ages, the open space upstairs was good, and they enjoyed playing outside too. In the description. It was a great space for our reunion group and we had a wonderful time.

Beautiful cabin - unusual circumstances

The cabin is absolutely gorgeous and was the perfect fit for my bridesmaids and I during my bachelorette getaway weekend. My group travels to the Massanutten area each year in the winter so we are pretty familiar with the area. This was our first time staying in the perfect escape cabin. Everything would have been awesome, but a terrible incident occurred upon check in. The group was first given the incorrect address. So half of the group arrived at the wrong location which was more than 20 minutes away. This wouldn’t have been too much of an inconvenience but it was dark and the roads were icy. The host had a strict 4pm check in policy so out of respect for the rules we arrived around 530 so it was very dark out. The group was then given a 2nd address. Three cars in our group pulled into the driveway of the address we were given. Minutes later a gun toting man approached the vehicles screaming obscenities and telling us to get off of his property. We were all terrified. Absolutely panicked! There was also a racist undertone, but everyone was so startled we just got out of there. Did I mention the first 3 cars arrived at the 2nd property separately, so multiple people had the exact same experience back to back. I wish I was exaggerating. So finally we get a 3rd address and it’s The correct one. Once we got settled the cabin was great. There was 3 rolls of toilet paper for 16 women which was a nuisance the first night. The reservation mentioned they would provide TP, otherwise we would’ve been prepared. I messaged the host the next day to no response. Other than that we had a great time, I just wish the host was more responsive and wasn’t deceitful about the correct address. It was a really scary experience and we almost called the police but we were nervous to call one because we were in a small town. They were really strict about checking out on time, and it was stated if we were even a minute late checking out we would be charged a full night. So leaving was like a scene out of mission impossible as if we were on a timer. For this to be such a pricey property you would expect the hospitality to be average at least. The next day a member of my party Realized they left a very expensive coat in the closet. We contacted the host and we’re told we would need to pay $50 plus shipping to return the coat. I spoke to her directly on the phone and the host was literally speaking so aggressively and refused to allow me to get a word in. Very bizarre.

Great experience, with reservations.

My group of friends had a fantastic time around the massive firepit, and enjoyed a bunch of board games around then dining room table. However, the kitchen is woefully ill-equiped to cook for more than 10 people. The lighting is bizarre, it's all very blue LED lights. The TVs are small, even the main one, mounted 7ft off the ground, is maybe 38 inches. And the downstairs pool table is worn out, the air hockey table is straight-out dangerous if you're playing it like you would in an arcade. The puck flies off the table comically easy. The property, at the time of our stay, had a huge issue with wasps. We knocked down a handful of nests, but had to deal with wasps making their way into the house more than a few times. I, personally, had one flying around my bedroom late at night. However, the house is well conditioned and was remarkably clean upon arrival. It just needs updated entertainment appliances and a well-stocked kitchen.

The Kitchen has all the necessary utensils, cups, plates, bowls, pots, pans, etc. for 22 guests. The lighting is a "Warm Light" color in LED bulbs which is a softer yellow color. The Tv's in the bedrooms are a 32" flat screen and the one in the Living room, OVER THE FIREPLACE, and above the MANTLE is 65". An order was placed in June of this year to replace the pool table felt but was delayed several times by the pool table repair company, probably due to employee/Covid issues. The pool table felt is finally being replaced this week. This is the first complaint of any issues with the Air Hockey table. The Air Hockey "puck" is replaced a few times a year but what can we do to control people wildly hitting the puck and it leaving the table. We were never contacted during your stay for any issues including wasps nests. We have pest control monthly spray for bugs and during the summer months remove wasps nests at all of our cabins but realize they can build their nest back in 1 day.

Great Family Vacation!!

Cabin 4 had lots of room for our 3 generation family vacation! While I was concerned that there were only 3 bathrooms, it was not an issue at all. The bathrooms were very large, which allowed for families to use them together. The two porches were great for breakfast coffee, and quiet reading/chatting time, as well as grilling and hot tub. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evening - and the rest of the yard for frisbee, and other yard games. Also, so important for large groups - there was plenty of parking, as well as 2 Food Lions and a Walmart within 6 miles. Luray has so many different things to do, we were never at a loss for something to do. Thanks for the wonderful memories!!

Great getaway

We are a motorcycle club made up entirely of professional firefighters. Each year we get away to the mountains to enjoy brotherhood and peace and quiet. This year was no different. The house was perfect for our needs and we had an amazing time.

Great spot for a group vacation

We stayed at this cabin for my birthday weekend and had an awesome time. The hot tub, game room, and fire pit offer a great combo of amenities, and the cabin is secluded enough to feel like an escape without being too far from civilization. Definitely recommend, especially for large groups.

The house was perfect for a group of 11 guys! Better then expected. Property was nice and private, house was immaculate upon arrival and this was a very easy process. Just need more friends to get married so we can go again! Thank you for the hospitality!

Fantastic getaway

The home was great. Lots of bedrooms and beds. Big kitchen stocked with everything you need and living room space for the whole group. The game room was a nice addition. We brought our own speakers which was great (there is an old boom box in a closet if you do not). The grill had fuel and we enjoyed the hot tub. Since it was already got out, we just turned the temp down and had a mini pool haha. Bring your own food for the fire pit. I would recommend going up to Emerald pond for a dip. We also hit Hawksbill Brewing which had lots of variety for good prices and Pen Druid Brewing which had some really great, outlandish beers for a bit higher price.

Good times!

Plenty of room for my very large family to be together without being right on top of each other. The fire pit was awesome, the kids loved the game room and the owners were very responsive and attentive.
